I've just been doing it on the 3rd or 4th each month so I'm committed. I did miss March though

Horribly.
Last week my husband and I literally had Popeyes 4 consecutive days. I broke out with acne from all that grease.
Needless to say, this week has been steamed veggies, fruits and healthy trailmix. Let's see how long this health trend will last.

Lol I ate way too many burgers and fries in a span of like 36 hours so I feel ya. Luckily I didn't find it hard to get back into healthy habits. Sometimes it's easy to fall off though

Started a new at-home routine and it's killing my legs. I spent most of this week unable to go up and down stairs without difficulty.

Here it is for anyone curious:

I've eaten healthy all of my life. Every once in a blue I end up indulging to the extent that my husband and I did with Popeyes.

Honestly, I feel so much better, energetic, happier and more regular(less constipated) now that we're back to eating healthy.

Now all I have to do is get my husband to go to bed at a decent time so we can get up early in the morning and go running. He keeps complaining that its not warm outside enough.

I started losing weight in August of 2018. Started off at 338 ibs. Three weeks ago, I weighed in at 180, which was the goal I set for myself, and have held steady there so far. Was worried the lockdowns were going to cause a nasty rebound (longest time I havent been to a gym in a long ass time), but so far I've been holding out ok, and have rigged up my apartment for all sorts of at home workouts, despite not actually owning any real equipment

Tbh, everyone was saying the whole time "wow, you must feel so much better, lighter, more energetic, etc"

I gotta be honest, I didnt really start feeling it until the last 30 ibs or so. Until that point, I pretty much felt the same. Granted, I knew I WASNT. Numbers dont lie. Scale went down, speed/distance went up, weights lifted went up, etc. But I didnt really FEEL any different.

Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. One day, it was like a switch flipped, and all of a sudden, on my days off I'll just get hit by this insatiable urge to do something, andit wont go away until I go run 5k or something. Its... odd. It's almost annoying, at times, if I'm being honest, lol. Weird to complain about, I guess, but its like... I'm trying to play persona 5 royal, dammit, I dont wanna work out right now!

I was doing 50 pushups as part of my accessory work, but I'm gonna switch to skullcrushers today. That many pushups has been starting to bother my elbows, and I want to hit my tris not my chest so much, hopefully skullcrushers address both issues

That's been my main issue doing pushups. I van do near 60 straight but the next day my elbows are shot. So now I do 20, rest for about an hour or more, then do another 20, rinse and repeat. However, even with that strategy, my elbows still give out after about a week.
It sucks getting older.

There's your problem. Your joints aren't getting any rest.

Do them 2 or 3 days a week; be sure to put 2 full days of no other pushing exercises between the days you do them. If you feel like your muscles aren't being worked enough this way, then up the intensity instead of frequency. Put your feet up on a surface higher than the floor, place your hands closer together, put your hands on an unstable surface like a basketball, do them one-handed, etc. You can do any one of these things or even combine more than one to increase the intensity of your workout.

M8's, I'm impressed with the number of pushups y'all are able to do. But your muscles will grow bigger and you will be stronger if you find ways to make the pushups harder, allowing for fewer reps, rather than pushing out an insane number of them.

Eh, that's what the other 4 days are for. Or I guess technically 3 of the other 4. Pushup days are a relaxing day when I work on endurance.

I do the same accessory work every workout, so 3x a week. 50 each of pushups (now skullcrushers), curls, and leg raises (used to do decline crunches but that was hurting my back)

I do them in a circuit, I do a set basically until failure then switch over and do the next exercise and repeat.

Just a heads up: certain muscle groups get ignored when you run on a treadmill vs outside because you're not pushing as much as you're "catching up to the ground". IIRC the general recommendation is to put your treadmill at a 2% incline when you run so those muscles get an equivalent amount of work,

Interesting. I'm sure my recumbent bike isn't as good as actually biking but tbh I just need it more for general health purposes than performance

Sweet! I just resealed the tires on my Roscoe and have been biking around town. I live in a place where biking is really popular, so we have loads of paths and no one using them right now. It's awesome. I don't really track mileage, I just go until I run out of water, but I think it's usually around 14 or 15 miles. Usually finish up in about 2 hours.
