For me it's gotta be either The Sims or Age of Empires 2. I'm thinking The Sims was more likely as I played AoE2 for the campaigns mostly (and sometimes map editor) so I might not have accrued as much playtime as people playing online competitive...

Probably Pokmon Red for me, I obsessively played and replayed that game for years

The earliest I can say for sure is Melee, although it's possible I played Smash 64 or some other fighting game for over 100 hours before that

Tough question to answer. I feel like I probably played games like Gex 2, Crash 3, and Sonic Mega Collection for over a hundred hours when I was a kid. The first one I definitely know for sure though is Runescape.

I honestly have no idea, but if I had to guess, Championship Baseball for the Commodore 64. If it's not that, we need to fast forward like 7 years because I can't think of any other C64 or DOS games I would have spent that much time on up until, like, X-Wing and Might & Magic IV.

I have no idea, it's been so long since I started using 100 hours as the baseline for a good play time that I probably had quite a few before I ever actively realized it.

I think it had to be Sim City 2000? When I realized Streets of SimCity and SimCopter could be played with your cities, it completely changed the way I thought about games, basically forever, and I was hooked.

I considered this, but I also don't think there's any one single game I played that I would have clocked 100 hours on. It's hard to judge, though. When you're a kid, you have no concept of time. But there were a couple games at school I might have played a bunch because I was in the after school program and often monopolized the Apple IIe there.
