This. In the manga it's said that goku and vegeta learned how to contain the "leakage" of their energy while in SSB form, enabling them to fight at 100% stamina for as long as their bodies can stand it. I'd wager vegeta's new anime form is closer to a SSJ2 in practice than it is their manga-only technique.

I can beat SSJ3 Broly with an STR team + TEQ SSJ3 Gotenks but I kinda have to get lucky with crits from either Gogeta or SSJ4 Goku. But still, it's heartening!

I'm not mwc but I can still answer these:
1. 18 isn't obsessed with fighting like the saiyans, she's a family woman now. She has no reason to keep training.
2. I actually can't answer this one but I would wager Tien since he is actually a lifelong martial artist and Krillin is a family man now.
3. Super takes place between the end of the buu saga and the distant finale in Z where they introduce pan, and GT is non-canon, so he's only gotten a minor cameo in Super as of this point. (IE Goku hasn't met him yet)
4. Yes, if the baseball ep is the only one you've seen then you've seen the best we'll ever get at yamcha regaining relevance. Heck that's why they made the episode.

Wrath of the Dragon says hi. Dragon Fist is neat visually but it's so bullshit in concept it's hilarious.

To be fair, for all the crap goku gets about never making up his own moves, this was the one time he actually made up his own move. It also wouldn't be the first time someone was able to do damage to someone above their weight class (vegeta's first final flash). Specifically I have a gripe with the second broly movie on account of it straight up breaks the rules of the DBZ universe with how they use the dragon balls. Even though the first one uses something we've never seen before, at least canon hasn't presented it as impossible.

While I have no personal beef with SHINE, I have heard stories of his more...spoilery moments. That kind of disregard for people's feelings certainly, imo anyway, isn't really the type of thing that I would imagine someone having a bad day would do.

I feel like one of the best things you can do for a channel is get people talking about you. My channel ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJr7DrVt9FEQjys6mWP8Y1w ) was dead in the water and abandoned until we got some coverage from a larger channel in QuintonReviews.

I believe this is how a really big channel named JackSepticEye got his fame as well, he won a shoutout contest by PewDiePie and took off from there. Definitely sounds like who you know can be a big factor.

I enjoy it if it's actually part of the game mechanics. A game I really love is twilight imperium and, though it's been a long time so maybe I'm wrong, I believe that has alliances in it that gets you extra benefits when it comes to trading goods and political votes and such.

Not so much if it's just 2 or more people being like "Yo don't attack me and I won't attack you"

I killed one of the enemies (out of 2-5) on the first boss of a super battle road. Progress? I might actually have a chance if it wasn't super/extreme split, I have two decent stunners on INT in Hit and Future Mai.

Yeah, but keep in mind some of those missions have restrictions too. You literally CANT get your LR VB unless you have a full Fierce Battle team of EVERY type

And it's not just taking damage either. 3 full rounds of my heavy STR hitters did 1/2 health to 1 of the 3 extreme PHY enemies in phase 1.

I told you SBR is complete and utter unwinnable bullshit for 99.9% of the player base! STR Krillin takes 50% reduced damage when blocking and mine still took 77,000 damage from a super attack so I died on the first turn because 2 of those and 30,000k regular attacks eats up all my HP

Yeah ok, these new stages are bull****. One of if not my best teams is super STR, and first phase first boss enemies of the extreme phy stage are doing 150k supers against me. **** that.

Darn it I was thinking that one but didn't want to sound like an idiot! I also haven't played nearly as many board games so I was sure it was some one I'd never heard of.

I'm generally pretty competitive so I'm not a huge fan of co-op/semi-coop games, and sure enough dead of winter is a game that another group of friends I have loves and I'm not a fan of.

While Sheriff of Nottingham was the first confontational game on my list, the next game I have is the first one that really says "take that" and has player elimination. In general, my engagement level is very high in games where I can be attacked (such as Endless Space, it sounds like), but it can often feel tense and kind of unpleasant. I (or at least my groups) can generally relax a bit more in games where that confrontation is ameliorated a bit by a 'nothing personal' feeling - though of course that intensity can still be exciting.

Your group doesn't seem well-suited to 4x games. How long is a typical game? Did you find others to play with? Sounds like a neat game, but it would be tough for me to feel the trust I'd need in a gaming partner to sit down with someone who's rage-quit in the past. Not that I've never been guilty of doing this type of thing...

It generally takes us a whole dedicated day to get through a game of endless space. And you're right, if people know it's not anything personal if you do something to them then it's okay, and I've defended myself over and over that it's not like I'm picking on one person in particular every time (hence it being 2 different guys in both instances). Specifically the guy in the 2nd issue I had, I think just has this thing where he wants to be the one who's on top all the time (and he's literally 1st in score every time we play) and the moment something happens that can cause him to lose that superiority he just deems it not worth finishing, and he seems unable to comprehend that I can actually win. Like when I attacked him, I did so because I felt like there was no way I could win if I just did nothing, and his comments seemed to indicate that he didn't think I could win even by attacking him specifically. Like it feels like a case of "I'm more experienced in this game than you (true), therefore I know what it takes to win and you don't, and because I don't understand combat in this game, it's a dumb way to win."

Also in endless space, as with other 4x games, you can turn off victory conditions, and of course they have all deemed that the condition my race is best at is OP and so it always gets turned off. (diplomacy) But I'm not gonna turn this into a thread about what I think proper game balance is so I'll be quiet, lol.

Not board games but I am pretty much done playing 4X games like civ with my friends, because they all like to play passively and just "let's all get along and just win by research or money" and I'm the only one in the group who's willing to ruffle a few feathers if I think it'll help me win, and every time I do I get fussed at. The single play that ruined it (even though I gave it another chance in which I also got *****ed at), was in a game of endless space, I play a race that lets you see the entire map as its race bonus, so I used that knowledge to settle a system that was within another player's "territory" and by "Territory" I mean that players are usually blocked off from each other at the start by wormholes, that require a specific research to acquire. This system was in this player's area of systems that's separated by wormholes (so to start off only he could reach it), but he hadn't settled it yet, so I went for the tech and settled it. I view it as me using my race bonus to my advantage. Then when he discovered the system and found I inhabited it, he yelled a bunch and rage-quitted.

The "another chance" I mentioned was also endless space, before the game a different guy mentioned how we need to actually finish the game this time. Well, he was playing a race that expanded influence very quickly, and my systems were getting swallowed up. I obviously wasn't going to just sit back and take it so I attacked, he got all pissy and was saying how much he hates the battle system, civ's is much better, and how I was just making it so neither of us could win, blah blah blah. We stopped playing soon after, and his next words were, "so next time we're starting a new map? Yeah? yeah?"

In short: The people you play with can make a good game a bad one.
