I didn't get a chance to say, thanks again to everyone who participated in this season's contest! If you have any suggestions as to how I can make this better, I'm always open to them! I know a few people chimed in about top seeds being able to pick tiebreakers, so that is already on the list to consider. If I do though, it will be slightly limited, I don't want anything like super complicated yknow? But yeah, either post or PM me or w/e if you want to make a suggestion!

I would make him answer why he said you cancelled it when you did not, make him answer the hard questions before you proceed with the transaction, and ask him why he then listed it for so much higher than you bought it for. Make him admit any crappy behavior.

I don't think you need to get to a superbowl with some nobody to be considered a top coach. Players are just more important than a coach imo, I think bill taking the pats to the playoffs this year with a rookie who seems "fine" is good enough to let him retain the crown

I feel like belichick has to be at or near the top perpetually until he isn't.

I knwo the jokes for pederson throwing a game are there but like, he did still win a superbowl, pretty recently, and it's not like he's a bad coach right? I'm sure jags fans are still devastated that the FO appears committed to baalke but you could do worse I think.

Brian Flores has sued the NFL and the giants alleging racism. In the complain he shows a text from belichick apparently showing that daboll got hte giants job 3 days before flores even interviewed him, and he texted flores congratulating him thinking he was texting daboll?

It was never proven I think that he did but it was shown to be much more likely than not. And it just depends on who you ask. There will be some who hate tom no matter what and some who defend him no matter what.

The circumstances of that specifically though, I think part of it is because the game was a blowout, and fans love to pile on whiners. So when colts/other fans go "HE DEFLATED BALLS" everyone else just goes "Lol that wasn't gonna help you win." Also other QBs at the time readily admitted they like to push the boundaries of what is allowed because they like their balls a certain firmness. So I personally think just the confluence of factors makes it a collective shoulder shrug.

I always understood it to be what nick said, interchangeable. But I get the argument of double = 2 extra hurts. Regardless I will try to remember to use extra hurt instead of double hurt going forward, cause I was guilty of it too

I can see now why war thought I was mistakenly trying to use 2 extra hurts when I got solio before, since war tried to triple hurt apollo using the same wording I used

I don't think there's really anything to do here besides just tell them what happened, you didn't mean to open the case, and you'll try to contact ebay to reverse the decision. But regardless of reason there is some burden on them for not only not having shipped the item but not even contacting you. And if something were really wrong I would expect someone to reach out to me preemptively and be like "hey sorry stuff came up, it won't get there for a while."

Like I don't think you're guilty of stealing money here or something. It was an honest mistake on your end, but it wouldn't have happened had they either shipped on time or even just communicated.

See the rumors I heard yesterday (Maybe they were posted here?) was that the jags were trying to leverage leftwich by threatening to pivot to another guy if he wanted too much money. So it would be hilarious if both that and now this were true, what a turntable that would be.

Okay seriously, I know the playoff game was awful and he looked awful, but one game does not a QB make. They went 11-6, and his yardage, completion percentage, QBR were all good. If you don't think he's a HoF in the making that's one thing, but not even a "Good" QB? Come on now.
