Just going by salary then 8.7%. But theyre raising rent by 13% this year, but also Im getting a 4% raise so overall itll be a net positive even after taxes.

I also get some bonuses and have a bit of money buying/selling and have about half a million invested, so not including any of that for simplicity.

Ive recently met a ton of people through board games so am lucky to have game nights a few nights a week, and my girlfriend is interested in co-op campaigns with good stories. Did some things like conventions and board game camping and have a friend starting to make it in the influencer scene. People have way too many games though and I cant say I like a lot of the hotness or playing a new game every week.

I actually bought a free games for life pledge a few years back from the company doing ES:BotSE so get the base game shipped to me for free.

Ive been more focused on deluxifying a couple favorite games then selling off a lot of my collection.

Theyre trying to reduce expenses by not rehiring when people leave, opposed to letting anyone go.

Read The Final Empire two weeks ago. My first Sanderson.

Read Annihilation last week. Havent seen the movie but I really liked the book. Was able to keep that nice mysterious psychedelic feel without ever getting stupid.

This weekend I started Well of Ascension and am deciding on doing the Southern Reach sequel or starting Murderbot. Ive made a few attempts at Malazan and Wheel of Time and some Mieville and Doctorow over the past few years but just didnt have the mindsetI tried reading fiction over the last few years but just couldnt bring myself to care.

Glad Im finally able to get back into it after maybe 6 years of nonfiction (after uncommonly reading nonfiction before). I do tend to flop around my tastes and media-forms, so this is probably just where Im going for the next year or so.

You get a good glimpse of what could be in the demo. Like the only mission that is kill the boss instead of kill every single enemy as a mission objective.

The RTSJRPG mixture was cool but, like I guess I did in old JRPGs, I just spammed Assassinate on every enemy after a status effect spell and could one-shot everything, two-shot for boss health barsand I did that for 20+ hours and very rarely used another attack.

Really hope to see another game with a similar system thats more fleshed out. So many things wrong with diofield, but cool idea.

l can get obsessed with management games but also tend to not go too deep. Two Point Hospital was probably the most in depth one Ive played. think anno will translate well to the console?

I dont really understand travel and am content with my current social life and amount of time I get for hobbies. I dont really want to sell it, but idk how Id use it. I did go to Hawaii last year and it was fun, but also kinda a hassle and I missed my cat a lot.

My girlfriend isnt really into travel. I do like going back to see family, but going 1-3 times a year is really enough for me.

And it feels bad just taking the time off to play video games, like I shouldve worked and got the money. But I dont want to sell my days.

But really, travel? Does anyone else find it more hassle than its really worth in time/effort?

If it gives me motion sickness thatll be one expensive mistake.
