My lynch order there is probably Death > Ashe > Brohan > Corrik and town loses

Not really no. I made infinite using a Loki discard deck that just used Swarm and Helicarrier to build hand size for him.

Related note I still think Lokis best use is in a deck that isn't design towards maximizing him but just running him + collector in a deck that has its own strategy that you can audible out of if you draw the wrong cards to make it work (like Hela or the Discard deck I ran or something else)

I guess my angle is that because of how Alex works and thinks it's impossible for him to want to achieve anything resembling Frieza's scale of destruction. He does not have the ambition to inflict punishment on some manner of grand scale-- I feel Alex with Frieza's power is just Alex slightly faster

Like yes he will do worse things to those people he chooses to torment than Frieza would (Frieza would be content to kill people by and large I think) but I just think you'd be looking at orders of magnitudes more people that get messed up by Frieza.

Frieza is driven by power, Alex is driven by depravity. I think the former has a higher ceiling in what they can accomplish in terms of making people miserable.

I think Alex with Frieza's scope can't actually exist and is a contradictory state

If you expand to the scope of Freiza it becomes both something implausible to do and something Alex would not get any enjoyment out of

It's like saying "what if this personal trainer taught a class of 500 think how great they'd be!!" Well no they'd cease being a personal trainer at that point.

Frieza

I think Alex stops well short of the stuff Frieza does. Keep in mind Alex does bad stuff because it amuses him but at the same time knowing it is bad (and not caring).

I don't see him enjoying waving his hand and exploding a planet. To me he just doesn't seem the type of character with an inclination for that, preferring more personal evil where he can relish in suffering at a 1 to 1 level. I also feel like destruction at that scale he might honestly be opposed to because it would deny him people to torment.

On the flip side I don't see Frieza in Alex's shoes being quite as despicable in the form of rape and whatnot but I could see him trying to do things like bomb buildings instead.

Kinda different flavors of evil here. I do think Frieza on the whole causes more suffering by a lot but Alex probably has a greater suffering inflicted per victim if that makes sense.

Tried my luck with the random s4/s5 card and got a normal Loki dupe for 1000 tokens

Did not know that could happen if you weren't s4/s5 complete will definitely be bailing on selections if before I draw the random s4/s5 in the future if I can.

Generic that exists just to build up Kuja basically. Mostly nothing of a character. I remember his boss fight being kinda cool.

The best heel heat. He reads excerpts from LOVELESS all over the place and has a major inferiority complex with respect to Sephiroth that is really enjoyable to watch develop. Then on the other hand he has some totally badass scenes ("the world needs a new hero!!") to make him a credible bad guy which is great because it's easy to just make him a whiny poet guy. Dude is awesome, one of my favorites in FF.

Bondrewd seems like a total selfish bastard but Kreuger enjoys what he does and I think if Bondrewd was presented with an alternative that didn't involve sacrificing people he'd take it. Freddy would not.

I don't think he does anything Calvin wouldn't do if he felt any sort of reason to.

Calvin's weakness is illustrated here in that he's a bit too much "evil businessman" to be competitive with the higher tiers.

It's not so much a matter of imagination as utility. Calvin will be as cruel as he can be but it's always tied to some sort of dominance play or making money through exploitation-- his cruelty always has a self serving point in his mind.

I just don't think he would find it worth his time to want to do a lot of stuff this other character is said to do.

Awakening is nowhere near 90 hours. That's you grinding waifu points. You can easily do every mission in the game in 20-30 hours even watching the story.

In a replay setting where you're skipping cutscenes and playing efficiently you can probably half that without approaching anything resembling speed running.

I suspect later games are similar but I don't have as many playthroughs of them as Awakening so I don't feel as confident saying it.

I will say as a very casual follower of FE on the Switch I saw FE Engage at a Gamestop when I whimsically visited it a few weeks ago (first time at a Gamestop in years) and thought it was some weird spinoff like the Musou game and didn't have interest in buying it

I wonder if I'm weird or that happened to a non-minuscule amount of people. FE with focus on classic gameplay seems awesome so now I wish I grabbed it it was even on sale

His design is so horrible it's a distraction and probably makes me hate him much more than I should.

Debrii is actually the easiest counter but I dislike that she kinda requires to be countered currently

I think she's super op currently. Omega Red was usable. She's an easier to trigger Omega Red that gives one more power.

4/5 +3 or 4/3 +4 is probably where she ends up after they milk that release money
