Nicholas Cage is not a good actor. More specifically maybe I should say he doesn't have a lot of range. I like a lot of stuff he was in and some of his 90s/early 2000s stuff is a large part of my childhood like Con Air, Face Off, The Rock, Raising Arizona (80s), even It Could Happen to You, and stuff that a lot of people have never heard of like Trapped In Paradise. Shit, I even wore my VHS copy of Raising Arizona out as a kid. I even enjoyed some of the stuff where he tried to be more serious like The Weather Man. As many of the movies of his that I could think of off the top of my head that I enjoyed you wouldn't expect me to really have anything bad to say about him. And I can't quit put my finger on why I don't think he's good. It's partly because it feels like every character is mostly the same with the same mannerisms and stuff. I haven't spent a lot of time figuring out why. The 8bitdo Pro is a great controller BTW. I use it for my handheld emulator (Retroid Pocket) when the handheld is outputting to my TV and hook two up to play 2P games. I really enjoyed it. I really liked Major Dad (Gerald McRaney) in the third season. The third season kind of ended on a weird spot so I'm guessing they didn't know it was the last season. DragonRealms was my first MMO-type game that I played. That was back when all there was was AOL and you had to use keywords to get to a site instead of a web address. It was a TEXT BASED multi-player RPG game that people call MUDs today. I actually still go back every now and then. I started playing in like 97 or 98. More traditional MMO: Probably Everquest 1. Started that a little while before EQ2 came out so I wanna say I started playing in 2003 or so. Windows wasn't a thing, this was back in the mid to late 80s. While I had to know a little about DOS the only commands I remember are dir/p or something to show all the contents of a disc and then starting the exe file.
It was an IBM I remember that. It had a "turbo" Button that I don't know what it did. You're right though in that it's different with this one. You're infected in seconds so there's no time to travel around to different areas. The whole infection would have had to radiate out from that lab. Because again, people didn't have time to get bit and take a flight home starting their own clusters of infection. | WrkHrdPlayHrdr 03/04/24 2:29:12 PM #19 | I'm not a big fan of emulators for consoles that are still putting out games. Like I wouldn't mess around with PS4/PS5 or Switch emulation. I love my Retroid Pocket, and even if it can play some Switch stuff I won't put Switch on it.
And I think that's how Nintendo views it too. They aren't going after Dolphin which does Gamecube / Wii. It's kind of like the whole Mother 3 fan translation thing. They know about it. Employees, and high up ones of Nintendo have talked about it. But they aren't going after it. If you had to call in and say I am having emergency surgery and I'll miss today, sorry. That's a sick day. If you then say "I'll also need Tuesday and Wednesday off" those would be vacation days since you're doing it ahead of time. But each job can differ how they use them. My advice would be to spray in the early morning when it's the coolest. That's when most/all of the wasps are at the nest so you can kill them all. That should help a little bit with them just moving to another location right away. They are also less aggressive when it is cool outside. Yeah where I live, it's like 80F-85F at dawn in the summer but it works. This might help a bit. I would spray at sundown and then again when I got home from work the next day at sundown.Maybe the long period gave them a little time to get up a partial nest to protect the queen from my second spray. We get paper wasp nest around our house every spring/summer. We just use wasp spray to kill the wasps and then knock down the nest with a broom stick or something. Yeah, that's what I've been doing. It's a pain because I'll spray and they just move from location to location around my house. So I'm out there spraying like every other day all summer. How high is your house? Sometimes it helps to get a pressure pump and spraying house bleach/clorox and then pressure wash all around the exterior of your house. high enough that a good spray insecticide in those metal bottles will reach. But also high enough that I would need a ladder to get up to that height to do anything serious. They build up in an area above my deck, all the eaves of the house, and under my deck and it can get risky trying to walk in the front door. I also worry about people walking along the road since they wasps roam there there.
I'm looking for something preventative against the wasps if that's a thing. And I don't mean the whole "hang a paper bag and it will scare them off" because that isn't true and didn't do shit. I want something that WORKS.
