I'm really feeling like Dinwiddie is going to end up the Suns starting PG next year. His contract is the same roughly as TJ Warren, the Suns have too many wings and the Nets gotta move one of Dinwiddie or Russell if they are getting Kyrie. Also saw reports the Nets wanted to move up in the draft.

6th pick + Warren for Dinwiddie + 17th pick is a win for both sides.

Well this was the plan during the season too

Walton being there *May* change things a bit

but on all accounts he and Vlade are in sync, they were teammates before and keep in touch regularly so I doubt any big shifts in plans

and we are apparently trying to raid Europe with our late round picks taking all the good players no one will look at

Oh actually for a non-Magic team it would be 4 years 140m which is still astronomical for Vucevic. He's good but for a max level player he is limited. I hope he does well wherever he goes but he needs to not be the 1st option like he was for the Magic.

As for Dinwiddie, I'd love to have him too. His deal is great for how good he is and it's weird that D'lo is the one that is seemingly walking if they get Kyrie rather than keeping him and trading Dinwiddie. Although I guess Kyrie/Dlo is an awkward match.

Hot take, I don't think Kyrie is that much of an upgrade from D'Lo. Not enough to let D'Lo walk when the alternative is keep him and take a swing at a different max guy.

Just remembered that the suns traded Bogdan (and two other picks) to the kings for Marquese Chriss and the Euro player we did keep was Dragan Bender lol imagine how bad the Suns would be if they didn't take Booker at 13

Those other two players ended up being I believe Harry Giles and Justin Jackson, who ended up becoming Harrison Barnes

Well I haven't seen anybody else saying anything negative about signing Kyrie even if it means losing Russell for nothing.

Seems like it was only the early rabid Magic fans who were against a sign and trade for D'angelo Russell. Went from 100% voting for no trade to the end result being:

42% - No Trade
11% - Jonathan Isaac
16% - Aaron Gordon
31% - Mo Bamba

So more in favor of trading than not trading just with them split on who they would want to be traded if we had to.

I'd trade Bamba in an instant if it meant getting D'lo

Gordon I would be more sheepish on as I think he is set for a huge breakout year but I think gun to the head I'd say yes as our defense is great and our offense is bad. Roster balance would be an issue then though (We have zero depth behind Gordon or Isaac at SF and PF right now)

Isaac I wouldn't trade as I legit think he could develop into a Kawhi type player down the line, that's how high I am on him.

His reaction when the injury happened suggest achilles as that is the typical reaction people have. But I think usually when it's an achilles he would have been on crutches and had surgery by now. So it's a weird one.
