Pretty much. Especially with things becoming more privatized in the US. It becomes very easy for the governments to use them as a proxy to circumvent various rules & the rules have always been thrown out in various ways in times of war or extreme circumstance or outright ignored all together until enough fuss was made about it. Ultimately, it is nice that we have the bill of rights, but it is going to take more than a piece of paper to protect you

not entirely sure but they are vampires and as we all know, vampires usually have a tie to bats.
The rules for vampires vary so much from series to series. I mean, in Bram Stokers Dracula, Dracula couldn't even die when exposed to sunlight. Much like the average 4channer going outside for the first time in months, he was weakened, but not exactly killed, plus he could shape shift into a variety of animals such as a rat (not too cool) or a wolf (super cool). He wasn't limited to bats.

I honestly don't understand how anyone can live there, at least in the big cities. Homes are practically a million dollars for some ancient 1960s abode, rent close to 3k for 2 bedroom, 1 bath. Orcas are super op. Even sharks have no choice to fear them. Sharks are pretty cool with thier blood sense & fast regenerative ability, but they don't have the brains to match thier brawns like the Orcas do. Not only are orcas super huge, but they also are really smart and work together to hunt, truly formidable.

In terms of what I think is one of the coolest. Falcons are pretty sick. They are masters of the air with really fast speed & good control. Owls and hawks are good at dive bombing to secure kills, but they largely target stationary prey, but falcons are skilled enough that they can catch things as they fly around and try to evade them. Truly impressive.

It's pretty much a nothing burger right now. Trump is essentially charged with covering up a felony, but the DA does not even state what the felony is in thier indictment. It suspected to be something along the lines of election fraud, but even the feds didn't want to prosecute that & that is more within thier jurisdiction. Regardless, the trial is not even set to be aired until December. I can see why the news media is pissed, there is nothing to go off here.

They don't want to weaken thier brand by selling them at a fire sale. It is best to make them seem "limited", so you can maximize FOMO. Plus it costs absolutely nothing to make one, probably cents on the dollar, a buck at most so it is not exactly like they are losing millions, that is just retail, not costs of goods. More powerful hardware & better performance in handheld mode I would guess. That is the biggest complaint people have with the Switch, well that and the joycons. It was the same thing for me as #27. If you have other Nintendo consoles, there is only a handful of exclusive titles for the Switch that are worth playing. I would just wait for the Switch 2 to come out and see what to do then. It probably will be backwards compatible, stupid if it wasn't. Although, with the popularity of the Switch it may be awhile. I wouldn't even be surprised if it takes another 4 years for the Switch 2 to come out. No point in releasing a new console if everyone is buying the current one.

There is less stigma to divorce & let's face it, love fades, so it gets hard to maintain a marriage after awhile, so especially after the kids are gone the marriage goes to pot. It always seemed that the most successful marriages I witnessed are between two people that have thier own lives outside of thier spouse. So, to answer a clich with a clich, while love may fade, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Spelunky. You have the basic ending which is just beat the Olmec, which is a good challenge for a casual, but if you are hardcore, you can aquire the book of dead in your run, which will give you access to an optional end game zone and true final boss, although it will take quite a bit of tasks for this, so is much more involved and difficult.

Also, Arcade games frequently have second loops that you can get to after beating the game with certain conditions, such as not dying or meeting a certain score threshold. These 2nd loops are harder arranges of the first and have the true final boss. Beating the 2nd loop is exponentially harder compared to beating the first, since not only do you have to master the 1st loop to get to the second consistently, but you still have to be able to beat the second. Some of these second loops are legendary for their difficulty such as Ketsui's Ura loop, which only 15 people in the world are known to have completed, since not only does it require you to no hit, no bomb your first loop, but the actual Ura loop is quite difficult, but probably not as difficult as no miss, no bombing Ketsui consistently I would imagine

The game has quite a few fundamental issues: the backtracking, the cheap deaths & hits (even in speed runs, speed runners are constantly getting hit due to the poor enemy placement and mechanics ), the terribly implemented character switching and just over all the genericness of it. The game is a positive nightmare to A rank as a causal like me. You can only save once, half way through the game (after the airplane) and essentially have to play two, hour and half segments perfectly in a game loaded with cheap hits and deaths. Absolutely brutal, although both characters are absurdly tanky, since you can take like eight hits before dying, which is nuts for a RE game, although you will need it

But hearing people freak out about it to this magnitude is hilarious to me. More entertaining than the bloody game itself

3 is my favorite in the series, although I only played up to 9. Don't know if I will get the remake, the SNES version nostalgia still runs strong for that game, one of the better looking games for the system. I guess the only problem with 3 is that it feels like you always have to grind like 10 levels before the final dungeon, but it isn't as bad as 1 & 2 when it comes to the enemy level curve, although the GB games help mitigate a lot of problems with this with thier faster leveling, although the NES ones are pretty rough in this regard.

It was a different party back then. Nixon & Regan changed the party with thier southern & religious right policies, respectively. It went from the party of Lincoln, of emancipation, etc. to the party of racists & weird Christian conservatives. The Christians aren't so bad I suppose, but the racist connotation that the Republicans have from Nixon's southern strategy has cause a ton of headaches for the party, especially in the modern era.

OK. And?

You're still going to have to deal with this guy and a set of nunchaku is as suited to that as any other tool you're likely to have on hand.
A set of nunchaku is not equipped to take on a person wielding a knife. All the knife user as to do is rush you and stab you a couple times to win the fight. The nunchaku is not a powerful enough weapon to stop this tactic. I mean, you got at best one swing at the guy, then the dude is going to be stabbing you in your spleen and the sad thing is that the nunchaku is a specialized tool that is cumbersome to carry around all day, whereas nearly every male in America carries at least a pocket knife

I don't think there were too many "crazy methed up guys" in medieval Ryukyu.

Dealing with someone with a knife back then didn't mean they were on a different planet trying to cut out your heart and eat it; they could just as easily be after your money and threatening you, similar to how a gun would get used in a mugging today.
Dealing with a knife wielder in Medieval times is even more scary because due to the low level of medical science it was very easy to sustain a mortal wound. A stab wound to the stomach was almost certain to kill you then. Plus there was a death penalty for robbery in many places, so criminals had very little incentive to spare your life.

In that particular role, nunchaku work fine - they have a range advantage over the knife, and their large arcs make approaching for a stab or slash difficult. Moreover - and this is the part of the nunchaku most people don't understand, because they're used to Bruce Lee or Michelangelo from the Ninja Turtles swinging them like flails - the nunchaku actually has a lot of uses as a grappling tool. They were basically a primitive form of handcuffs. You were probably just as likely to use these things like a garrote or in submission holds as you were to actually hit someone with them.
I've seen plenty of knife fights on CCTV footage. It is usually some crazy methed up guy running full tilt at some dude and stabbing the dude several times like a maniac until he is incapacitated. There is no technique, just raw ferociousity. Unless you can land a death blow on the knife fighter as he approaches you are a goner and I just don't think chucks have the force necessary to do this. Even if we are limited to just improvised weapons, I would rather have a bat, since the one blow I have would be devastating, probably cracking the knife wielding maniacs skull and instantly killing him, unlike chucks that are kind of wimpy

Hard for me to say. On one hand, I was super addicted to it at the time & fully it completed in a one week manic episode, but at the same time I have no desire to ever replay it again or even play its sequel. While it does some things different than a standard open world game, such as giving greater traversal options, eliminating map icons & having over a hundred unique (well, besides the combat ones) bite size dungeons, it still is subject to a lot of the traditional open world game problems of too much wandering through empty fields & repetitive, uninteresting combat encounters. I prefer a more traditional Zelda game, but it was a nice change of pace.
