adjl 02/07/21 9:51:00 AM #54:	I'd written off the DE because I never actually finished all of the DLC maps in the original, and it seemed like a waste to rebuy content I hadn't played yet even if there's some extra stuff on top of that, but I hadn't realized just how extensive a content update the DE was. I may actually have to pick this up at some point, though I should probably play AoC first and that'll probably satisfy my need for Warriors for a while. --- This is my signature. Argorok C1 also does a lot to the gauge. Gohma C1 takes out like 2/3 of it, generally (so attacking during it or popping another C1 will typically break a full gauge) Manhandla C1 plus a Special (the poison drains the gauge w/o costing you time for the boss to get up) usually depletes a full gauge, too. Even then, it's a really safe weapon if you're smart w/ it, the only problem is defeating them fast enough, and...usually it's not a problem. Boomerang is CLUTCH in those missions. Note it doesn't always stun, you have to try multiple times. Also, for Zant...stick to the orb shooting C1 so you can focus fire on one target. Played as Lana, got the A-rank. No heart container. Did it again and got it that time. Weird. Also Impa's Level 3 weapon mission was nuts. It can get you up to level 50 or so, maybe even up to 80, but beyond that you're gonna get crap for xp from it, and it's gonna be pretty slow above 50, too. High level weapons and weapon skills to boost damage matter a lot more than levels anyway. It can be good to get anyone up to a decent level to do other stuff I guess, but the rupee cost to train people at early levels is so low that I just start everyone off at like level 30+ anyway. Grinding for lots of pricey weapons on Lorule (double weapon drops, up to 8 per battle...more w/ potions for extra drops, and some battles like Divisive Plan ones can be over in less than 2 min) with a high level character and selling them for training money might be more effective, honestly. Plus you can use a rupee-booster (Ravio bonuses) on Lorule, too. Yes, cap is still that. Also note one of the "tricks" for grinding xp on that map is to get the xp booster potion, intentionally die near the end, then retry the battle, and do that repeatedly. Because you keep the potion effects on retries, but also keep xp and levels gained from failed attempts. So you can milk a lot of levels off one potion, which is somewhat costly otherwise (10 silver materials, I think? 20?). The first HW already had the season pass available to buy when it launched (though the content itself rolled out over about a year or so), so it's kind of baffling that there's been no mention of it for AoC. I'm guessing, as you said, they didn't expect it to perform as well as it did, possibly because HWDE didn't sell at that well (the original sold 1.26 million, the 3DS and Switch remakes only sold half a million each, though even that apparently exceeded K-T's expectations for the Switch one), but Warriors games are usually so saturated with DLC that I still would have expected at least something. It's also possible that Nintendo (having been more closely involved in this than in the last one) has kept them from announcing DLC yet for the sake of saving it for the presumptive Direct and/or to support their image of being good about DLC. --- This is my signature. And has some good moves. I think Link is my strongest, as well... He's a good filler character for me, as well... And I use to have a lot of trouble with Agitha and King Daphnes. Both aren't very good to me. Though, some may like them... I do like Agitha's special (the butterfly wings), but he moves are kind of weird. streamofthesky 02/11/21 2:55:30 PM #79:	I don't recall what it was like on Switch, it didn't challenge me at all. I remember on Wii U, either her level 2 or 3 was really tough. Took place in the mines/tunnels area and there's an utterly insane amount of captains that end up swarming your base, I think it's one of those "defeat the leaders of 2 armies" things. Then I realized as long as I stuck near the main base, it was actually a godsend to have so many enemies bunched up in my HQ as long as I kept on the move. Gate is disjointed from Lana, once the summon pops out, you can immediately dodge cancel and move away while it does its thing. You gotta take advantage of that and the outright invincibility (any time there's a blue orb around her) she has from like the last half of her normal string and all of her summons except C1 and C2. If you're constantly popping summons, repositioning, repeat.... it's one of the safest weapons in the game, should be nearly impossible to lose due to damage taken. But a lot of the maps have bs like that where you have to go halfway around the world to get a specific item card from one and only one battle b/c all the other locations are locked behind other tiles requiring said item.
