With the playoffs upon us, this week will have a few tiebreaker questions in case we have multiple people vying for position (we probably will). These will be listed at the end of the slate, please pick them! There will be 3, and if by some miracle (or if someone's a dick and purposely picks someone else's stuff) people get the same closeness on all 3, then I reserve the right to RNG the tie. The first tiebreak is first, and if people tie the first then the 2nd is used, and same for 3rd. Simple enough. Oh, and in accordance with the past, there will be 12 spots up for grabs! I forget, does the damage reduction that EZAs put on overcome the advantages you get from using the right category? If I used a future saga character whose type has been reduced, is that coming out more or less damage than a non-future character whose type hasn't been reduced? Assuming all other things equal of course.

You've got a few good units there, but unfortunately not nearly enough to get you through all 30 levels I think. INT Zamasu dokkan'd is a fantastic tank for this, scratch damage levels of good. That SSB Vegeta is also good because he's both INT and Future Saga, which gives him extra damage and defense. I'm not using Gogeta but I'm sure he hits quite hard as well. Unfortunately, outside of those, unless you have some other really good tanks, I don't think that's enough.

For the record I am currently using this team, it's a realm of gods/INT team, and I'm through level 25 but starting to feel the pain, I don't know if I'll be able to do all 30 levels:

INT UI Goku
INT Zamasu
INT SSB Vegeta
INT Future Trunks
INT LR Vegito
INT SSG Goku (100%)
INT UI Goku Friend

That is 300% in boosts for most of the chars, pure INT, and I'm still taking 20k+ damage per normal attack on any char not named zamasu. Later in the EZA, it becomes more about category than it does about type, even a full INT team won't be enough at some point. If you can find UI Goku friends you may be able to get away with putting some other Realm of Gods chars in there before it starts shutting down the damage of most types. Stuff like TEQ SSB Vegito, INT Beerus, other RoG hard hitters or INT types.

I am almost always partial to combo, but I think most people here take crit. I like combo esp if they have an effect that happens upon their super, like raises atk/def or chance to stun or stuff like that.

Something to keep in mind, although I usually take type def anyway over recovery nodes, but just because janemba guards against all attacks, I dont' think that factors the type def boosts into it, because it specifically says type advantage, not guarding. Just something to think about.

I have no idea what's regarded as better between type atk and super atk boost

Question regarding the possible participants for the 13 and the 7, as someone who follows the lore but hasn't played any of the games so I might be fuzzy on the details:

Isn't aqua the only one who knows where within castle oblivion Ventus resides? A lot of debate seems to be whether aqua will be a light or a darkness, but if Ventus is definitely going to be a light, then wouldn't aqua have had to lead Sora to Ventus to get his heart back to him (since last I checked Sora still has ventus's heart), for him to participate in the war? Which would put her in the light column? I believe xemnas has been questioning Aqua's armor in the castle and trying to find Ven himself, but I am unfamiliar with how successful he's been with that. Maybe it's possible xemnas finds him with aqua's help but the lights somehow end up with him anyway?

I guess I'm just more into which characters they are. Like yeah hit is cool but i personally dgaf about the rest, from a character standpoint, not a stats standpoint. And unless it's like LR Vegito or something, I'd rather pull on a banner with several great units than one awesome one.

I would like to sort of justify my picks here, if I may. Perhaps I am misguided, but I don't think it's as easy as just going to get the person you want if you have the picks. Looking around the league, I am even more set in what I said in the discord that it seems like a lot of WR talent has left/is leaving soon, and 2 mid firsts is not worth giving up for a guy in his 30s, or a guy who's 85 or under. The person with the established player always has the leverage advantage over the person with the picks, and looking at the league right now, WR looks like it's getting ready to have some huge turnover. I didn't really pursue a trade because if I happened to land a team's #1 WR (which I feel 2 1sts is worth) then their WR corps is left in shambles. I try to ask myself if I would do the trade I'm offering. There's no way I'd go for it because most of those guys are old now, and there's no way they'd go for it because the ones that aren't old would carry a huge cap penalty, 5 mil or more.

Part of this as well is because we can all see the WR FA pool is not ideal for such trades. It's a lot of low 80s guys, which is great for filling in a corps, but not if you traded your #1 guy away, which is what I would want if I traded two mid-1st rd picks. That makes people even more hesitant to trade away a star WR, because now they can't just go and even take a gamble that they replace them with someone close to what they lost.

I have no problem with you disliking the O-line setup, I'm well aware of your feelings on it. I do pay them quite a lot, but I do want to at least point out that, while they are definitely overpaid, I believe you told me before they gave up the 9th fewest sacks as a unit last year. That may not be living up to the standard money-wise, but it's also pretty darn good in a vacuum. Furthermore, I felt that with how thin LBs are getting, that getting one for the future took precedence over getting an OT for the future to replace Marvel Smith, especially after looking at the past 2 draft classes and this upcoming FA class. There's simply so much more talent at that position that I think I can afford to wait. I also had no idea that Kikaha would show up on the big board so soon after my first pick, and I admit there was a bit of panic in me when he showed up, which is why I traded up to get him. I do however, have no qualm with you bringing up my lack of depth. That's just the way I choose to build my roster, and I understand the risks that come with it.

I'm also not worried about money because I always make a list going into each offseason of guys I know I can afford to cut to make extra room if I need to. I always just hold onto them because I did stuff way too early my first couple seasons, and I'm trying to learn from that by not creating extra cap space (and taking hits) unless it's necessary.

All of this is to say, I feel like there weren't any moves available to help me win now and also secure some much needed future pieces.

Yeah I actually had a good bit of luck with an omega shenron friend, I got to like the third fight, but I ran out of items. The ideal rotation was Omega > Syn > Omega (I have a rainbow Syn) it was like...-70% atk and -40% def? Or vice versa, I forget, but outside of that it was rough sledding. Also meant the rest of the team wasn't hitting as hard, especially Cooler.

W00t, beat super-type SBR, I almost screwed myself at the end because I didn't realize SSJ3 vegeta's damage reduction had run out, luckily he was able to keep Zamasu stunlocked. He was really the mvp of that run, stun helped so much.
