This looks pretty bad, honestly. And I really want this to be good too. There's something about James Franco's acting like Tommy Wisseau that's really, really bad. He doesn't come across as some kind of funny idiot, he just ends up being annoying in the way they don't want him to be. It's like the worst Wisseau impression I've ever seen too.

Seth Rogan was the funniest part of the trailer, honestly. I just don't see this being very good at all. All of the Wisseau jokes just seem too in your face rather than subtle nonsense like it probably should be.

I guess at some point just yelling that everyone who doesn't like them is a mark got old so they needed to come up with something new. Pro wrestling culture seems to cultivate arrogance and the refusal to acknowledge that you're not perfect as the ideal qualities for a person to have.

Nordholm just acts like everything with TNA has just been such a burden on him that he's just trying to get through. He tossed out this app thing but has absolutely no idea on what they're offering and what could possibly work. When asked if there's a good shot of them getting on a new station in 2018, he said that he's not sure what a good shot means, but that there were talks, but there's not now, but that doesn't mean there won't be.

The app will be called the "Global Wrestling Network" and the tag line is "The alternative network".

People were complaining about subtlety concerning Pennywise and those scenes where he's running at people having a loud noise... But it's like, the point is to startle you when he goes after the kids like that. What's wrong with the loud noise to accompany that? There's nothing subtle about it. There was a lot of subtle stuff they put in this movie that is to be appreciated. I'm just super confused why some people are acting like there wasn't much subtlety in the movie just because it does a lot that wasn't subtle.

Well, at the Raw show I went to, there was an awesome Lince/Metalik vs Kendrick/Gulak match on Main Event! I mean, granted, I wouldn't go out of my way to watch Main Event of all things to see it, but... there's good matches that exist on it from time to time.

I would assume that R-Truth vs Hawkins and Slater & Rhyno vs Gallows & Anderson would not be among them though.

You're giving They're Watching way too much credit. While it had comedic elements, it truly doesn't step into the realm of comedy until the climax of the movie. The rest is atmospheric and rather well-done. But man, the climax is just absolutely horrible. It becomes just a giant god damn joke, a whole bunch of wacky nonsense happens, and it just feels like a giant waste in the end because there is such a strong juxtaposition in genre.

I am so confused by that TNA news.

How the hell did they not realize that it was constantly losing money when Dixie was selling to them? Why would they buy it without having any idea on how to begin making it profitable or at least break even?

But man with all of the insane headaches this has caused them, I don't blame them for wanting out. If it's not Billy Corgan lawsuits, it's the Broken Universe, or it's ADR, or it's Jeff Jarrett. I'm shocked at how clueless they were when they bought this company what exactly they had to consider.

Also, you guys might appreciate this. My girlfriend and I are going to the Mothman Festival in two Saturdays from now. It's a 2.5 hour drive for us, but it looks like it'll be tons of fun. We wanted to do the Mothman 5k, but we are still trying to get into race shape.

We just want a picture with the badass statue, a t-shirt, and to eat any of the Mothman-themed sweets.

American Horror Story has burned me too many times, but I felt like watching the first episode of Cult.

At times it was super cringy and bad. I can see moments where they may absolutely drop the ball or go too off in one direction with a couple of things, but I felt like it was enjoyable enough. But man, I still don't feel confident it will be a fulfilling experience to follow.

I'll watch it until I feel bored, I think.

She also tried to get into a booking conversation saying that if she was running the tournament she'd put all the big girls against big girls so it's more even.

Well, she doesn't like people who don't show sportsmanship at the beginning of the matches. And she loved Santana. I think she said during the match "This isn't fair that the small girl has to face this giant one" and "Santana is doing so many cool moves and Piper is doing next to nothing!"

My girlfriend and I watched the Mae Young Classic first round over the weekend. I thought she'd watch an episode and get bored, but she actually kept bugging me to keep watching it. I guess it really does make women want to watch the Network!

Apparently her favorites are Serena, Santana, Rachel Evers, Toni Storm (who she said was the coolest), and Kairi Sane (who she said was the cutest). She hates Piper Niven though.

I think it would've been more fun to have a new episode to watch every week though instead of this half-binge format though.
