Yeah, they got hacked and the hacker leaked the source code for the website.

They also got hold of all the user info and passwords which is slightly worrying.

I had to change a lot of passwords the other day.

I'm gonna talk about hentai now if that's okay with you guys.

Tis a sad day today because 2 of the biggest repositories for high res, fully uncensored, translated hentai manga got shut down.

Which is ironic considering it was Fakku which initiated the shutdown and the site itself BEGAN as a free site to upload fan translated h-manga, before the owner wanted to make more money by going "legit."

I'm reminded of that batman quote "you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain."

RIP cafe and nexus you shall be missed.

In other degenerate news, a new h-anime series was released and translated recently, brought to you by the consistently top quality studio Bunnywalker.

It's called Ijirare Fuskushuu Saimin and I wanted to talk about the implications and nuances of the plot of an h-anime of all things.

So the premise is, if you haven't seen it. is that a guy is being bullied by three girls, and he gets a chance to hypnotize them as a form of revenge. Now normally, in these sort of stories, you'd expect him to just turn the girls in mindless sex dolls, but the unique thing about this is he instead implants the idea that "boys don't like it when they're targeted by sexual acts by girls they don't love" and that doing sexual acts to him would be considered humiliating and torturing him.

I've seen some discussions on whether this should be categorised as rape or not, and I wanted to hear your guys thoughts on this.

According to this, it looks like the game would be comparable to RF4 in terms of story content and volume.

Which is sorta impressive since I expected the extra work in making the game in 3d would draw resources away from the development of other areas, given the size of the dev studio. So happy to hear that it'll be just as big as 4.

Curious to see how they improve the farming from 4 though. The farming in that game was pretty in-depth considering the different soil stats you have to manage.

All in all, hype levels are still through the roof!

I'm strictly in the "wait until the game is on sale or has an all DLC included version" camp, but this will be a day one buy for sure!

Within the context, it's certainly a very different Japan since iirc Kagome's modern Japan was yokai-free.

It certainly opens up the argument if Time Travel can be isekai.

And not like "Back to the Future" time travel where it's only a few decades.

I'm talking like a couple millennia, where the technology and culture is so different it might as well be an alien planet.

It sounds like the anime and manga are pretty different for Horimiya. Like when people mentioned melodrama I was confused, because I don't remember any in the manga at all.

There was a bit at the beginning but yeah, the manga now is basically slice of life/comedy shenanigans.

Like WOW, you can actually see the emotions on their face. And I'm not talking about the prerendered hotkeyed "emotion" face. It's in the small details like the way her eyes moved up when she "ugh, gawd", and how the cheeks slightly puffed at one point; the level of detail and tracking on this rig is absurd.

And this is from an indie vtuber! Imagine what it'll be like if the big corps like Hololive or Nijisanji get a hold of this tech.

Basically the mangaka for Love is War (which I still highly recommend EVERYONE to read), and Oshi no Ko got invited to an Apex Legends tournament, along with vtuber Nishizono Chigusa from Nijisanji.

It's actually amazing and funny how addicted to Apex Aka is, while also being incredibly talented and crazy fast at being a mangaka.

In a past interview he said that he manages to finish the draft for Love is War in just 5 hours while also playing Apex in between. Most mangaka take a whole day.

Another statement he made mentioned that he manages to finish the whole chapter in just 3 days. That's 18 pages in just 3 days where most mangaka take a whole week. AND HE DOES IT JUST TO MAXIMIZE HIS APEX PLAYING TIME.

Details on what exactly this project is are sparse.

All they've said is this is a "new world-building story. A different aspect of Hololive presented to you by Hololive"

Could be an anime, game, a series of music videos; we still don't know yet.

What we do know is that they're looking any and all types of content creators to apply on their website, and that there would be a original Twitter manga set in this alternate world.

It's pretty interesting that they specifically do not mention hololive EN gen 2. And list the pre requisites as

That "gender irrelevant" part is screaming Holostars EN to me. This would be pretty big if that were the case and it would boost the undeservedly low numbers of the other Holostars by bringing in new audiences.

She definitely wasn't planned to be like this from the start.

You have to remember the fact that she's an OG Gen 1 Vtuber, as such, the standards for "idols" back then were pretty strictly defined.

Akai Haato was supposed to be a classic tsundere type character, but as time went on she revealed more and more of her real life personality which gave birth to Haachama. I think she herself said before that Haachama is closer to what she is in real life than Haato.

Of course now her whole horror theme is just her leaning into the memes of "Haato is dead" and running with it.

I can't find the exact experiment name, but, you hide someones hand and put a prosthetic in place (it doesn't need to be super convincing, just a box). Then you run a feather along the real hand, and the prosthetic hand so the brain links up the two. Then, very quickly, slam a hammer down on the prosthetic hand. The person feels the pain, jerks their hand back, and their hand is fine.
But, they still felt the pain.

It depends heavily on the battle. He's never bad, but Young Link is much weaker on maps with just a few captains or boss monsters, like the challenge and quiz battles. The more grunts there are, the more powerful he is, he literally feeds on their corpses. Because he can turn special bar into magic bar, even when in focus spirit, for infinite focus spirit if you can keep killing enemies to build special back up fast enough.

The addition of the My Fairy system can make Young Link absolutely bonkers broken if you build them right.

With the right build you can get unlimited magic and/or special whenever you want, for like 2 minutes, with no drawbacks.

The only Fate stuff I know and played is the OG eroge VN, and Fate/Extra on the PSP.

I certainly don't consider myself a Fate fan, despite liking both experiences. I feel like I should know more about the side lore stuff if I want to really get into the fandom.

Man the Youtube algorithm can be scary.

I keep getting recommended videos from up to 8 years ago of certain HoloEN Vtubers "past lives" without me even looking for them.

I wonder how the girls feel about Youtube itself snitching on them.

I mean, Gura might be better off since I don't think she's ever shown her face before.

But I keep getting recommended videos of Ame and Kiara's past uploads where they definitely show their face and I'm worried they might get doxxed or something.

Hopefully Cover can protect them from any bad stuff that might come for them.

Sounds like I should give Origins another shot seeing how much people here like it.

I tried it out and I dunno, it felt like the different systems felt too disjointed or something. Didn't immediately click with me. Might be just like that for the early parts of the game though, since I stopped after you find your wife and get a haircut

I skipped ahead and played Odyssey and felt like it had the smoother beginning experience. Though now that I just unlocked the Cultists system I feel like the game is getting kinda overboard with it's multiple systems to juggle. Also, there's way too many bandit camps and other icons on the map that, while easy and fast enough to finish, feel pointless.

If Valhalla feels like more the same of those two, it feels like the AC series might no longer be for me :/
