Yeah see, this is the part I want to dispute. There's a clear difference here - Ulti before was bringing a lot of attention to his role, but this time it's been mostly about his flavor. That is unique for someone like Ulti who loves claiming he has an ultra-super-special role all the time.

This to me reads as Hb reading between the lines of what wallz was saying because he knew Ulti was scum and he knew Wallz was town. Kind of a cart before the horse thing-- he knew I was wrong and was eager to flaunt it, but in extending to that level to explain why I was wrong he connected dots he shouldn't have been able to.

Wallz is towncleared by early Ulti suspicion and Hb reaching too hard to make his logic read as town logic

I'm not saying she is for sure scum, just that she's been super into destroying Ulti since this came about when she wasn't really helping before when the material was there. I also think Lea's activity has been inconsistent this game which reads to me more as scum Lea

It feels like Ulti is taking one for the team here and Lea is leaning into it HARD as though she is the one who caught him.

Also note Ulti fell on his sword targeting Lea on flimsy flavor meta.

Do not trust Lea. Lea is tripling down on Ulti here when she wasn't very aggressive before is not a good look. It feels like she's trying to take credit for this lynch when she's a distant third at best. I am not saying she's scum for sure, but do not trust her.

Do not lynch Plum before Hb. Plum just plumming and getting himself killed is within his range. Really dig hard into Hb. Hb being so sure Wallz had solid logic reads as Hb knows Wallz is town. Hb stanning for Ulti is protecting the scummate. Hb has oozed scum even without considering his split personality on his attitude towards me and lack of anger.

Here's how I currently feel

Win the game for me town. Hb is pretty much ironclad lock after Ulti. Someone who wanted to avoid getting drawn into my vortex wouldn't constantly hound me-- his behavior is very much at odds with his in game behavior. And the fact that I couldn't draw any meaningful anger out of him is indeed a scumtell as well as town Hb tends to become unhinged.

I think we're well on the way to solving this game.

Personally I feel Ulti trying "to catch" Lea here is a hamfisted attempt to townclear Lea and Lea is bussing Kirby and if I were to gamble I'd pin the scumteam as

Hosts tend to put in a highly recognizable character or two in the safelist
King does not lend himself to an obvious role in the context of mafia and most people aren't going to be super bummed if he's not in the game since he's not a major character just a side guy who is always there

To me he profiles perfectly as safelist fodder. Doubly so if he's Ctes's main because Ctes wouldn't want his main to just be a vanilla.

Town is stupid for lynching people off of reads. Reads are great for making hypothesis that lead to power actions.

How do you gain an accurate read if you're going to NL.

Reads without stakes are not nearly as useful

It's just a lot of effort put into being outraged and honestly I don't think I believe you on the no lynch thing. I was expecting either a "I don't give a crap later" or actual effort put into solving the game.

You want to convince me you're town have an earnest discussion with me about how town solves the game without lynches taking place. Yes it would be nice to not risk a lynch day 1. However arguments are nothing without stakes and if you just no lynch you get no usable information out of day 1 aside from the night kill unless a scanner claims day 2 (which they shouldn't, generally).

At risk of echoing myself from every other game, death, i agree with sbell that your reads look lazy so far.

This isn't how town plum has responded the last several games so please elaborate. I had a range of town responses I was expecting and this was none of them.

I was going to have doubts about plum but then he went and did smooth brain wizened cop scan ranting and I feel better again.

Big thing that gave me pause over Kirby was that he called me "Mega Town" early and unlike a lot of games lately the rest of town haven't been agreeing with him.

I think scum Kirby has a PhD in Lopen psychology so I have been a bit wary.

I'll look into it tomorrow

Seems stronger across the board for me unless the Faden person is dead weight. Seph and Sora seem way stronger than any 2 out of the other team's 3 though.
