My gut feeling is a big Rams win... but man.. 2021-2022 Bengals feel like they're not going to lose a big road game in such a fashion.

As this AFC game showed us, the Bengals D can show up.

Question is going to be who performs better under that pressure, and while Burrow has a lot of recent experience playing under pressure, Stafford was on the Lions for a long time.

I agree that the game will probably come down to keeping the pocket from collapsing, but I can't see the Rams getting away with a big win.

They also missed a potential pick-six in OT the play before the Mahomes INT. It's easy to remember the one that got away when it costs you the game.

I just realized we're looking at a scenario now where the Jets can say they beat the Super Bowl champs

So since the Bengals are the "home team" for the Superbowl does that mean they technically get to kick the Rams out of their own locker room?

I really hope the answer is yes.

SoFi has separate "home" locker rooms for the Rams and Chargers iirc. It'd be more likely the Bengals use the Chargers home room, and the Rams use their own, I'd think. But fuck if I really know.

So basically he didnt like that it got out before he made his pre written announcement. So he claimed not to have made his decision and then made his tweet series announcement like one or two days after probably as was planned before.

I have friends that are Pats fans who are raging right now because he didn't mention New England.

Brian Flores has sued the NFL and the giants alleging racism. In the complain he shows a text from belichick apparently showing that daboll got hte giants job 3 days before flores even interviewed him, and he texted flores congratulating him thinking he was texting daboll?

Yes, Bill Belichick definitely accidentally mixed up the contact info of his former DC and a division rival that just so happens to reflect very poorly on the team that beat him twice in the Super Bowl. Total accident.

And all of a sudden Flores getting fired despite the Dolphins strong finish and all the chatter coming from there about him being "difficult" make a lot more sense.

Hope he succeeds. The league has been an absolute joke in this regard and everyone knows it.

I mean it's no surprise that the reports of Flores being difficult to work with didn't come out until the organization received backlash for firing a guy most people perceived as a good coach

I mean, yeah, at first it "just" seemed like the Dolphins trying to cover their ass but some of the details alleged in the lawsuit mention things like Ross trying to get Flores to recruit a "prominent QB" back in 2020 (shouldn't be Watson, timeline doesn't work; See some reporters speculating it may have been Brady) and Flores wouldn't play ball because these attempts would be in violation of tampering rules and that ever since Ross treated him with disdain.

Just makes the whole thing seem a lot more malicious IMO.

It's not like Brian Daboll used to be the WR coach on the Patriots... or that both of these guys are named Brian... and more than likely both of them have texted him recently
