So in trying to broaden my anime range a bit I decided to watch a series called Touseu Densetsu Akagi, a series about mahjong which is quite unlike anything I usually watch, after finishing episode 25 I was looking forward to the last episode since it would mark the end of this epic 10 episode match that was going on.... however my hopes were dashed after the second half of the episode where after the MC got his foe to continue playing with a stunt that was quite insane to see. What happened was a complete cut of the last part of said match, all of a sudden the voice-over guy says "this match will go down in history as a legend" and then cuts to a scene 35 years later where the presumed MC is just walking along and that's it. Nothing else What a waste of a build-up that took up almost half of the episodes to get to that point I had been enjoying it up until this happened, I could only give it a 4/10 at the most since it disappointed me so much and that's what I did, a real waste of what could've been a great series.
