The FF14 new expansion collectors edition bonus content is all FF9 themed and they haven't announced why. That kind of leads me to think it's going to happen to. Unless the new expansion is heavily FF9 themed but I wouldn't think that's the case.

They don't look anything like what Tom and Jerry made them look like with the nice little perfectly shaped archways.

It seems like we already were going to have altered the way we measure time. And according to the second quote the melting ice actually pushed this time frame back from 2026 to 2029?

There are times after I buy a game where I just want to spend 10 or 20 minutes with it to get a basic idea of what the game is like. I will skip cutscenes then and watch them when I go to fully play that game.

All games should have the ability to skip cutscenes.

I can't imagine letting a website full of bots and people who think their opinions are the greatest thing in the world dictate how I feel about something as frivolous as Doordash.

Also I switched from Verizon to GoogleFi and save like 100 bucks a month on my bill with 3 people. Maybe not the subscription you are looking for but I'm happy I moved away from a larger carrier.

GeForce Now is possibly worth it depending on a few things.

For 20 bucks a month (at the most expensive), and with a decent internet connection, you can stream a bunch of different games on a virtual PC using a 4080 video card. I was amazed at how well it worked and how great it looked. There was no input lag either. Like it was super impressive. It's good for people who can't afford a gaming PC. 20 bucks a month is a lot more doable than 1200 or more upfront. You do need to own the game though so there is still that cost. I used it for a few months when my old PC wasn't cutting it anymore and I wanted to play some newer stuff. I since built a new PC and don't need this service anymore.

There is a cheaper plan for 10 bucks a month but there is sometimes a queue to get in at that tier.

There is also a free tier but there is always a line to get in and yes, it is free, but it's a pain with the line.

There are a couple issues with the service though. There's an AFK timer that kicks you out after a short period, which I get the need for since they don't want people taking up their machines just to sit AFK forever in a game. The other negative is that it isn't available for every game that is released. Publishers need to opt in and more and more are doing that lately so I'm sure the selection will get better.

Nicholas Cage is not a good actor. More specifically maybe I should say he doesn't have a lot of range. I like a lot of stuff he was in and some of his 90s/early 2000s stuff is a large part of my childhood like Con Air, Face Off, The Rock, Raising Arizona (80s), even It Could Happen to You, and stuff that a lot of people have never heard of like Trapped In Paradise. Shit, I even wore my VHS copy of Raising Arizona out as a kid. I even enjoyed some of the stuff where he tried to be more serious like The Weather Man.

As many of the movies of his that I could think of off the top of my head that I enjoyed you wouldn't expect me to really have anything bad to say about him. And I can't quit put my finger on why I don't think he's good. It's partly because it feels like every character is mostly the same with the same mannerisms and stuff.

I haven't spent a lot of time figuring out why. It's just something that's been floating around in my head for a little while.

He's pro whatever he thinks will get him elected.

Maybe I should have bought a few shares when they offered entry to that program.

Really the only one I remember is Lowered Expectations and even then I just remember the intro with the "Lowered Expecationsssss"

The picture was of a 3+. The 4 Pro is great though. I put one together for a buddy and I was impressed with the Gamecube/PS2 performance. I'm going to be upgrading to a 4 pro before too long I think.

The version shown is great. There is one that's a little more expensive that will play most PS2 and Gamecube backups. I've put together some of these for nephews, friends, and as raffle prizes for a nerd charity gaming event.

I tried to play the first one several years ago and didn't enjoy it. This second one looks fun though after watching a few reviews. I was thinking about getting it. I've heard people mention there's no real fast travel system aside from horse and carriage rides or something. Then I saw this.

The 8bitdo Pro is a great controller BTW. I use it for my handheld emulator (Retroid Pocket) when the handheld is outputting to my TV and hook two up to play 2P games. I also use it as a PC controller for the one or two games I played with a controller.

I'm excited to listen to this one since I don't have a good overall grasp on the thing. Like I know people want it done, I know that some places were predatory but that's all I know. Time for some learnin.

I actually watched it for the first time the other week at the recommendation of a buddy. There's 3 seasons and a movie.

I really enjoyed it. I really liked Major Dad (Gerald McRaney) in the third season. The third season kind of ended on a weird spot so I'm guessing they didn't know it was the last season.

My one complaint is that they use the same actor for two different characters in back to back seasons and it caused me some confusion about if they were the same character or not just using fake names.

DragonRealms was my first MMO-type game that I played. That was back when all there was was AOL and you had to use keywords to get to a site instead of a web address. It was a TEXT BASED multi-player RPG game that people call MUDs today. I actually still go back every now and then. I started playing in like 97 or 98.

More traditional MMO: Probably Everquest 1. Started that a little while before EQ2 came out so I wanna say I started playing in 2003 or so. Then I switched to EQ2.

It had 8 megs of ram or something because the sales person told my dad that was all that would ever be needed. Windows wasn't a thing, this was back in the mid to late 80s. While I had to know a little about DOS the only commands I remember are dir/p or something to show all the contents of a disc and then starting the exe file.

It was an IBM I remember that.

It had a "turbo" Button that I don't know what it did.

My very first video game might have been Alley Cat on that computer on a 5.25" floppy.

18 then moved back home at 19 after we got kicked out of our apartment over a search warrant that turned out to invalid after the fact.

This looks like they might have nailed it and I am hyped.

The only bad thing is Walton Goggins, and it's an irrational opinion thing. I know people love him. It's just one of those things where you look at someone and know you don't like them. Like they have a punchable face. That's how I feel about him. That said though, his acting as I've seen in other shows of his, will probably perfectly match the tone of this show and he may be amazing in it.

Still wish this came out on Mondays. The whole flow of my week has been fucked up the last couple weeks and I blame this.
