It's crazy that the Pistons have made 8 first round picks in the past 4 years, 5 of which were in the lottery and yet they're still this lacking in talent.

I think they're fine talent-wise, the problem is they all have the same weakness which is that they can't shoot. And when no one can shoot it gets even harder for everyone to shoot. Bojan coming back should at least help some.

What I probably want from 4R as far as structure goes, is having sublevels within the level. I don't know the specifics, but basically you've got an overarching map that redeploys with every conquered castle, maybe with some kind of system to recover some HP or, actually preferably, having to swap weakened units out for fresh ones (full roster deployment wouldn't probably not be the case in this scenario). Yes, you do lose the fully open map exploration, but...but yeah that....probably wouldn't fly for most people today!

I'm thinking of the one map in PoR that's 4 parts in the forest and each part is just a different part of the forest. You want that but like the whole game

Effectively like a Satan-figure in some ways. On the feeding, It doesnt actually need to eat fear, It can just eat people, It chooses to inflict fear and target kids because it tastes better. Lastly, Frieza softens considerably after his initial arc and by the end of Super is working with Goku.

He's working with goku because he doesn't want to die. He even low-key tries to overthrow the top god during the tournament that god is hosting before getting preoccupied with just staying in the ring, it's more of a "I'll help you so that I can rule later" mindset. He even says himself he's not going to stop his ways just because he helped save the universe and whis bringing him back to life. And in the manga, he hasn't.

The bucks are a completely different team that still has the 2 best players on the court most nights. it will take some time to mesh, anyone panicking for real at this point should take a chill pill.

I am with you on that, there's no way chicago is pulling any big name FA without overpaying out the ass. I just honestly believe they'll be better off in the long run continuing to languish now and hoping their picks pan out.

That's just it. Picks are a total crapshoot, moreso the farther down you go. Second rounder, especially since it'll be top 40, is definitely a higher price to pay, but Sweat is a proven talent rather than a potential one. So there's that too.

Sure but the more you acquire, the more darts you have to throw at the board. Even a team like hte bears *can* get some right if they try enough times. He is a proven talent, but I just don't ever like these types of trades unless they put you in contention. Going from bad to mediocre or even average just doesn't do it for me. It's a move a team pulls when they just want to be relevant.

Team like the Bears need talent period. Sweat is talented. Still have two Top 5 picks this year, Carolina's 2nd next year, get a new coaching staff in there and hit on some of those picks and the possibility of a quicker turnaround before Sweat hits 30 is not out of the realm possibility.

In all seriousness, I get where you're coming from but it just doesn't seem likely, dare I say even possible. You're hoping both of the top picks they have this year will be almost immediate studs AND they still need more help defensively, seeing as they rank in the bottom 5 in points allowed. I just don't see that kind of quick enough rebound for sweat to matter. I see it as he'll give them a couple good years where they marginally improve, and then he's gone

Because the bears need picks way more than trading those picks for expiring deals. Even if they extend him, they are still a long way from contention, he will be over the hill by the time they are any good. He's doing nothing for them in the short or long run.

Nah all blame to the raiders here. They did carr so dirty, everyone can see mcdaniels is the problem but they jettisoned carr anyway. I have no issue at all with adams and others being upset at the state of things.

To be fair, the reasoning they had for denying him on the plane was legit imo. He'd been away from the team for more than a week and suddenly wants to play, get him ready first. He can't just be like "I'm not gonna do anything the team wants but play games so that I technically fulfill my contract"

Don't forget the pats once won a game in extreme conditions by throwing the ball 3 times. It can work. Hell it was working until the giants missed a FG (That they should have not taken in the first place imo).
