Just the Link 2 from the newest pack. Its archetype effect seems pretty good but I don't see myself playing Fur Hires. >_>

Messing around with Ghoti. It's a fun, cheesy deck. Summon the unfathomable fishy horror on your opponent's turn, banish everything to the shadow realm, otk. I like it.

Made it to Plat 2....and promptly down to Plat 3 soon after.

Ugh, I'm so bad at piloting my Dragon pile deck. I tried to deck people out via me getting C'd but then they turned out to play Tearls on top of me not knowing what to summon. >_>

I guess I'll just go back to non-pile ones, but it's so hard to play with Ishuzu infestation.

Playing AW admittedly is so comfy to the point I forgot how to play anything else I have.

I just saw a Paleo Tear build. Because Tears have traps and Paleos also send traps from deck, it works in many different ways but is probably unfathomably weaker 2nd compared to the usual build. Considering I managed to pull 0 of the Ishizu URs, though I've not been saving enough for them, maybe it's better for me to pivot. Paleos are still very weak against things but summoning them in this day and age doesn't actually do much anyways esp without Toad

Reira the Zarc soul vessel finally got some love. They need to make a special OVA where Reira finally grew up as 16 years old entame duelist and has full control of zarc's soul as her own. She then proceed to curbstomb every dimension duelist with her newly acquired zarc card and create a whole new dimensions like ritual dimension and maximum dimension that can be used in master duel.

If you have it, Guardian Chimera is pretty good to use if you have Polymerization in any deck it's so dumb

Both are good.

The Amazonness one is a free special from your deck and on board protection from card destruction effects that also protects spell/traps. Swings twice if you fusion with the right materials which is easy enough to do.

The Tiger one can special Amazoness from GY by destroying another amazoness card on field (which you must do).

Ugh, I bricked so hard consecutively.
I even lost against Trickstar burn of all things.
The one time I got to make a servicable board I got Evenly'd.

Also mfw Golden Castle of Stromberg isn't once per turn.

I love that feeling when they Ash my Martha but I still have full combo. <_<

Really specific though. I had to normal summon Ellis, Pax out Stella, Stella summon Martha, then Xyz into Kapsitell to fetch a second Ellis. Really screwed up my potential grind game and I'm honestly pretty lucky I won. (Also considering I forgot to pitch my D Shifter before using Pax lol)

Could probably also do it with Magistus + Pax but either way there's considerably more luck involved

I know Ryu isnt but the spirit of the Millenium Ring Bakura is because he'd be past the point where whatever happens to put him in the ring happens

I thought if there's an effect requiring you to interact with 2 cards, and you remove one of them, the effect won't go through? I destroyed a card psychic end punisher was banishing and his effect somehow still went off....

It's because it says "banish them", which means you apply the effect as much as possible.

If it said "banish those targets" it wouldbe more strict.

I only know this because Ritual Beasts was an olf pet deck of mine and they abused this pedantic technicality lol

I believe King thief bakra was an Avatar/host to zorc as much as Atem the host to split spirit Holactie the divine angel. Before the Egyptian arc began we can see the spirit of ancient bakra was fully initiated to served his dark Lord zork once he had all the dark millennium items on his possession. Tea even noted how cold spirit bakra was compared to he was back in the duelist kingdom. Her darkness was amped up to the max thanks to zork full control over spirit of bakra..

Exosisters still carrying me through the Duelist Cup.

Went against a Swordsoul player who made MoYe + Long + 2 tokens. They would've had game if they went into Baronne for their 5th summon, but went for Cheng instead. And they revealed Protoss for Mo Ye too, so I knew to wait for it...

Have had a surprisingly diverse experience so far. Only about half the duels were meta I think, and even those were a decent mix of the top decks. Tear didnt seem over represented.

On track to have a boatload of gems for the next selection pack, so life is gucci.

When was the last time you see an Eldlich floodgate deck? I got hit by one. Mofo flipped Anti-Spell then, when they knew it didn't stop me, flipped TCBOO.

I deliberately avoided playing too many games during the first few days lol.

I think it's possible Konami won't touch Ishizus this banlist if only to encourage fomo pulls before the Tear pack rotates out. But if they're not slaughtered by the list after next I'll be genuinely surprised. We're a bit overdue for a "big" banlist I think.

FloodLich rears its ugly head now and again and its always a pain lol. Much more managable with all the floodgate hits since launch but still annoying. Havent run into them during the cup, though I did get CrookedCook'd once

...the Tournament Packs gave me my third copy of Tri and Guess. Im tempted to rebuild Nurse Burn...even though there's no reason to run it now that the 8000 damage mission is gone >_>

I said to myself that, were Zhuge Liang (AW Zhuge Kong) play Ancient Warriors, he would be using floodgates that Ancient Warriors can utilize, especially since AW Sun Mou/Zhou Gong can disable the floodgates as needed.

I did try using Dimensional Fissure but maybe I should've gone to to the deep end? Lol.

I say go for it and see how it works lol. Though the question you'd have to consider is how often you'll have the chance to use them and if thats worth the hit in consistency.

Floodgates are best played going first and don't AW want to go second whenever possible? Though maybe you could run Shifter since they dont really need the grave, right?

Yeah, anti GY like D-Shifter and Macrosmos hurt AW, but D-Fissure can still work.

AW can go first; the newer cards lets them do so. It's just their 'disruptions' are meh by today standard thus the need for floodgates and cockroach, as well as no 1 card combo whatsoever so if you brick then you're royally fucked lol.

But then, monkiflip cards can get you some wins even if you brick, so....
AW Eldlich is a thing, after all.

Worldsea Dragon Zealantis has been an absolute godsend in my Marincess deck. It's a great tool for breaking boards going second and the best way Marincess has to get rid of some annoying monsters like Avramax.

A lower tier WC qual DL Tear player insta folded to an Ash set/Called by set to another Ash in hand negating their Scheiren. All this guy had to do was play on... I had nothing lol
