Black Lives Matter is trying to bring awareness to issues specifically regarding injustices against blacks and what should be done.

I don't see it as much different than breast cancer awareness. People wanting others to be more aware of breast cancer and prevention doesn't diminish lung cancer and prevention. I wouldn't shout out about #AllCancersMatter each October.

It's just outrage culture and people who are outraged in either direction are being controlled by orgs with some pull of the strings of tens to hundreds of millions of people.

She shouldn't be decrowned for this. She's also hot. She should be able to stay here, she can get another job. Idk what the time limit is for her getting another job.

That makes sense. In my mind a corporation like Apple was buying all of his shares at once, but splitting it up would definitely cause a drop before he could sell all.

I actually dont understanding selling stock plummeting the value that quickly. I do understand if he sold half then it would plummet the next day, but not that he cant sell it all and get the value and no longer have his company. But he has to find someone willing to buy which would then lower the price because of the news hes selling maybe?

I guess stocks work different at that point. I just put money into my account and hit the buy button and the sell button, indexing all the way. (I dont actually hit the sell button)

Going to second this here, my gf spends about $400 a month on food for both of us ($200 each) and that includes eating out and also eating nice meals at home. We do not eat 3k calories/day, closer to 1.5-2k calories.

There needs to be a lower class or else society wouldnt work. The faster thats accepted the faster we can start helping others. Anything we do to try to stop the rich theyll find a way around anyway.

The emphasis shouldnt be on less wealth inequality but teaching people how to live better with what they have. I am at like 98-99th percentile for my age and spend like someone making 20th percentile for my age...I have less stress though Because I have money for emergency healthcare. I could easily reduce my expenses by quite a bit still. A few years ago I was spending just 10k a year living alone and still happy. This is a developed skill, and we should help people optimize their money and be able to live safe, fulfilling, and healthy lives.

This would be difficult in a HCOL, but we should make more communities that support those with low income and give them good opportunities. More libraries with fun events, high speed internet access, a very nice meal a few times a year, transportation, make sure they dont get taken advantage of by employers.

The personal finance community is great. Everyone has secret identities like Mr. Money Mustache or Mad Fientist and write some high quality blog posts about money and happiness/satisfaction analysis is pretty common.

compared to cost of business. Cash flow seems to be like 1/3 of the cost to buy the business for most of these.

Break even in three years, so I wonder why theyre being sold. Im wondering if local legal issues will cause them to have to shut down in the future...but I guess people sell their businesses all the time and having cash flow 1/3 of the business cost seems pretty typical for when buying a blog also. Or I guess there could be mafia issues.

Yeah, thats for a day but really rent Saturday morning and turn in Sunday night and you basically get two days for $3 which is enough for most campaigns if youre not playing RPGs or something. They commonly have coupons of some sort too, so usually its even less than $3.

Or its 3 nights for $7 which is like four days, but Im more on the one day rentals.

SmartGo Kifu app does a good job of explaining the basic rules and formations. Has a tutorial with 100 or so practice problems.

Definitely under 1 in 10, probably closer to 1 in 20, maybe even lower.

Its hard to get use to the disconnect between rules and strategy.

It really can't be stressed how important the 2020 election is. Even before Trump was president, it was going to be incredibly important just for being a Census year. Republicans won in 2010, won in 2000, won in 1990, and they're damn sure going to win in 2030 since it's not a presidential election and Democratic voters have the attention span of gold fish. If Dems lose in 2020, they're basically going to be shut out of state level government for the next several decades thanks to Republicans perfecting gerrymandering w/ modern technology.
Plus you know...Ruth Bader Ginsburg would probably like to retire...
