Im a physicist and have a math degree. Professionally I dont go beyond some geometry/algebra and even thats rare.

Its very good to understand concepts of math and it helps expand how you think, but you dont actually have to be able to do the math to understand concepts of something like epsilon delta definition of a limit or sets.

Yes, its my first purple.

Im 66 and definitely have issues with my feet hanging off the bed if I am laying straight. I usually angle myself slightly to resolve this mixed with laying pretty high up on the bed with the pillow being partially on the headboard.

Of course i buy it then go out of town the same day so wont get to try it for a week. Got it no warranty so basically i have to like it. Whats with mattress culture being about returning mattresses 2-3x until you find the perfect mattress for you? Ive been happy with pretty much any mattress in the past. Even my current mattress Im fine with, girlfriend just complaining about it. It it like 10-14 years old or something though.

Starting a month or two ago, if your kindle is connected to Wi-Fi, all new USB
-loaded books will be checked out and have their covers forcibly removed before they will display, coverless, on your kindle. You have to then update metadata a second time for it to work (assuming thats what calibre is doing).

But, books load just fine on airplane mode. Only when you connect to internet it starts.

This is scary that amazon is willing to do this to promote their own book sales.

Think it works well without prior KH knowledge? I came to 3 after 1, 2, and some in between and disliked how convoluted it all got.

I have a couple friends who subscribe. The girls will give you some personalized content, and it's a more personal experience.

I'm too tight with money to participate in anything like that, subscriptions suck.

Waiting lists are very long over here on the NHS. Not a surprise but even seeing a doctor face to face is hard. I don't know what to suggest about this condition Blu. I hope she finds something that can help while she waits for medical attention.

Pretty much just heating pads. Tried a tens unit and I got her a theragun, but both very temporary relief. The pain is getting worse but she's better at knowing to avoid, but she's been in bed ever since we got back from our hawaii trip. Physical stressed triggered a long-forming issue of bad disk pinching a nerve. Probably needs one of those shots that are like surgeries.

Jen it's weird to make this about income, especially when I only make like 90th percentile which isn't anything crazy unusual.

But honestly never thought of going outside insurance. Good idea, but it's at a point it can be approved any day and she keeps calling the clinic she went to back and keeps being unable to contact anyone. She just needs to get in contact and ask the status and all that.

She went to the doctor, its taking forever to get an mri insurance authorization now. She keeps calling in. Tried a chiropractor but not helping.

Her back hurts and she's been off work and bedridden with pain for nearly a month now.

The job offer is 200k so I can def afford it and my current job should go up to a bit over that in a year, but also it would be nice just having the extra money in a lower cost area. Especially since I get 8-13 less days off a year out here than in my current job.

This is my second real vacation ever, and even then the motives arent really vacation. The first real vacation was a trip to Disney World with parents in the 8th grade.

Ive only done like weekend trips to see family or go to NYC or DC and such and never used PTO for them. Im not here for too long though.

Have a job offer and taking the trip to decide on moving or not. Staying in Waikiki since its close to the job. I dont really like crowds or high costs, but do really enjoy water activities and doing things type activities and less seeing things type activities.

Excitement for sure. With the cost of living, moving costs, and less days off (get 38 now, theyre offering 25) Im getting apprehensive about the job, but also kinda hoping I get quickly won over by the location. Well see how it goes!

Turned down a job on Maui some time ago, it just didnt pan out well and I mishandled the situation.

Shes always up until like 2-3 AM day before we need to be up at 5 AM then gets sick from the lack of sleep.
