I posted this in another topic about Trump's attitude towards Putin in the last week and now my suspicions are confirmed:

It's an act. Trump is deceiving Putin. A few weeks ago, Mattis said that Trump was no longer listening to him. That was also part of the act. Putin thinks that his plan to create chaos within America is working and he's let his guard down. Behind the scenes, Trump and Mattis are working on a plan to deal with Putin.

It's clear that this is a trick to get some of our special forces behind enemy lines. Holy shit, Putin is going to get rekt.

They really should've just changed the movie so that Leia died as well. They had every opportunity to do that once Carrie Fisher died. Now it's going to be super awkward in Episode 9.

And Snoke pissed me the fuck off too. You set him up to basically be the Palpatine of the sequel trilogy, and then kill him off in the second movie? And without ever properly explaining who he is, where the fuck he came from, or how he's connected to Luke?

The Deoxys one was pretty cool. Had a neat alien invasion vibe going on, and the grudge match between Deoxys and Rayquaza was great.

The Darkrai one was also one of the franchise's high points.

My wallet's so full that I can't possibly sit down in a comfortable fashion if I were to keep it in my back pocket.

Third-parties won E3 this year. Microsoft is just regurgitating the same old tired franchises once again.

But they're 20 foot killing machines capable of sub aquatic movement and maximum maneuverability over many terrains (TLDR: it's fast and can go anywhere.) Someone was going to get killed no matter how many safety features they put into the park.

The same things go for tigers (except the 20-foot part) and we keep those in zoos as well.

I mean, it's not like they had much of a choice regarding the species of dinosaur they'd end up with when draining the blood out of those mosquitoes.

Hell, they pretty much won the species lottery when you consider that they got the biggest and coolest species of nearly every dinosaur family.

Nothing has been found that's larger than a blue whale, although there were some beasties back in the day that came pretty close.

I thought she just wanted more pay. If Andrew Lincoln is leaving, then that definitely clears up a large enough chunk of the budget to where they can give Lauren a better offer.

From what I heard, she's cast as the lead in some new show that may or may not get picked up. If that show does get picked up, it drastically reduces her availability for The Walking Dead.

8 years old, just got home from school. I'm pretty sure my mom and I were preparing to go somewhere when she heard about it on the radio, so she turned the TV on and we didn't go anywhere.

I remember when they usually had about three game series running alongside each other. They haven't been releasing shit lately. They wrapped up Guardians of the Galaxy in November, Minecraft Season 2 in December and Batman Season 2 in March. Heard nothing from them since then until today, when I found out they delayed The Wolf Among Us Season 2 until 2019.

Well, the Switch's library would be a lot slimmer if you could play Wii U games on it. Would've effectively made all those freaking ports obsolete.

You know, considering most SF games are on-rails anyway with the vehicles and light-hearted characters being the most standout aspects, this kinda makes sense -- especially if they've somehow worked a shooting aspect into the game. It would need to be ambitious as fuck though and more than just a racing game to convince everyone that it's a good idea.

Either way it seems Nintendo is at a point where they simply don't know how to make a truly good Star Fox game but are hesistant to completely retire the IP. I feel like for a modern Star Fox game to work, it would need a huge budget in the vein of AAA western devs (or Square Enix) and Nintendo don't really roll that way which is why they've been ending up as graphically underwhelming short experiences.

Star Fox is just an odd duck. The gameplay of an on-rails flying shooter just isn't deep enough to make it into a full-fledged game that you can't beat in an afternoon. Every Star Fox game barring Adventures is short as fuck.

1) The big franchises - Between Star Wars, Marvel, and DC, each has at least three games and has been done to death in a "normal" setting. Slightly smaller franchises like Harry Potter, LOTR, and Indiana Jones are "complete" from a perspective of the original work.

They haven't covered Rogue One, The Last Jedi or Solo. Still plenty of room there.

Metroid 1 & 2, yeah. Super Metroid has some Metroid is the game (and one special Metroid in particular) but I wouldn't say it's about Metroids. Metroid Fusion isn't about Metroids until Samus finds out they were trying to weaponize Metroids again. which doesn't happen until the end of the game.

In Metroid Fusion, Samus is part Metroid.

The studios are wise enough to realize the Avenger movies don't fucking need forced romantic subplots. Wanda and Vision is only acceptable between neither got their own movie or much character development so it's the quickest way to humanize them.

Yep, they learned their lesson from that horrendously forced Widow/Banner crap in Age of Ultron.
