Do you believe me when I tell you that God has been speaking to me?" He then pushes him, and the student runs to the other side of the classroom. "You should run and scream." In another video, he tells students, "Class, you have my permission to kick him in the balls." Parents told The Star that Samsel "put hands on the student" and allegedly kneed him in the crotch. In a video apparently taken immediately after the incident, the student is shown on the ground. Samsel is standing over him and says, "did it hurt?" He then asks him why he is about to start crying, pats him on the shoulder and apologizes, and then says he can "go to the nurse, she can check it for you." Samsel address another student and says, "do you want to check his nuts for him, please?" TX-06 is a jungle primary and the top 2 were Republicans, with the Democrat shut out by under 400 votes. We are not too far off from making progress there. Of course the Lubbock one is awful but that's basically in the panhandle (reddest part of the state) so zero expectations there. Also not a new concept, though I think it's the biggest one so far. I think other "sanctuary cities for the unborn" are already being challenged. The Austin one though is just despicable and it wasn't nearly as close - 57/43. Even the most "liberal" of cities hate the homeless and there's no end in sight to that. The solution is literally to just build more cheap housing and shelters but there's no money in it and NIMBYs hate it so it'll never happen. In Dallas it's really bad. There is SO MUCH undeveloped or abandoned land here and the only development plan seems to be to turn the entire city into hip bar districts. Meanwhile the city keeps getting into high-profile altercations by sending cops to break up homeless camps (read: steal/break their shit and push them somewhere else).
