Also in Cuyahoga. DeWine doesn't know what to do anymore.

And the above poster is right. Without Amy Acton all hope is lost.

If you treat states as countries, the list of the top 24 countries in new cases per capita has 22 states.

Im in Montgomery. Plenty of people still are not taking this as seriously as they should be. I had a friend who just traveled to Texas for a fucking Steelers game and hasnt quarantined since getting back.

I'm having a hard time putting it in words.

So America is obv number 1 in new cases per capita.

When I saw the data, 2 was Luxembourg and I don't remember 3.

But if we split America into individual states, Luxembourg drops to like #22 on that list, underneath all the individual states.

North and South Dakota were 1 and 2, I think.

We were the first county to get a star way back when this started but we've been back to red for a while now. Honestly don't know how we don't at least have a star or gone purple yet, our numbers are atrocious every day. >_>

Live in Cleveland, work in Medina (a suburb south of Cleveland). Yeah... people really aren't taking any of this seriously. People are still having gatherings and often not wearing masks in public. This map doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

I work in Dayton at a smaller company of about 20-25 people and I think nearly half of us have tested positive at some point since this started. And its not like it spread through each other really, just seems like someone gets it from a random job site/family member and then a month later someone else who hasnt even been around the previous person has it.

Yeah, its rare to go anywhere and not see a ton of people either completely maskless or wearing it under their nose. Although I haven't been out much since the "extra special" mask mandate. But *most* stores thus far aren't really enforcing it very hard, and stores that do try just have workers getting yelled at, etc. I'm glad I don't work retail, but my wife does... they are really strict at her store but they always get people outraged that they are enforcing the mandate there. It's inside a mall, I don't know why the mall isn't responsible to make people comply upon entering so individual store owners aren't under attack constantly.

Resturants carryout only. No in person schooling. All non essential buisness shuttered again. Massive wealth tax on wealthy individuals to provide state stimulus checks.

Natuonal guard fully deployed enforcing shutdowns of problematic businesses, preventing large gatherings, keeping uncooperative Covid positive people in their homes, and enforcing masks at grocery stores/actually essential businesses.

This shit is weird af to me. Most people hate Dewine shutting things down but are perfectly happy with a county by county basis which just a quick glance at that map results in pretty much the same thing.

Living in Cleveland is especially weird with this. In what world will mandates not effect us in the near future?

It's weird to me how things are so much worse now than when we kinda/sorta sheltered in place in April but everyone is just like "okay whatever" and doesn't seem to care anymore.

We've been told at work to expect sooner than later that we'll probably be closed to the public again.
