Not really. I played a lot of SNES emulation 20 years ago, but not so much now.

I've played a bunch of Wii U Games, including Twilight Princess HD and Xenoblade Chronicles X

I do not own a Wii U, nor have I ever owned one

Not very often, but I have some on my laptop.

My steam deck is configured to run the popular and obscure platforms.

I used to but have since shifted over to the actual consoles using ODEs/flash carts on a CRT.

I got a Miyoo Mini+ recently, and really looking into getting a Rretroid Pocket 4 Pro now

I'm too stupid to figure them out past like SNES

The version shown is great. There is one that's a little more expensive that will play most PS2 and Gamecube backups. I've put together some of these for nephews, friends, and as raffle prizes for a nerd charity gaming event.

@Crimsoness Does it do the split screen pretty well? Reason I'm looking into the 4 is for the GameCube and PS2 support, but also want to play some DS and 3DS games because its basically impossible to get an in-shape 3DS nowadays.

Yes, mostly because Nintendo seems to refuse to port some of their games to the Switch.

Yes, but less and less as time goes on. I end up buying the retail digital versions of the games and then I don't need the rom version anymore.

If they ever release the Game Gear games "Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya" and "Crystal Warriors" on the Switch I won't need a Genesis emulator anymore.

@Samurai_Man Yah it does it does vertical split screen and it's not a terrible size. I'll try to get a picture when I get home

RetroArch is a real game-changer on Android

Fuck yeah. Finished Ecclesia on DS and Ridge Racer 2 on PSP (or at least, where the difficulty spikes pretty damn hard). I'd like to get started on dozens and dozens of SRPGs I downloaded but nothing can hold my attention long enough yet

Not at the moment, but off and on since the late 90s.

Not super often but yes.

Of course. Mostly for Switch games these days, as theres no reason to use my Switch for <30 FPS at 720p when I can dump my games and emulate them at 60 FPS at 1440p.

Sometimes, yeah. Mostly for my old PS1 games when I want a nostalgia trip. I did another playthrough of Megaman Legends and Brave Fencer Musashi in 2022.

A lot of emulators are better than the real thing, so even though I have a number of older consoles, I emulate them instead.

Pretty much the same.

All my stuff is stored up and I'm digging it all back out just to play a game or two.

Sometimes play a Mega Man hack or something.

Being able to save state or go back in time is so clutch

I don't want to go into the attic to grab my old consoles and games any time I feel like playing Earthbound or something.

Its amazing they made most SNES games into browser games too

Ocassionally, when I'm in the mood to play older games. I mostly play games on steam.

The picture was of a 3+. The 4 Pro is great though. I put one together for a buddy and I was impressed with the Gamecube/PS2 performance. I'm going to be upgrading to a 4 pro before too long I think.
