If you have the Switch version, there's actually 2 superbosses you can fight.

One is at the end of all the Tickington sidequests.

And the final one is unlocked after you beat that one.

Okay so my game purchases/backlog until Monster Hunter Rise comes out are lined up.

Just bought Mary Skelter 2 on the Switch, which also comes with the first game as a bonus so that's sweet.

Bought Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk a while back as well, so my dungeon crawling jrpg craving will be met for quite a while.

The next games aren't really jrpgs but hey, might as well list them out.

For when I wanna play something more actiony I just bought Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

And my brother got a free Xbox from his friend along with a couple of games, mostly multiplayer stuff like Destiny, and Rainbow Six Siege. But he also got Assassin's Creed Origins, Odyssey, and Red Dead Redemption 2 as well.

Depending on how fast I complete these games, (and alongside MH Rise) these might well last me until the end of the year.

Damn, things are really getting majorly fucked up in My Hero Academia.

The mangaka kinda touched upon this in the latest chapter with the hero saying "I need a new line of work" after seeing all the devastation, but I really hope that they properly address the potential for the students to get PTSD or some sort of emotional trauma because fuck, it really felt like they just endured superhero ww1.

I'm at the part where I have to go back to the desert town to get permission to get a boat in the first game. I guess I could just try to play through my backlog first but I really just want to get something on this sale for some reason.

I actually just got past that part and got the boat, but I felt like stopping there.

I dunno why but the combat system didn't really click with me, and the story didn't really help to overcome that issue.

Maybe I'll come back to it sometime in the future with fresh eyes, but right now, it's not a high priority in my backlog.

Well, like I said, the last AssCreed game I played was Black Flag, so it wasn't as much of a difference.

But yeah, I'm sorta apprehensive since I know that the newer ones don't really play the same as the ones I'm used to.

Start at Origins, because it's harder to go back to older games without as many improvements. It's still really good, but you might find it weird to play in reverse.

I tried to go back to Assassin's Creed 2 a while back and I had a bit of trouble at first with all the missing features the newer games had.

My brother's friend decided to get rid of his Xbox and gave it to him, so now we suddenly got a bunch of free Xbox games, and among those were Origins and Odyssey. (He also got Red Dead 2, Far Cry 5, Titanfall 2, Fallout 4, and other stuff)

The last Assassin's Creed game I've played was Black Flag and based on the few gameplay snippets I've seen, the series has changed drastically it seems.

So yeah, which one should I start with? I haven't yet experienced the "ubisoft fatigue" since the last ubisoft game I played was black flag, so either of the games would be a fresh experience for me.

That's nearly twice the total capacity of some football stadiums.

tldr; if he doesn't do this, someone else can claim his music as their own and potentially abuse the claim id system to damage not just clippers who use his song, but even Amelia herself, and even Cover/hololive.

The guy himself is pretty cool about it and has the fan/artist mentality of "this should be free always", but he has to do this in order to protect himself, his music, and his connection to Cover.

It's a pretty informative talk and shows a lot about how music copyright works in regards to samples and remixes.

I think they mention this briefly, or it's in the in-game database, but the way they control AGEs or any God Eater really, is by controlling the supply of Bias Factor, which prevents their weapons from eating them alive.

In a proper nest/caravan/base, they usually give their God Eaters a good supply of it regularly so it's usually never mentioned ever again after the initial one-off line.

As for why they treat AGEs worse than regular GEs, "they're closer to being aragami than humans" is the reason apparently. Which is definitely shounen plot levels of stupid.

Though, the cynic in me can definitely see how they can treat them that way, seeing as how actual real world racists do the same or worse to other people.

Nice to know my picks based solely on waifu potential are good.

Still though, I can only bring at most 2 more people per map if I want to use everyone in my house. And I also have the dlc characters so I'm kinda stressing out on which ones to level up and focus on.

So I've been steadily making my way through Three Houses.

My first playthrough I got to Chapter 4, got a good feel for the game, kinda messed up by focusing on faculty training instead of raising my professor level as soon as possible, and learned that I could have recruited the DLC characters earlier if I did it first.

So I went and finished the DLC. Kinda hard, kinda fun, sorta meaningless in the end since it kinda sits in a weird place if you think about the timeline.

Then I made a second new game, which I am on right now; Blue Lions route. Just at the start of Chapter 7, Prof level at B, and recruited Caspar first (according to something somebody mentioned here, I forgot the exact details), Dorothea, Petra, and Lysithea.

I'm kinda wondering though, is it worth it to try and recruit a lot of people? You can only bring in 10-12 people at most per map, which leaves only 1 or 2 extra slots if you want to use everyone in your house (And why wouldn't you?) Plus the game also gives you the faculty and other characters without having to invest time into raising unused skills for recruitment. What do you guys think?

Didn't the games have problems with translation and grammar mistakes?

I remember reading something about translating the word "monster" to "bakemon" which is likely a direct romanization of 'bakemono'; but the problem was there was already a digimon called "Bakemon" in english which caused some confusion.

And also some texts don't change even if you're playing as a girl so you'll get referred to as "he" or "him" sometimes.

Make sure you do EVERY paralogue ASAP on Blue Lions because whether a party member dies or not is tied to it.

Do whatever you can to get Kaspar from Black Eagles. He and one of Blue Lions members have a sidequest that gives closure to one of the main villains that the main story just... drops.

Oof yeah see this is the kinda thing that makes me want to open a guide and spoil myself since I don't want to miss out on stuff like that.

I was actually planning on just recruiting who I can and not worry about it, but you actually miss out on stuff if you don't get specific characters in a route?

I gotta be honest, the game is feeling kinda intimidating right now since I'm the type of person who tries to do everything in one playthrough and I like to min/max all my characters for max efficiency.

And this game doesn't really make it easy to do that blind, and I kinda get the feeling like that's not the intended way to play.

This sorta mentality is what got me stuck in Fates, and unable to progress in a single route since I would just grind out the online stages to get max supports and buy out skills and what not.

So yeah, hopefully I can manage to switch my brain gears and enjoy the game.

Season pass is worth $25 right? So you get the full game plus all the dlc for the price of a standard new retail game.

That being said, I've only played a handful Fire Emblem games.

I played a little of the 2 GBA ones.
Shadow Dragon on the DS.
Awakening (which I greatly enjoyed)
Fates (but I got stuck trying to min-max skills and max supports so I never finished any route)

So how is the new game? I heard that it might be the best the series was, but others say it's worse than Awakening.

I wanna hear you guys' thoughts.

I've been hearing a lot of good things about the game but the $60 plus $25 DLC kinda put me off it. So a sale like this is exactly what I've been waiting for.

It's pretty interesting watching the vtuber boom grow and expand its influence.

It's especially interesting to see mangakas become vtubers because that means that they can get an additional source of income just from streaming and monetizing their drawing process, alongside the regular income they get from publishing their work.

This means that they don't have to rely so much on the whims and popularity rankings of the magazine they're published in/contracted to in order to make a living. Which also means less stress for the artists and could lead to better overall health for the manga industry. Plus, if their current work does get dropped by the magazine, there is a chance they may still continue their work if their streaming audience is big enough to fund it themselves.

Fewer dropped/axed manga is always good in my eyes.

I have fallen to a deeper level of vtuber hell. All the normal youtube channels I watch haven't been uploading shit so it's been like 12 hours of vtubers a day. I dunno if it's true or not, but I heard a rumor that Hana's dad is not going to show up in here streams as much anymore.

From what I gathered, there were a couple of streams where the chat was just constantly asking for Papamacchia to show up and it kinda stressed Hana out since she knows her dad is busy with real work and doesn't want to bother him too much, and her dad also doesn't want to take the spotlight away from her.
