Its not natural, because light bulbs and devices are unnatural. Natural is to wake up at sunrise and get ready for sleep sometime after at sunset.

Artificial lighting interferes with circadian rhythms, yes, but independent of that, some people just aren't morning people, and no amount of calling them lazy is going to change that.

Yeah, this is true. I feel the lazy-label happens because not lazy people see achievable rewards and desires which can be filled where lazy people dont.

According to my city's municipal code, within the residential area we are limited to a dBA of 55 from 7am to 10pm and 50 dBA from 10pm to 7am. 50 seems reasonable for that time period but 55 is really low. I think a lawn mower is already about 100 dBA.

I personally tend to wait until 9-10am before mowing the lawn anyway. I figure by then most people would be awake.

I guess that would work for certain months. But its gonna be really hot. In one neighborhood I lived it, they did it around 7 or so during the summer. But all the guys usually did it on the same day at the same time in the morning... usually... It worked out ok. And nobody wanted to be in the heat later than afternoon...

Not sure any place really codifies it, but it's kind of a dick move to start mowing before 10am or 11am on a weekend. Weekdays, maybe 6am or 7am. I'm not sure I've ever heard somebody mowing or building in the morning on a weekday, though.

Pretty much this. I'm not usually up super early but if I am I'll wait to be noisy until then.

The loudest thing I do is music but my basement is sound treated to the point that you won't hear much unless you're right outside the house so I don't worry about that.

Mowing the lawn? I'll do that at like 730 during the summer cus it's usually too hot after 10ish

Personally I prefer mowing the lawn in the late morning or afternoon when I know the grass is dry. Makes it easier to sweep up and clean the lawn mower. There are a few times I got lazy though and ended up mowing the lawn in the twilight hours of 6-7pm.

I would say 8AM is acceptable, weekday or weekend.

I usually wait until afternoon though, dealing with wet grass is annoying. Hard to clean up and can clog up the mower. The heat doesn't bother me much, all I am doing is walking behind it. Not doing any actual work.
