Like, we both know there are millions (billions?) of young men who are still absolute shits despite having a strong male role model, and also good people despite lack of strong male role model. Unlike your argument, mine isn't dependent on the actual numbers. My point is, if those killers were all shown to have played GTA an above average amount, you would find that reason enough to go down that route, even though statistically it's nonsense to do so. It leads you down the path of crafting stats to support your conclusion (which as you know is almost always possible) and turns you into a Jack Thompson/Trump/Hillary/etc.
