I understand what happened even less now. They're saying she was actually inside the elevator and it just dropped to the basement.

Unless she was caught in the opening and had her middle crushed, by half of her being in the falling elevator or smthng.

My understanding is that she was in the elevator when it dropped. Looks like the fall caused blunt chest trauma which triggered the traumatic asphyxia resulting in her death.

I think you can fight him now if you want to. You get a free deathblow from dropping overhead. Use firecrackers on him. Also, Gokan's Sugar reduces posture damage if I remember correctly. Just block, use firecrackers, attack while he's stunned, and run away to refill your posture or health.

Nintendo released a software update for Nintendo Switch on Monday, and while most of the changes are under-the-hood system stability improvements, one tweak will be noticeable to folks trying to make new user accounts or send messages.

According to Nintendo modder and tinkerer OatmealDome, Ver. 10.2.0 expands the number of banned words on the platform, including terms such as KKK, slave, nazi, and ACAB. The ban list also includes terms such as coronavirus and COVID. Polygon tested these words out while making a new user on a Nintendo Switch lite and found that while they resulted in a warning message, the acronym BLM was allowed by the system. Most of these words seem to be a response to the current political moment in America.

Previously, the homebrew scene released a list of words banned on the portable Nintendo 3DS system, and it included curious terms such as buttnuggets and analintruder. This year, Nintendo made a statement that said the company stands with the Black community and all those who recognize our shared humanity and fundamental belief in equity and justice, reportedly even double matching employee donations to related causes.

I don't expect FF7R to be any more than 3 games. Any more than that would likely be diminishing returns for Square Enix. It'll be interesting how they do Wutai since it got a bigger focus in Part 1. Same goes for the larger towns such as Gold Saucer and Junon.

As for XVI, I wouldn't mind a return to high fantasy. We already have the VIIR games so let's have something with a different atmosphere. Personally, I wouldn't want something similar to VIIR's combat. Even though it's superb, I'd rather see if Square Enix can come up with something else in order to keep the gameplay fresh.

It was a hard video to watch. Its probably one of the worse suicides Ive seen. I only bothered to watch it because eventually, some edgy loser would spam it somewhere I would see it. Might as well just get it over with.

I wish Ronnie McNutt had sought help as well. Suicide is not the answer to anyones problems. Speaking from my own experience throughout the years, people can recover or at least learn how to effectively cope. Life wont be perfect nor will it ever be. I became much better after my ordeal yet I still have real bad days. This past week was a nightmare where all I could think about was suicide but Im slowly regaining my footing again. Its a never ending battle for people like me but I truly think its better than being dead.

Hopefully, McNutt has found peace.

Men tend to go with methods that have higher chances of success. Hanging is like an 89% chance of death. Bullet to the brain via shotgun is a 99%. Pistol is a 97%.

Meanwhile, taking a bunch of countertop pills has a 12% chance if I remember correctly. Slitting wrists has a 6% chance of killing you. Slitting wrists actually hurts like a motherfucker and it takes a while to kill.

A big mistake CE makes is the belief that everyone holds the same knowledge they have regarding video games. Casual people don't know shit about console specs or any of those details. All they know is brand image. Going to the store during holiday season and seeing the PS5 is fairly self explanatory for even the dumbest of people. Going to the store and seeing Xbox One X, Xbox One S, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X is going to confuse so many soccer moms that it's not even funny. Wii U to Switch has proven the power of successful marketing and brand image.

Besides, all this talk of gamepass, a majority of people are still going to only use these consoles as Call of Duty, Fifa, Madden, and NBA 2K machines only. Throw in whatever streaming service such as Netflix or Disney+, too. Casual people will flock to whatever they are familiar with and whatever their friends buy. Weebs will flock to PlayStation because Xbox still has no presence in Japan despite Phil Spencer's best efforts. A majority of the world will still flock to PlayStation because Xbox has no presence in so many countries.

Yes, console sales matters. Let's not pretend they do not. Yes, exclusives matter. Most people aren't the type who wait 2+ years to play a video game. If all of their friends are playing it at the moment, they will cave and purchase because they either want to join in on the discussion or play with their friends if it's a multiplayer game. You have to keep in mind the general public's perspective. Seeing things only from an enthusiast mindset will hold you back.

Cloud is fine in the remake. Like others said, he tries to act cool but he comes off as a dork which the other characters play off of. I love the character interactions in the remake honestly. Can't wait to see what the devs do with the other characters when they are introduced. Yuffie used to talk about messing with Red XIII a lot but we never really saw that in the original game. Remake is the perfect opportunity to build better relationships between these characters.

I'll give the writers this. They really nailed the characters in FF7 Remake so far.

Back at my first job, there was a coworker who kept asking me to hook him up with a drug dealer. He thought I was into that kind of stuff because of my skin color. He also liked to go around sniffing the asses of other male employees and making chewing motions with his mouth when doing so. Just about everyone hated him until he quit.

Nintendo Enthusiast recently spoke with the leads on Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory at Square Enix, including Producer Ichiro Hazama, Co-Director Masanobu Suzui, and Franchise Director and Character Designer Tetsuya Nomura. Melody of Memory is the first game in the franchise to arrive on Nintendo Switch, so naturally we had to inquire about whether more Kingdom Hearts Switch games were on the way, be it ports of existing games or new titles. The answer is simultaneously disappointing and exciting.

Through a translator, Tetsuya Nomura confirmed there are currently no specific plans for more Kingdom Hearts games on Switch. Square Enix did consider ports of existing games for Switch in the past but found that it was technologically difficult. However, Nomura added that he believes Nintendo Switch is a very appealing piece of hardware and he had always wanted to do something on this console. Additionally, while he cannot speak for games at Square Enix that he isnt associated with, Nomura did express that it is possible another game of his could come to Switch.

The tone and phrasing of the translation made it sound like it is quite possible, in fact, but its safest never to over-read into a situation. The bottom line is that the likelihood of more Kingdom Hearts on Switch is uncertain, but the likelihood of more Tetsuya Nomura games on Switch might be better than we had thought.

I'm not sure about The One but back in the 360 days, everyone was a raging asshole. Playstation and Nintendo players, aside from Smash, are much more chill and friendly in my experience. This even translates to real life for me. Everyone I personally know who mains PS4 or the Switch are super friendly and great. Meanwhile, the Xbox players I personally know are garbage people who will talk shit about your dead relatives.

Almost every major story beat in Mass Effect 3 is laughable and an example of poor writing. The genophage went from being somewhat justified to being Either cure it or youre an ass. The Geth who had displayed a resemblance of depth in the previous game were reduced to a Disneys Pinocchio tier story. Your decisions on the situation with the Rachni queen didnt matter. In fact, your decisions from the previous games dont matter.

Mass Effect 1 introduces a concept and tells us how to feel about it. Mass Effect 2 provides the player with another viewpoint to demonstrate the complexity of said concept. Mass Effect 3 takes that concept and simplifies it to an insulting level.

Dont even get me started on the stupid shit that is Kai Leng, everything involving Cerberus, the McGuffin that is the Crucible, and the horrendous ending. BioWare didnt even try with the writing in ME3.

i'm playing through the ME trilogy again right now and this definitely isn't true. in fact at this point i'd argue that 2 is the worst. it was a travesty how they completely gutted all RPG aspects of ME and made it into almost a straight-up cover based third-person shooter.

the skill trees were abysmal in ME2. the inventory system was tedious in 1, yeah, but instead of trying to make it better they literally just got rid of it entirely in favor of "loadouts". the mission-based structure is just stupid and has no place whatsoever in a game that purports to be an RPG. the thermal clip shit was one of the most blatant and immersion-breaking retcons ever, serving solely to make it play more like a typical shooter and using a lore excuse that makes absolutely no sense under scrutiny.

and to top it off, the plot in 2 is extremely barebones and mostly a rehash of the plot of 1, just with the Collectors in place of the Geth, and the plot missions themselves feel almost like an afterthought, since the vast majority of the missions are recruitment and loyalty missions for a ridiculous bloated roster of squadmates which went for quantity over quality.

it's time to admit it, folks. ME2 is the real low point of the series.

Mass Effect 3 is still worse due to its dogshit writing.
