You just need a chromium based browser to play Granblue. The only reason I even have Chrome installed, is so that I can play Granblue on pc. There's an option to switch the game to English as well.

Bots are actually substantially more UPS-friendly than belts are. That gap has gotten a lot smaller than it once was (I think it was 0.16 that massively optimized belts, which was a couple years ago), but there was a time when a belt-only base breaking 1k SPM was all but impossible for a single computer. Now, belt-based megabases are actually possible, but bots still have an edge, and many people still default to bots because it's so much easier to set them up and make them work with beaconed setups (belt-based beacon lines are VERY squishy). Endgame belts are mostly only used by people who like the challenge of building belt setups.

i actually haven't noticed any pc burning issues myself but i assumed it was because i was only using a mere 2000

it does sometimes kick my entire (100% solar powered because that's how i wanted to roll that playthrough) base offline from the sudden power usage when i queue up a lot of things to be built though

i still haven't really learned trains and didn't really build that far out in that playthrough, but i'm definitely going to have to learn them. i did see the dev diary thing talking about how 1.1 will improve their functionality without mods, but i might grab a mod in the meantime

Having used trains pretty extensively already, I'm incredibly excited for that 1.1 change. I've been intermittently dabbling in a ribbon world (width is limited, length is infinite), and I've been struggling to figure out what circuit wizardry I'll need to have multiple smaller smelters running throughout (the basic plan is to have a single linear train bus running across the top edge of the map, with the factory broken up into small modules that fit within the limited width below there). Being able to simply set a limit for how many trains can path to a stop at once is going to be an absolute gamechanger, especially with the ability to set that limit using circuits.

I'd advise learning vanilla trains before dabbling in any of the bigger train mods. Logistic Train Network (which I haven't personally used, but it's one of the most popular mods) is incredibly powerful and helps tremendously with setting up more complex train networks, but it builds on the vanilla mechanics. Having at least a working understanding of signalling and the like will make it a lot less overwhelming to try integrating LTN's functionality into your factories.

Among other things, I read Chairudo yesterday. The series has been a lot more interesting than I initially expected, although there's a weird thing where I imagine the scanlation crews switched midway through and, instead of referring to the child-like individuals as Chairudo, they start to call them Chyldren (and Chyld) as a singular.

Then the other notable was a horror anthology titled Wsamarus 2001 where the first story fits well within the wheelhouse and it has a ton of shorter 1-2 page stories, then ends with a decidedly-not-horror poignant slice of life entitled "The Most Beautiful Water" about a girl's much older sister -- who she's never talked to -- waking up from a coma and taking her on an adventure for a day while the parents are on vacation (and presumably can't be reached by phone for whatever reason -- yes, I know that the story was set in 2000 or earlier, but you'd *think* they'd have a contact number)

The other two main girls are sisters and are sesshomoru's daughters. One looks very boyish and has white hair with a bit of red in it. She dresses in a male white school uniform from modern day japan "because it's easier to fight in". She was separated from her sister as a child and flung into the present day. She seems to mostly fight with her fists. Her sister looks a lot like Rin who I assume is the mother. She has lost her memories of her sister and was raised on sango's demon hunter village as a demon hunter. She uses a special naginata and can create some sort of cyclone ability

I was going to ask who the baby mama was, but I was kinda hoping that wouldn't be the answer given their prior relationship where he was more of a guardian/father figure.

Circuits are extremely powerful, but not remotely necessary to beat the game. There are some universal ones that are useful for pretty much everyone (backup power switch, train loaders/unloaders, safe train crossings if you're a pansy who doesn't like facetanking locomotives), but for the most part, you can pretty much always find a non-circuit way to do something and circuits are primarily for people who really want to do it a certain way.

Eh, provided you haven't cranked up biter settings and you don't neglect military research and building turrets and walls in sensible places, you don't really need to rush. Behemoths are somewhat scary, but the top-tier military stuff makes quick work of them (even just uranium rounds; nukes and artillery are more meant for large-scale base clearing). Especially with a solar-focused base and once you start transitioning into electric furnaces, you generally won't be spewing out enough pollution to make evolution a real threat.

Yeah, the Java version's the way to go, since the Bedrock Edition doesn't have mods. If you're just trying it out for the first time, you aren't likely to notice much of a difference because you won't be modding it right away, but mods ultimately add so much to the game that I can't imagine not being able to use them.

commissions is about a ten pull every month, and the $5 battle pass is about 20 pulls pulls every month

that's pretty much all i'm gonna get outside of events, one 5* every three months after spending $15 isn't that bad

events should be a regular source of gems too, though it remains to be seen how often they'll run. the current one is going for just a week and gives like 400 gems which is... ok

you can just plan it all from the map via radar without even having to physically be nearby

You can get about 30 pulls for free each month IF you get OP enough to max out spiral abyss on each reset. At 90 you get a pity 5* so a 5* every 3 months is pretty reasonable.

Realistically, you can also roll one without relying pity so the odds are probably closer to 1 5* every 2 months.

if there's a spark/pity/guarantee mechanic and you don't want to leave absolutely everything up to chance, yes

there are two camps of people: the whales who pull indiscriminately, and the poorboys that save up for half a year to get one specific thing they need

you need either self-control or a wallet when it comes to gacha games or you will probably get nowhere. i've been playing gacha games constantly since around 2012 and have played most of the big ones and a ton of the small ones. there is ALWAYS incentive to save

I save draws in Granblue always at this point. Only use them when I'm going to spark. It takes 300 draws on a single banner in Granblue to be able to spark. I've currently got 585 draws saved up, though I do know what I want to use them on. Because I'm so used to saving draws, I haven't drawn at all in Genshin, beyond the 20 beginner draws.

I think I'll wait a while to get the new Kingdom Hearts rhythm game. I am excited for it, but I have too many expenses coming up in the next few months (and there's always the looming threat of covid so I want to keep something saved for that).

It kinda sucks because it'll be the first time in a long time that I don't get a KH game on or near release, excluding cases where I didn't have the game system for it.

What's the best resource for finding out the publication history of certain manga? I was reading scanlations for MonsTABOO and other titles that only go up to a certain point and was wondering if it's a matter of the scanlation catching up, aggregators not necessarily having more recent stuff, or the manga itself not being that far along in Japan.

Partly because there's a major event in MonsTABOO which I had thought might have been a swerve, although some time after it I'm suspecting it might not have been a swerve and was instead just a crazy way to take the story, especially given that (major spoilers) when Zukki is impaled and seems to be dying, he starts to morph into a human and the person who stabbed him takes the body with them. Granted, many of the mechanics are so poorly explained that it's hard to be sure what's going on. However, an earlier chapter makes it look like the "Adults" can transform their bodies... although the silly thing is that adults may or may not transform into objects when touched. Nothing is explained all that clearly. At any rate, from the private conversations between Emma and her brother, I'm guessing Zukki just legit died and his death wasn't faked to teach Makura a lesson or help get her out of the game.

Depends on your goals. You could easily get diamond gear, build a nether portal, create a house, and set up a food supply if you know what you are doing and are trying to go quick. Or you could spend 2 hours exploring 1 cave and then fall in lava and lose everything. Such is the true genius of the games success. You can go as hard or soft as you want in a variety of gameplay styles. I do feel it gets pretty dull by yourself though but maybe it's cause I don't really care about building cool stuff for no gameplay advantage.

Man, gawr is tilting to me hell in their minecraft server. She keeps not eating when she has food and then dying because of it. Also seems allergic to making swords and armor for no reason. They've been trying to get a treasure chest from a map for like 2 hours and they keep dying and running ALL the way back. If they spent like 2 seconds to craft iron armor (they have a ton of iron in their base) and swords they would have succeeded in one try.

Started reading Higanjima: Last 47 Days earlier, which -- despite the summary sounding so-so -- really had my interest at the beginning. It's a horror manga with very suitable art for its tone. There are a lot of manga that seem like they're trying to be serious, but go for a cutesier style which only really works with a more lighthearted series or if you're going for a very strong contrast with monster designs.

...of course then chapter 3 hits and, like too many horror manga, you have basically a superhero around. Given that the series/sequel is a spinoff, there's probably an explanation for all that, but even so, is it so hard for mangaka to stay within the confines of more conventional horror?

Its just an issue he has. I realize we all have our personal tastes but even the things he does like he has a hard time making conversation about them.
