Making a Pandora's battery?

I'm not as clever as all that. The battery I had in it has failed (cheap Chinese knockoff), so I'm recharging its original battery and using that instead. It still has to be on the charger to play, but at least it won't randomly cut out on me.

The source material is LN and I believe each season adapts 2 volumes (of which there were 12 when the second season ended). If there is a manga it was probably just made to sell more light novels just like the anime.

Nuuuuuu! I thought UQ Holder was going to be a long running series but it's first season is over!!!!

I'm devastated.....But at the same time, I'm happy they didn't actually end the story on this last episode. I really thought they were going to but it was a cliffhanger. Well, it was a cliffhanger if you've never read the manga.

On a side note, even though she's not a hot character, I'm pretty stoked for Dana to be introduced if there's ever a second season. At least I think her name is Dana.

I Started on Salaryman Kintarou. It's pretty funny so far, but GTO being somewhat similar was better imo. Still have a good chunk of episodes left, but I doubt my opinion will change.

Just finished the main story of Xenoblade Chronicles X (After 182 hours of recorded playtime).

And after 2 hours of grinding I finally got my hands on the Ares 90. The most powerful stock Skell. (I say "stock" since you can grind out more powerful versions of other skells if you really want)

Yeah the ares90 is really a game changer when you get it. It's honestly overpowered with only basically perfect skells outperforming it but you have to farm up all the parts and unlock em and stuff. Great game but also shit game. Fuck that one quest where you have to find all the bombs.

I mean, I can watch all the anime from this season if I feel like it. I usually burn through each season in a week or so when it ends. Definitely will probably be going after either soma or magus bride first unless I go with yuri foxgirls (might need something like this after stressful holidays). I do intend to check out houseki no kuni and maybe UQ holder but I haven't seen negima and will not read the manga.

Even though I've seen the movie I decided to read through Koe no Katachi and it's amazing. There is more context and backstory to things with a side plot not included in the movie that ties stuff together. Also it goes further. So even if you don't want to read it all if you want to read the manga ending check out the last few chapters.

It's hard to describe how I feel after finishing a story like this. Contemplative. Melancholy?

If you still havent had enough FMA, sure go for it. But most people say its inferior to Brotherhood.

Liking Granblue Fantasy, but have yet to do any upgrading. Think I'll look up some videos on youtube for help. Taking a break right now though, so I can start on the new Kino no Tabi.

Yeah just finished it and I give it seal of approval. I really enjoyed it. (Watched it with subtitles). I watched the anime before and haven't read the manga so getting the manga ending (confirmed by friend) was pretty cool.

Finally finished my konosuba rewatch. I'm sad that it's over but there are new anime to be watched. I want a third season so damn bad.

Decided after family xmas stress that Konohana Kitan would be a nice relaxing show and so far it has been great. The blend of yuri-bait/maybe actually straight up yuri with the mystical world they exist in is good. Theres a lot of beautiful scenery and peaceful music and the whole show is just relaxed and pleasant when it's not being painfully adorable. Only 3 eps in but I don't really see much changing. If you are in the mood for something slow paced and relaxing I recommend it thus far.

So I might be the only one who cares, but for those of you also interested in the Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier - EXCEED translation progress, it seems that the team has finally gotten some dedicated members and have started working on fully translating it back around late September.

At the rate they're going we might see it finished around late summer or early fall next year.

Can't wait! I've said it before but Endless Frontier was one of my favorites from the DS era. So happy to get a chance to finally play the sequel.

And Steam is having the holiday sale, so I took the opportunity to pick up Little Busters (big discount) and River City Ransom: Underground (ditto). Thought about getting Sakura Gamer, but I have been reading a lot of uncool stuff about that developer (Winged Cloud) as of late, so ... not yet.

People are really sleeping on konohana kitan. This show is amazing. Every episode is beautiful and it has this unique atmosphere thats equal parts comforting, happy and kind of sad. Not quite as much yuri as I initially hoped for but it's so much better as a whole that I don't really mind. I just finished episode 8 which was a really great one. I'll probably write a lot more about it once I actually finish it.

Yeah. Although the fox girls are attendants at an inn that does have hotsprings. The inn exists somewhere between life and death, sometimes people get there through a dream or before passing over to the afterlife but theres also a whole world there and tons of spirits and gods and whatnot also stay at the inn.

The show almost goes out of its way to not explain things which gives it a slightly eerie feeling but the actual content is relaxing slice of life. It comes off as a pleasant dream that you know you have to wake up from. Thats why its both pleasant and happy but also a bit sad. The whole thing feels very fleeting through the eyes of the guests whereas it feels like an everlasting dream through the eyes of the fox spirits. The art is also largely to blame for this as it has amazing vibrant scenery of flowers and trees and an ocean, like, I know I'm saying it a lot but there are just so many beautiful shots of scenery and stuff and it makes feel extra dreamlike.

It's way way better than I expected. I only have two episodes left but I'm already dreading it being over and hope for a second season. IIRC the source material goes on for quite a bit longer than the anime but I may be remembering that wrong. I'm really surprised someone even came up with this idea for an anime but I'm very happy it was so well executed.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, it really reminds of bartender.
