I mean, "best troops" doesn't mean a whole lot considering how much Stormtroopers suck. And the Ewoks had the home field advantage and made use of unconventional tactics. Yeah, it was still jarring to see Stormtroopers get taken out by rocks to the head when they're wearing armor, but all in all, it's not the worst thing ever IMO. Hell, for all we know, Ewoks are super strong. Chimps are smaller than we are, but they're way stronger than us as well.

It was solid and I enjoyed it throughout, but I've seen people trying to claim it's some of the best TV ever and that's just silly.

It's definitely got some amazing production values for what's essentially a TV show.

I can't believe how lame the entire final space battle was either. Lando shows up with this massive fleet, and you think "oh boy, here goes, finally a space battle to dethrone Return of the Jedi!" And then it's just some fighters blowing up the Star Destroyer cannons and then Palpatine shuts that whole shit down. What an anticlimax.

Did they ever follow up on who that mysterious dude was in episode 5? The one who found that Asian sniper lady's corpse at the end? I can't remember whether it was the Imperial Moff guy or not.

That's even worse. He's more than twice her age.

It started out strong (the first 3 episodes), then it had 3 episodes of pretty meaningless filler, and then it ended pretty strong again in the final 2 episodes IMO.

The movie could've honestly done with some more connecting. It was painstakingly obvious that Jannah was Lando's daughter. It's the only way their interaction at the end of the movie makes any sense.

And is the C-3PO thing really a common complaint? This is the first I've heard of it.

Well, not really. The movie theater I go to has a membership package where you get unlimited movies for 30 bucks per month. I saw it in IMAX twice (15 bucks each) and 4DX once (20 bucks), so I made a decent profit. If anything, they're getting the movie theater's money.

First time was by myself on opening day. Second time was with my little brother on Christmas. Third time was with my friend today.

And my local chain of movie theaters has this membership thing where you pay 30 bucks per month to watch unlimited movies. So if I essentially watch 2 IMAX or 4DX movies each month (or 3 regular movies), I'm already making a profit.

It honestly didn't piss me off that much the first time, but more and more flaws made themselves apparent on repeat viewings.

Went in for a third viewing because a friend hadn't seen it yet and he wanted me to tag along. There legitimately isn't a single piece of this film's story that holds up under any degree of scrutiny. It's all complete and utter nonsense, driven forward by a neverending stream of coincidences.

Did you even watch Revenge of the Sith? Anakin killed the Separatist leaders and shut down the droid army. And the Emperor literally gave a speech to the entire senate about how the Jedi tried to assassinate him and seize power.

It's honestly staggering that there hasn't been a class-action lawsuit yet. Fallout 76 has got to be the single biggest fuckup in gaming history. YongYea, Jim Sterling etcetera are literally putting out multiple videos per week highlighting the latest of Bethesda's fuckups.

I feel like this would be even more awkward to watch in theaters than any of the Fifty Shades of Grey movies.

Some coaches make really stupid decisions that cost their teams games at important times. Some coaches are toxic which leads to the players disliking them and not playing to their best ability for them.

But in the latter case, it's absolutely the players' fault. They're not paid to play for the coach, they're paid to play for the organization. They're just throwing the coach under the bus then.
