Red tome flier as expected, but it is Nowi. Not sure how to feel about that. Wish it could have been anybody else but I'll probably still chase it.

keep in mind flying red mage is the one we're basically guaranteed to get a real unit of eventually, and for free to boot (Aversa). that and the fact that i have Hinoka means i can probably skip Nowi here. though since you don't already have Hinoka, i guess if you don't particularly like her i could see chasing Nowi instead.

I'm torn on it. Hinoka is not a favorite but I like her. I don't like Nowi much but I can see myself going for her if the statline is good.

Better odds to get Hinoka too. Could potentially get an extra to fodder her for Hone fliers. It's silly that that is a consideration when horses get Gunter

Nowi is the only one id chase after, and even then its not that big of a want. I have two days left to get a bonus unit, but this is a banner i would wait on regardless. Elincia already fulfills the red flier role.

P.S. what the fuck is with their obsession with doubling up on colors the past few banners...?

Hell, that's 24 Fury 3 fodder if you really don't want to make a super Eldigan. Not the worst thing that can happen.

Just hit my new arena assault high of 4900. Found out my Kagero, under ideal conditions, can actually counter kill a Bow Lyn if it isn't honed.

Actually got 4864 in Arena, which puts me at rank 2578. I didn't expect to do so well, and while I know there is still a lot of room for change, it looks very promising for me to get into tier 20?

just blew my meager orb savings and got my first sword Ike. he's +res -spd just like my Brave Ike lol. and same as the Jeorge and Takumi i pulled from performing arts. literally almost half the 5* i've pulled are +res now. 16 out of 44.

still, that's neat. probably gotta wait for Sigurd to come back to get him but at least i have a new toy to play with.

Oyy. A month or so ago I wanted to use TA 3 on someone but didn't have the resources.

Now I have two Roys to get rid of and I can't remember who wanted TA3.

I do see I have two 3* Olivias however, so I think I'll merge one into my +2 4* one.

At 4% and 10 orbs left. I have so many ATiki's now. It feels like such a waste to not get a 5* from this.

at 4%, i'd say see if you can grind up to 20 orbs from TT and then pray. there's a 24% chance you don't get any colorless so you wanna hope for that.

if you were thinking about spending money, i don't think you're quite at the point where it's worth it, though. maybe with like a 6% pity rate i would.

I can get enough for another full summon at least, but I'm not liking my odds. I thought about spending money, but I don't like what they pulled with Ayra and Sigurd and Deidre are not must-haves, so I won't.

I did the same with the Dancer banner. Had 9 Orbs left and figured I'd go for it one last time because dancers are always useful. First one whiffed, second got a Shigure. I was up to 4.25% too.

Part of me wants to try to get one more dancer off the PA banner. But with a 3.25 rate.... eh?

Really wish I had those orbs I wasted on the TT banner so I could spend them on that. >_< Leaving behind two characters I really like (Inigo and Olivia) sucks.

It took almost 200 orbs to get Nowi. Same nature as yours. Also got another Sanaki so she can be +2 now

I got Elincia in 40 orbs from her banner, skipped Sigurd banner, and got Ayra in 140. You can stockpile quite a few if you hit gold quickly on a banner or just skip a new one altogether

Feathers are actually a valued resource. I don't really see myself using Minerva ever.

Minerva is much harder to get and is a better unit overall, but if you dont care about her/fliers, you could sac her.

I have had no luck with Arena Defense on tier 19 with my HE team. Maybe i needed to stick an Armor in it.

I have a ghetto flyer team of Camilla Cherche Valter and Palla

I guess Minerva would be an upgrade over Camilla but it's not to the extent where I'm sure it's worth 20000 feathers.

Minerva is probably the best green flier. Basically a green Valter. Should be a useful offensive threat in arena assault that offers good utility with reposition (at it's best on a flier) and the guidance seal if you wish.

The only five star exclusives I would fodder off are those with skills unobtainable from the 4* pool like Armor March, Steady Breath, Swift Sparrow, etc.

If I pulled a 5* Abel or something of that sort, yeah, I wouldn't think twice about it

Well, my Serra is at +6 right now. Once she's maxed I won't have any immediate need for more feathers I guess, even if I don't care for this Minerva's +Spd -Atk nature

I guess having Ward Fliers out of the box is nice too.

Yeah it confuses me that this is the case since I tend to think of armour knights as free wins on defence teams since they lag behind until they inevitably get totalled by the person who beats them on a colour matchup, but it is definitely the case.

Spring Camilla rather clearly has that title IMO. Minerva might be the best physical one, though (similarly, the best one who isn't seasonal).

Yea, HE is clearly much more threatening, so it doesnt make sense to me people struggle against Armors. I put in Hector and BK in the last 10 min of season, which was most likely too late.

Yeah, Spring Camilla is likely better. I was thinking only of units you can summon now, and the only other consideration is Cherche

I think fully optimized Cherche is probably better than Minerva honestly. She's been such a powerhouse for me like all the time. Only real weakness is beefy sword types. Mages I can't really call a loss as much as a draw because it's basically sudden death as she can usually one shot even red mages with her stupid high attack + Brave Axe.

That being said nothing wrong with Axevalter (aside from a total lack of attachment to the character it's linked to) and unlike Cherche she doesn't take a ton of investment to make work as her starting kit is really good.

Cherche is better on player phase, but Minerva has a good player enemy phase too. I have both and use them on different teams. Minerva benefits more from being on a flying team since she makes better use of all the buffs. I pair Cherche with Delthea and call it a day
