I found out why the music in Kingdom Hearts 1.5/2.5 was bugging me; the music for the rereleases was redone by a live orchestra.

A lot of the music is pretty much the same and there are a couple that are improved, but several tracks I think sounded better in the original game. Destiny Islands, Neverland Clock Tower, and Traverse Town's battle theme all took a hit (Traverse Town normal theme sounds basically the same, cause if it ain't broke).

Just re-watched all of Assassination classroom, the end of S2 gets me good, it's nice to have an anime with a proper ending given how rare that is these days, great stuff really, Koro-sensei best sensei

Next up is.. idk yet, lucky there's only 2 weeks left 'till the season ends so there might be something good to watch then

Was really nice to have a proper ending for a series.

Started on my Attack on Titan rewatch. Forgot just how brutal it was. Looking forward to season 2 and re experiencing s1.

I think marathoning AoT is definitely the best way to go. Otherwise you get fed up with the slow pace watching it week to week.

I had been waiting to see when s3 was coming out before watching s2, but there's still no timeline that I saw, so I'm gonna finally watch the second season. I'm through 4 eps of my s1 rewatch, it's still nice and intense. I'm eagerly awaiting the part where Eren goes full hulk on some titans.

not sure if its a rumour or not but I heard that they were going for one cour a year to pace it out instead of making us wait years for two cours.

I'd be fine with that pace.

Through 16 eps of s1 so far and gonna try to finish it up today and maybe start s2.

So in trying to broaden my anime range a bit I decided to watch a series called Touseu Densetsu Akagi, a series about mahjong which is quite unlike anything I usually watch, after finishing episode 25 I was looking forward to the last episode since it would mark the end of this epic 10 episode match that was going on.... however my hopes were dashed after the second half of the episode where after the MC got his foe to continue playing with a stunt that was quite insane to see. What happened was a complete cut of the last part of said match, all of a sudden the voice-over guy says "this match will go down in history as a legend" and then cuts to a scene 35 years later where the presumed MC is just walking along and that's it.
Nothing else
What a waste of a build-up that took up almost half of the episodes to get to that point
I had been enjoying it up until this happened, I could only give it a 4/10 at the most since it disappointed me so much and that's what I did, a real waste of what could've been a great series.

Onto something new then: I watched the first episode of Boruto and to my surprise found it to be a good opener for this new series, I'll probably watch some more of it now

After watching so many good anime this one just seems so poor in comparison. I dont think it even meets Naruto standards. I will drop it for now (currently past 30) and pick it up later if I feel like it.

I started reading Overlord. 13 chapters in and I'm not sure how to feel.

There really hasn't been much tension up to this point. He is fighting shalltear now who got captures by who knows what. So that is kind of annoying.

I really like the intrigue of finding out what the world is like and the workings of all the guardians now having personalities and there own thoughts/plans. Kinda creepy honestly. It makes sense that if other players are out there they could be strong af too like the main character.

But i don't like seeing adventurers get killed :(

Whenever I read Boruto on MangaHere like I am right now, I like to leave over-hyped Tsukkomis' about any sort of Sarada leg shots or sexy poses that she makes. Because no matter what, there's always one complaining about her being too sexual. So I have to do that!!!

Been starting and dropping a bunch of stuff. After seeing so much good shit in a small period of time (monogatari, made in abyss, Ippo S1) everything else I can find just kinda feels like crap. I have started rewatching konosuba though which is still amazing. Fuck Kadokawa for killing any chance of a season 3.

Ugh, I just learned of xenoblade 2's existence (thanks dunkey videos) and noticed it's switch exclusive. I'm not about to get a switch for just that so fuck, guess I'll just miss it. Xenoblade and Xenoblade X where two of my all time favorite RPGs so this is a huge bummer.

I've been slowing down on both anime and manga again; the only thing I'm reading is occasional chapters of Yotsuba or Takagi-san. My free time has been taken up by Kingdom Hearts, and watching Arrow from the beginning.

The succubus episode in season 1 of konosuba might be my favorite. I also completely love the ending theme for the first season. It's so relaxing and peaceful and happy and just makes me want to crack open a beer and relax.

Overlord is super great. I read up to volume 7 a while back. They do a really great job of doing an isekai/MMO thing in a different way than .hack, Log Horizon, SAO etc did. Ainz is incredibly OP, but even more so incredibly cautious, calculating, and kind of heartless outside of friends and whims. He really has the MMO player mindset of trying out everything trying to break the rules, and it comes off as totally villainous from the perspective of everyone else.

Imo Overlord gets extremely great once the Men in the Kingdom arc starts in volume 5. Renner's my favorite character.

Well clearly your daughter has become a time lord and is able to create rifts in time where she plays games for hours on end without you knowing.
