I made the better sword that has atk% and the AoE crit thing and got it to 50, then I upgraded some good 4* accessories with atk% to 16 and upgraded my feather to 16. I now have like triple the attack I did, which was already fine and still a 26% crit rate. Diluc's damage is obscene. Well over 1k attack. Worth noting is there are plenty of set bonuses that give like 18% attack, BUT upgrading an atk% accessory to 16 gives like 30% attack so it's better to say fuck bonuses, just give me attack. I sadly don't have 4* attack accessories of every type. Crit rate also viable. Defensive stats, elemental mastery and energy recharge borderline worthless. Might try spiral abyss again and see how far I can get, although I should probably ascend Fischl and barbara since their damage is important for killing abyss mages. Got enough primogems to do another 10 pull of the ballad banner and got another barbara dupe. Not the worst thing in the world. I shouldn't be too far off venti. I think I need 50 more pulls to get him. I seem to be able to get around 1600 primogems a day for now with all the quest rewards and achievements and stuff (and they just give you 160 every day). It's super lame you can only fight the wolf once a week. Like honestly, even if rewards were only once a week, it wouldn't be too bad, but it's fun to fight and I wanna fight it again. Not sure if I wanna farm crafting mats to make more copies of my claymore to refine it. YoukaiSlayer 10/05/20 12:02:09 PM #314:	Huh, so the attack formula is kinda weird in genshin. It's base attack * atk% + flat attack. Base attack is weapon flat attack + character flat attack. This means the flat attack from artifacts is much less useful than it appears since it's easy to get over 200 atk%. Like, I have a level 16 feather, which gives 232 attack. But that's only 1/7th my total attack. Each attack% accessory gives 35% at level 16 which is almost as much as the 232 is giving me. Also interesting that characters have different ascension bonuses. Like Diluc gets 5% crit rate but Fischl gets 7.5 atk%. Accessories that give crit rate seem to give exactly 2/3rds of what atk% gives so a level 16 crit% should end up giving around 23.5% although I haven't maxed one. Gonna try and math out when crit rate is better than atk%. Wait, crit rate starts being better pretty early. Like around 65 atk% you will get more out of a point of crit than atk%. But then, atk% is "cheaper" by 1/3rd. So I think once you hit 100 extra atk%, crit rate becomes better. It becomes better sooner if you have more crit damage. I've also heard crit rate invisible caps at 80%. It lets you go over, but you never actually get better odds to crit. If you get all 9, thats 300 primo gems. As soon as you unlock it, you should probably be able to get like 600-700 primogems in 20 minutes. After floor 3 it gets much harder and at floor 5 you have to make 2 teams so you need at least 2 geared up carries. Floor 9-12 reset every two weeks so thats an additional 1200 primo gems every 2 weeks if you get strong enough to beat em. Probably lookin at AR 40 for that kinda power. agesboy posted... update: my barbara is complete I'm jealous. I got enough gems for another 10 pull and got another xiangling or whatever her name is (fire spear). I do use her in my team, but only for the 2 fire buff. Maybe I'll gear her eventually. This isn't counting all of the other non saveable draws I've had in the game, as well as non spark draws I've done. Given that it's such a one-note gimmick, I'm kinda curious how they've managed to fill 29 chapters so far. Really nice art. Mieruko herself is cute, which provides a more stark contrast against the monster and ghost designs. The backdrops feel a little minimalist at times, though. YoukaiSlayer posted... The world is so fucking jam packed with secrets every 50 feet. A lot of the quests actually require you to read the quest and use your brain too instead of just waypointing to the objective. Like, eventually that part of the game will end and you will be left with the gacha grind, but even if you drop the game the moment you finish exploring everywhere, it'll have been a really good time. For me thats what sets it apart from general gacha games which I tend to hate. A lot of the other stuff I've looked at or been reading has been darker/more serious or -- in the case of stuff where I kinda gave up on quickly -- incorporates a lot of superhero shit (then again, ~~Jinmen~~ is kinda going in that direction, although it's a later reveal and I kinda enjoy that series regardless since it's been pretty fucking dark all along. In some senses, it looks like it might be a little comparable to Parasyte because while there are some powered humans things are still pretty bleak) Otherwise, I'll probably be restarting reading School of the Dead from the beginning instead of picking up where I left out, since I think the scanlation wasn't that far along when I started. Truth to be told, I don't like the series that much and most of the early stories were kinda meh, but it has a lot of continuing plot threads that might make later stuff harder to follow if I forgot something. Revelation34 posted... Rune Factory 5 will be out soon enough so probably no point to get 4 now. The new voices will take some getting used to since I have a lot of history with both the Japanese voices and the old English dub, but it's not bad at all. Some of the voices even sound pretty similar to those of the old dub. One of the movies is a feature-length retelling of the first episode, with a ton of early bird cameos and references. They modernized things a bit from the 90s so people actually have cell phones and such such, but other then that it doesn't really interfere with canon. They also even included a song by my favorite Japanese artist, the late great ZARD, who sang a lot of songs for the series before her death, so I lost my shit there. I've kind of suspected this but it seems that low frame rates give me migraines. Watching some red vs blue (halo) clips causes me the same issue as anime and that doesn't go above 30 fps. I think I'm gonna try watching some of the anime I've downloaded ages ago since it's smoother than watching a stream but at the same time, anime is still at 24 fps with lots of things animating at 8 or less fps. Anime style games at 60 fps seem to not give me the same issue (like genshin and persona 5). Very frustrating.
