People have issues with me not responding to this. But yeah, her sister was getting married and her mom wanted my gf to be around for every little thing, include pajama shopping and would make a big deal out of it. She missed pajama shopping to hang out with me and her mom made her cry and come home.

Dont try to sleep with her, assume sex isnt on the table until a few dates in, because I know youre not trying to just bang chicks who may leave you.

I know what moved in means. She just doesnt. I tell her she is only living here on paper.

I mean, the purpose of moving in was to escape her mom. She just feels bad leaving the narcissist, which will cause me to leave her in like a year (Im leaving the state in a year). Ive mentioned it already that I cant deal with her being as strong of a people pleaser as she is (or less nicely a doormat). Too many canceled events for silly reasons.

Kinda bugs me. Goal was for her to not hang around her abusive home, her mom makes her sleep in the same bed as her.

But, I now am in an apartment twice as big in my old one that she mostly furnished and am spending $200 less a month than the old place, which was already inexpensive.

Feel like Im a bad person, as I really dont need the money and she does, but its also her choice. She believes shes spending 5-6 days a week here. Im paying 5/8th of total expenses.

They have this mobile game Disney heroes.

As you progress in pvp, you get premium currency rewards.

When you made an account, Disney randomly assigned you to earn premium currency rewards with a multiplier of 50, 175, or 500 without telling you. I assume so they can research what level causes people to spend the most money on the game.

So some players are getting 10x more rewards than others. Based on nothing than what group they were assigned to.

This translates to about $200 more per month of premium currency given for freee to some players than others. On the same server on the same ranking board.

Ugh, fuck Disney. I was loving this game tooand ranked in top 25 in pvp while only spending $3 per month, but this makes me sick to keep playing. No wonder my power rank is so low.

Shes great to me. Ill never find someone who is as nice to me as she is when were together.

But... her mother treats her like Cinderella. Its pretty bad between the name calling and the ridiculous chores and errands. A month ago she moved in with me and pays 3/8 of the monthly expenses (I make more so decided a split it this way was fair and it still saves me money) but that is just staying over 3-4 nights a week because shes too scared to tell her mom shes moving out (and abling her to get away from her mom was basically why I asked her to move in). And shes scared her mom wouldnt let her see the family dogs afterwards.

She needs to please everyone. Random aquaintances. She freaked out she might have to join a church choir because her moms friend asked her to.

Its obnoxious. But, Im moving away in a year anyway. I can ride it out and enjoy my time with her, which is awesome. Or end it now. I know I should be supportive, but its getting harder to care when she wont do anything to help herself. Shes been in therapy for 10 years for this and even took her mom, but really if 10 years of therapy isnt helping then Im not sure what will.

I can't decide! I want to finish the story, I don't own any and would restart if I bought them all. Hmmm, I feel this is a good deal but at the same time of all the things I could spend $200 on, Naruto may not be what would be best. Idk, I have an extra $1000/month after all my expenses I usually just save.

This going from a student with low income to a resident income thing is hard to adjust to. I still feel bad spending money, even if I have it. I also want a PS4, but can't decide on a slim or a Pro. Probs a pro and a 4k TV eventually. Maybe black friday they'll be cheap?

Its not natural, because light bulbs and devices are unnatural. Natural is to wake up at sunrise and get ready for sleep sometime after at sunset.

Artificial lighting interferes with circadian rhythms, yes, but independent of that, some people just aren't morning people, and no amount of calling them lazy is going to change that.

Yeah, this is true. I feel the lazy-label happens because not lazy people see achievable rewards and desires which can be filled where lazy people dont.

Its common for grad students to work that much, though unnecessary. And have you met medical people? So many can play an instrument because we had families with lessons. Sometimes I wish I didn't had to worry about money. I mean, I don't want to be super rich just to be able to spend a lot, it's just that having a lot of money gets rid of the constant fear of messing up and having to say goodbye to my current lifestyle... which is kinda simple tbh. But then again I wonder... would I feel empty without that risk? Would life get boring (or rather, even more boring then what it is now)? For the sake of my own sanity, I like to think that's no the case. If I ever got to that point, I would enjoy the freedom of choice. I would put into practice all those projects that I don't have time to do now because of other obligations that wouldn't be there anymore. It doesn't need to be a big goal, just anything that looked like fun. Heck, even if it's just spending more time with my siblings - or even my whole family - would be enough.

Money indeed don't bring happiness. But in turn, it gives you the freedom to seek it without having to worry about stuff that gets in your way.

Yeah, I lost the risk and it feels empty. I had the same initial feelings. Once I pass my boards I hope I dont completely fall out emotionally. Im sure Ill find other things by then and Im just adjusting now. Never thought itd happen.

Whatre your thoughts on these? I dont know what to make of them other than they all bug me. The purpose of me asking her to move in was more to get her out of an abusive home situation, not necessarily to play house.

1. Im moving June 15th. Shes waiting until July 5th to move in so we could have 6 full months first.

2. She's planning on sleeping over 2 nights a week at her parents house, 15 minutes away.

3. Shes planning on going back to her parents place to do their laundry and clean and cook and do dishes and everything else twice a week.

4. She got on the waitlist to dental hygiene school which she's been trying to get into for a couple years. Historically everyone who gets on the waitlist gets in. She chose to not submit her letter to get on the waitlist. Reasoning: Not knowing if shell get in or not would stress her out too much.
