Otomedius. Im a huge Gradius fan, and uh. This game did not deliver. Not only is it the easiest game in the who franchise, spinoffs llke Parodius, Twinbee, Salamnder etc included, but it was that gross kind of 2010s loli garbage. This game sucked.

I grew up and went to school in Vegas. Some of those kids were straight up psychotic and the schools would hardly do anything about them. We had death threats and lock downs in our school for violence.

I really hate the trend in games where characters stand there and talk at you with like 50 lines of dialogue. And nothing they say is interesting. Im looking at every western game in the last ten years, and also modern Pokemon and Persona 5.

People really getting nostalgic for Adventure recently, but forget that it is very unfinished towards the end, and it shows. The game needed more time to cook, because it feels like it could have been better. I loved a lot of it as a teen though. Looked and sounded amazing back then.

Assault had some good moments, but was bogged down by really repetitive and shallow on foot missions.

Zero is actually really good, but some of the control issues REALLY mess it up. Game needs a remake fast.

I actually really like 2. It is pretty hectic when you play it for rank. It is difficult and demands a lot of thinking for efficiency.

I did t like the psp TOLUCT. It was really unbalanced the whole class system felt jank.

Yeah thats one of my least favorite. If the entire plot could have been solved by a 5 minute conversation then its quite annoying. Its rare it can be used in a good way. Tucker and Dale is really the only time I can think of it was used as a positive.

I remember when Netflix was the only good streaming service, prices were super cheap, and they had pretty much everything on it.

Speak and write the language, have a career thats beneficial to their society thats decent pay to start, and then it wouldnt hurt to teach English while looking for jobs related to your career once you get there.

You need a BS to even be allowed to work there.

English is strict here but it isnt taken seriously. English is studied for tests. Kids really dont retain much of it unless they seek outside sources. You know, cause languages reburie output, and nobody speaks English here.

Realistically, you need to either have family out here, or have a bachelors degree to even legally think about living here. Bachelors degree will get you stuff like English teacher. There are some IT jobs too. Unless you REALLY love English though, you wont make a career out of it. The Japanese education system basically sabotages language education just by following tradition. Japan is not a flexible country or culture, and this reflects in education.

And if you are even CONSIDERING coming here to find a relationship, Im just gonna laugh. Western and Japanese ideals on relationships dont mesh well, and if you think youll make it because you are a foreigner, well. Youre in for a surprise. Be prepared to be a pet foreigner. If you think anime stereotypes or yamato nadeshiko is real, forget it. Women are sick of that crap and hate foreigners with that mindset.

TLDR: you cant set foot in here to work unless you have a BS degree. Unless you actually have passion in those fields needed in Japan (English education, IT), you wont last.

I played the psp remake and hated it. It was slow, janky, the AI wasted all their mo at the start of battle (and you have mostly mages at the beginning) and the story progression is rarely clear on what to do next if you stop for a while. Also, it never really explains ehat most of the skills, like writing, are for.

Does this remake address those problems? Cause i felt there must have been a good game in there somewhere,

Mostly good. Has some cringe moments, sometimes it feels like the dialogue is stilted, has too much filler with characters who arent interesting in the beginning and the rest arc in the middle, and it is kind of rushed at the end, but it is mostly good, has some surprisingly fun lore, and I like anything involving the aliens.

Stay away from the fanbase.

Theres plenty of stuff to gotcha with Trump, but this aint it. Dont be like him
