And I only say tomorrow is must win because it's more about the Nats than the Mets. If the Nats win tomorrow I guarantee you they'll spark and get hot and win 15 of their next 20. That's why we need to win now , to stop them from going off. If the Mets lose, there's a god chance they start crashing and play under .500 The next 20 games or so.

They can prevent that by winning tomorrow.
Maybe you all need to cool it more. I didn't even go fucking crazy like I normally would after a loss like that because we have a cushion here.

I'm not complaining about a simple loss. I'm complaining about a horrific loss like that which can spark a lot of negative shit if not immediately nipped in the bud. Trust me. I KNOW. I'VE seen US do it to the Nats. This exact opposite situation happened in 2015 and the Nats completely collapsed and we want on a crazy streak after the reverse of this game happened then.

This is not over the top. It's a legit concern because I saw us do the same thing to them.

But I'll be sure to question your mental health too the next time you get upset after a loss. Or call your reaction over the top when you're upset about something you disagree with. I literally have proof this happened before.

I was really angry when they re-signed him. That asshole should not have a job in baseball. He should legit be in jail. It makes me furious that he's on my team for the 3rd year in a row now. I hate seeing his wifebeating face. I fucking hate that the Wilpons are cheap assholes looking to get a "discount" by signing a shitty player who they are deluded into thinking is a "fan favorite" and is the worst hitter in baseball, whose only asset is slightly above average speed. The dude is fucking slime and can't hit for shit so what the fuck is he even doing here? Why was he signed to a $2 million contract? He's veteran status so you can't send him down, he would need to be straight released (which I beg every day they do). I was not happy or comfortable from day 1 with this guy on my team, mid 2016.

But our dumbass new manager decides to use him to pinch hit in a critical spot, with 2 on and down a run instead of literally going to the best player who was on the bench (don't get me fucking started on the fact that Conforto doesn't start every day), or even literally anyone else you slightly trust to get a hit except for 0/17 Jose Reyes. Callaway has gotten really lucky I think with his moves. I have disagreed with a lot of them, but things keep working out anyway- but that's still not a valid defense of making bad moves and getting lucky. And then after the game today he basically says "Well we gotta get Reyes going". The dude fucking sucks at baseball and even if he didn't suck at it, he still sucks at life and he wouldn't be worth having on the team anyway.

Yes I'm angry. But much more at the fact that I'm finally boiled over on Reyes than the game (which was frustrating in its own right for the 0/9 RISP and letting the Nats run all over us, and score all their runs that way, and for failing to come back from last nights letdown), but Reyes is the top of the shit sundae.

I also really hate Callaway "playing the matchups". He's a hypocrite with this too. He won't bat someone Lagares) who is as hot as he'll ever be because he's 0/8 lifetime vs the pitcher. But he's ok batting bruce vs someone else hes 4/28 against. And he'll bring in Blevins to go lefty lefty with Freeman when Freeman is 9/18 lifetime vs him. Bullshit. Pitcher vs Batter is a bullshit stat anyway unless you only look at the last 2-3 years tops. Because career-wise that shit goes way back too far, when both players are likely different kinds of players anyway.
