I would like to appologies for my behavior again this game. I was genuinely upset and real world stuff also going down on top of it, should have dropped it walked away and came back later

Gonna be honest, i have not kept track of the games that have been played and what the results were.

I just know that LeaPuppet has a 100% win rate and has never been lynched.

kind of a deflating game for me tbh, i replaced in and then wasnt caught up at all when FD/JC ended the day on the spot and then i got one day to basically just trying and argue a completely losing case against JC (though i was incorrect about Ashe) before getting nightkilled right as i was about to go IN on people

And peaf got killed before he could even regenerate, so with the vote locking thing on day 2 i was effectively just a mason with no other powers.

i just wish people would stop insisting that such and such role couldnt possibly be town because 99% of the time you are wrong in those evaluations

I wanted to argue against this, but I was scum and my team wanted to get the lynch. I didn't join it though, cause I felt bad for JC and figured if I voted him he'd have voted me anyway. I'd have totally jumped on the Brohan lynch of yours though.

Reminds of the reverse where people couldn't see certain roles as scum, until they were. Prosty and DayVig come to mind.

JC died because he killed FD. There wasn't really a town reason to do this with the role he had and how he explained it.

Even if he ultimately wanted me dead he didn't need to pull the trigger as soon as i grabbed the box, he could have waited 23 hours and 59 minutes to end day at the normal time.

So it was particularly anti-town behavior, despite actually being a town role

Oh, I don't disagree with that. Just the whole "It had to be a scum role!" thing, and not just because it was a town role. If I were town, I'd have totally lynched him thinking he was scum too. But because of the way he was like "Welp, I'm killing FD" immediately after FD was like "I'm going to grab the box."

Btw Ulti Crescent's primary reason to vote you because she trusted the host to send out role PMs that weren't disastrous and confusing. As soon as she saw you actually flipped the disastrous mess of a role you claimed, she totally lost interest in the game.

She feels there's a meta with her that people always call her confirmed scum when she loses interest in a game, and she didn't want to bother dealing with it, hence replacing out after thinking it over for a night.

Don't insult the host. The game was fine.

People were comparing her play to her past scumplay because of it.
I dont mind her replacing out, but I am sad we could not get Lopen in.

And replacing out because people might think she is scum is fucking audacious. I am so fucking tired of hearing how it's everyone else when it comes to her.

I have seen her insult hosts so many times and belittle them because things aren't exactly the way she wants them. Like get the fuck over yourself at some point.

I would have been arguing the opposite as town but sometimes as scum tiwn throws you a cookie snd you just have to take it.

JC was saying he was just doing it for fun and i was just kind of smiling and nodding and then lightly nudging town the opposite direction.

His story was complicated but consistent and he had no scum reason to claim it. Plus flavor meta wise it was clearly done by pinhead during the day which should have set off town vibes.

Naw, it's thematically appropriate. Gut, I think it feels better on a Survivor/SK, but if you have something that is a wonky role that is worth it due to theme, then go for it imo.

Balance is important to mafia games but fun is more important.

Vanilla/Vanilla? the problem wasn't the role PM, it was how ulti was trying to read between the lines to see something that wasn't there. While simultaneously appearing to accept a vanilla dayscan of himself.

Could isquen have been more forth coming about the nature of the game? Sure. But it added a neat element of surprise and would have been more effective if we didn't have 12 hours of day sandwiched between 72 hours of night.

Could isquen have been more consistent about the clarity of the roles? Sure. Ulti's pm was a little bit confusing.

But at the end of the day i think assuming your role pm says something that it doesn't is more on the player than the host, and isquen doesn't deserve to have this setup shit on like that.

To be more precise, I was already losing interest before Ulti even flipped. Ulti's flip just finished it off. I never once clicked on another game topic after replacing out until now, so I really don't know what happened. I always get called scum for losing interest in a game. I'd actually argue I've been more likely to lose interest in a game as town, but ultimately it's NAI. Replacing out when I did was best for me and for the game. Day 2 turns into a mess of personal attacks at me and by me if I don't.

On a side note, Lea's replace out was a hard town confirm for her. She made near-zero effort to play like town all game, deliberately played to confuse the game instead, and it backfired. I don't think scum Lea ever replaces out in that situation. She relishes the chaos she's caused instead.

Oh and, if I had a role PM that looked like Ulti's, I barely would've tried from post 1. I would've probably made some sort of snide comment about my role pm before long. Also, I did in fact immediately think I was scum when I read the alignment, and the impression lasted for about the 3-4 seconds I said it did.

i always meme about being in with boko but,

if you continually "lose interest" in games then perhaps this isn't the right genre for you. the amount of time the players put in, the hosts put in to create and moderate their games is just disrespectful to everyone's time. i think that for the large part we're all old people with limited free time. families even. maybe you have nothing going on in your life that you can conveniently 'nope' out of a game, and that's your prerogative i guess. im not going to police whether or not you should or shouldnt play but perhaps keep this all in mind for the future.

The most egregious thing was that lopen actually wanted to play. And not only did you replace out, but you refused to play with lopen and got him removed from being able to play at all when he wouldn't have did what ya did.

I think I have replaced out of one game ever and it was because I was having a huge personal issue at the time nothing about the game.

In fact it was star wars vs pokemon and man I wish I got to play in that.

i just want to apologize to the hosts and players. Clearly i should not have signed up for this game. Completely disrespectful to not even show up for half the game. i started the game at a personal low and everythings managed to get worse for me, though thats really none of anyones concern i mean weve all got shit going on. Sorry everyone.
Not gonna sign up for another one, but it was nice to relive some of those old mafia feelings if only for a moment.
