It's a bit early, but everyone knew he was going to run. Too bad every news station is going to be Trump 24/7 news now. They are obsessed with the guy. Probably will hear more about him than our actual president.

I liked 9. It always had a lot of charm to it. 7 had a good plot, but the graphics and gameplay kinda suck.

Yeah, I see little point in getting in a shooting war with Russia when Ukraine is currently dumpstering them in the field. All this attack accomplished was convince everyone to contribute more to Ukraine, not doubt NATO.

From reviews and footage I've seen, Castlevania 1 is my "favorite" so far. I'm currently trying to beat it but it's tough.
If you can keep the holy water you can wreck that game. Although, it feels like an old school shmup in that if you die it almost feels easier resetting than trying to play as a downgraded character.

As for the topic, Rondo of Blood is my favorite. It has a banging OST, multiple routes & Maria is a blast to play with the double jump, rolls & the almighty birds.

Alex Jones fans when they discover it's actually illegal to spread verifiable falsehoods about people, endangering their lives.
I doubt it. Jones like any sane reasonable person will no doubt blame his loss on the lizard people. Like, if only the damned shape changing lizard people in charge of the one world government weren't out to get me, I wouldn't be in this position.

What benefit is there to society by paying for his prison sentence for the rest of his life? And giving the victims of the massacre closure is a boon to society.

Indeed, outside of instances where somebody continues to be a significant threat to the public even from jail.
It has a therapeutic benefit to the victims, since it gives them closure. It can be dubious in cases were the guilt is nebulous, you don't want to execute an innocent man after all, but in this case there is no doubt, so there seems to be little disadvantage to employing it.

The "reasonable person" argument really needs to be looked at in modern days. That is the argument Sydney Powell and others are attempting to defend themselves. I don't see how it matters if the person who believes them is reasonable or not, this guy has a massive audience and a lot of them DID believe him and they did engage in a consistent harassment and threat campaign against the families that did not constitute protected speech.
I suppose it can be abused, but you would hope that anyone watching Jones would hold what he has to say with a molecule of salt. He is the most outrageous of anyone using this defense. I never met anyone that thought he was more than a meme. Maybe the bath salts crowd believes him, but if you cast a wide enough net (and the internet is a enormously wide net) you will find people that believe almost anything. And if you can be held liable for the actions of a bunch of crazies, you pretty much can't say or do anything.

But, legality aside it is probably for the best that the families get something for thier troubles. Maybe not 50 million dollars a person, I mean it was not like Jones killed thier kids, but perhaps 5 mil a pop, so they can have a comfortable retirement. It is best to sheer the sheep not skin it.

Yeah it is a bit infuriating, since supposedly, according to rumor, one of the jurors had a moral opposition to the death penalty, so didn't even bother weighing the evidence, so the trial was pretty much pointless. Thousands of dollars & tons of painful testimony down the drain. Although, the final vote was 9-3 in favor of the death penalty, so there were a few other people that jumped aboard.

You may as well get rid of the death penalty if you can't even give a mass school shooter whos guilt was never in doubt it.

Oh trust me they do take him seriously. Even after admitting to make it up just to make money.
I remember recently him doing a reaction video to the Ford Lightning towing video that is making the rounds. The thesis of that video is that the Lightning has no range when towing, but when Jones reacted the video he made the absurd conclusion that the truck can't go above 20 MPH, despite the video he was reacting to showing the car going above 60 MPH. I mean, do these people even believe thier eyes, even discounting the fact that everyone knows that electric vehicles are capable of going quite fast. The viewers would have to be dumb & blind to believe the assertions that Jones made in that video.

You got to play to win and Jones not turning in discovery docs doomed him, but to me he largely falls under rhetorical hyperbole. I don't think any reasonable person can take him seriously. I know it is an overused strategy now a days, but if Trump & Tucker can do it and have it work, then Alex, "they are turning the frogs gay" Jones should be able to too. Probably would not have worked since the court seem out for blood in this case given the absurd compensatory damages awarded, but I don't know how anyone can take Jones seriously, even the Onion is more believable than him.

Tell that to the execs and shareholders who don't have to pay robots a salary and get to keep that money for themselves.
I guess, but I am not too used to gigantic robots in everyday life, so I didn't want to be in the aisle with it. Thing was probably a good six feet tall, took up half the aisle and sounded like a noisy copy machine as it scanned the inventory. Would hate to see a whole store full of those things, but I suppose that is the future we are going to.

I saw a inventory robot at home depot rolling around. It looked like a gigantic fridge moving through the aisles. I guess it scans inventory & answers questions, but asking a question to a gigantic moving fridge and following it as it slowly lumbers around doesn't seem to be much of an improvement from just asking a CS rep for help.
