I've done simlar things in the past. It really depends on how much you want Arya. I'd cut my losses at just 3.5% unless it was a unit that I desperately wanted.

And even then I still wouldn't expect to draw them, but I'd justify it in my mind that I like the character enough for it to be worth spending orbs just for the chance.

That's precisely the problem. I don't even really care about Arya much so I don't know why I started drawing from it to begin with (well, I do, it's because I wanted an excuse to draw Reds since it's been a long while since I've chased a red unit).

Usually I will keep going until I at least combo break but it feels like potentially wasted orbs here, moreso than usual.

I guess I'll hold off till the banner is about to rotate out and see if any banners before that point have caught my eye, go in then. I'll get by with Lachesis (who I also forgot I had when starting the draws whoops) and the TT dude as bonus units for now.

fuck i was on match 7 of AA and didn't get it in before maintanence. was trying to rush through beginner in like 8 minutes after failing expert on stage 5. assuming the 7th match didn't count, i only got a score of like 3800.

Hinoka is finally back on a banner but the timing isn't great for me. I'm feeling like it is just not worth it to pull for a character anymore unless they have a good legendary weapon or are a personal favorite

i mean, giving someone +18 atk and +6 spd is kinda better than any legendary effect. but i guess you only have 1 mage that can benefit from that.

and who knows, Halloween might have a flying red mage + another flier with hone fliers.

I was expecting TT to start this weekend since thats when they usually start and didnt realize my mistake until an hour before the expiration of daily quests when i saw the TT tab. I was able to get the three runs in, but definitely would have done more if i had been paying attention.

This is definitely bad timing for Hinoka. She would be nice to have, but SCorrin wrecks things quite well with Blarblade+ and Fortify Fliers boost already. Im throwing all the orbs i get at the WoHW banner until i get another 5*. If i still dont get a bonus unit, so be it, Arvis will have to do.

Male Robin crushes this Tempest Trial. There's so many ranged colorless/red for him to bait out and melee reds for him to facetank without a care. It helps take the edge off of my not having a focus unit outside of a crappy Arvis.

This banner keeps throwing -Atk swords at me. I now have two -Atk Athena's and she actually doesn't seem that bad with it, but there's so much competition for reds that it's hard to justify her being anything other than medium priority at best.

too late. spent what little i had going for Sigurd this morning after getting Olivia a couple days ago. i will save my 8 orbs and whatever else until the video though i guess. not like i have much choice, i won't hit 20 orbs until Saturday anyway and i'm sure the vid will be up by then.

man, fuck this game. i got up to 5% 5* chance pulling on nothing but reds for sigurd, then i get a summon with no reds and get tiltyu on my one pull there.

this is two banners in a row this happened, with the same happening with inigo/olivia and getting no greens.

I actually draw the off banner color if I come up blank just to avoid crap like that. Unless of course there were no colorless either, then you were pretty well cooked regardless.

People are pointing out that it's probably Leo as one of the silhouettes, but I really hope it's Henry instead (his cowl or whatever has a pretty similar shape so it could work). I would like a Henry without a garbo stat distribution. Fits a Halloween theme way better too.

Ideally as an axe as I usually made Axe Murderer Henry in the game instead of keeping him as a mage.

Honestly I almost like Henry's stats as is. Defensive stat spreads can be good but you can't utterly tank both offensive stats to do it.

Like I think Robin and Matthew have deceptively decent stat spreads. Henry's is just... he can't really do anything without a special proc, and he's not even that good at tanking because he gets doubled by everything. Real shame.

Henry is just an inferior Sophia. He could run raventome well with that line. Poor attack and speed gets him nowhere

Male Robin has a really good stat spread. Having perfectly balanced offense and defense means that Triangle Adept lets him fight/tank almost every colorless and red. Matthew's spread can be worked with if you have a Close Counter or Steady Breath to throw around so he can make use of his Defense stat.

Henry's spread is just trash though. Him and Odin are easily the two worst units in the game I think.

Henry at least becomes a defensive beast with some killing capability at +10 with summoner support. i saw one that could tank and kill +10 QP Reinhardt and that was without deflect magic.

Odin doesn't seem to have any sort of niche at all

Yeah Odin's is definitely on a whole different level of bad. Like he has no good stats at all. At least Henry has good def out of the box, and a Spd that is so low you can punt it as your bane since you just accept you're getting doubled by everyone.

Though I think +10 Odin with Summoner Support wouldn't exactly be awful either.

This has me wonder which unit is the actual worst with SI in mind. Odin can stick with Blarblade or go with Raven/Owl, but Blarblade is useless if we dont take buffs into consideration, which we probably dont for comparison purposes.

There are probably ways to figure it out.

SPD in particular has wildly different value for different base values. I think 32 might actually be one of the worst base values to have there in that it's high enough that you're paying a lot from your stat total to attain it, but not high enough to reliably double things or avoid being doubled every time. Also high speed has less value as attack decreases.

Balance on defensive stats is generally bad unless they're both low or both high. You'd prefer one to jut out so you can bait attacks vs certain types and not die.

High HP is generally wasted on units that have low values on both defensive stats

Attack and Speed are more valuable than the other 3 stats in general

Just brief glance through the stats, knowing nothing about any discussions on this (maybe a lot of people think Jakob is actually awesome I don't know) top 5 worst units would probably be

1. Odin
2. Henry
3. Jakob
4. Merric
5. Jaffar

Were I to take a guess. But really Odin's kind of on an Island. Think Henry is pretty comparable to the other 4 honestly.

It's funny you mention 32 being one of the worst Speed scores, because I was thinking about Ike's base 31 speed and how I think it works really well for him if you use him defensively. He doesn't double much but he doesn't (usually) get doubled either), and Distant Counter + Quick Riposte makes him an excellent baiter. It depends on the character I suppose.

I'd definitely be willing to agree with the notion that Odin is next-level bad compared to everyone else. Merric I think would work as a less-effective version of Robin if you slapped a Raven tome and Triangle Attack on him.

Jakob and Jaffar aren't great but they're usable...mostly. In general I think that a big problem with underwhelming colorless units is that you can't abuse the weapon triangle to fit them into a niche. I like the nature of colorless on my Felicia but only because she already fits a strong niche. I'm not sure what you would do with a Jakob or Jaffar.

This is the true travesty right here. Jaffar was so amazing the moment you recruited him(Granted he's very late game). Hell his first appearance is him effortlessly dispatching someone, and the first time you actually meet him he's killing mooks left and right.

Here he softens up targets at best... and is LnD 3 fodder at worst.

I think Ike is a bit wacky in that most units that can double him can actually be one shorted by him. I think 31 is good if you have the ATK to back it up but if you're a defensive character it's kinda eh cause glass cannons can double you without getting killed by the coumterhit

Ike can't one-shot that many people (unless they're something like Triangle Attack Cecilia) but with Quick Riposte he'll two-shot them on a bait-in. Built-in Distant Counter is too good.

Speaking of Distant Counter, if I had a spare Hector (or a Hector at all) I might sack him for Distant Counter on Arden. Arden with Distant Counter, Follow-Up Ring, Defense Ploy/Threaten Def, and Deflect Magic 3 Seal is S+ material. Definitely on the level of Hector or Effie.

IS said it would fix colorless hell but hasnt done a thing. Its so depressing Jaffar had been reduced to whatever you want to call him. I used to think Jakob was good in the early stages of the game and leveled to high 20s, i think, before dropping him and not touching him again.

IS hasnt even bothered to come out with desirable new daggers/healers. Olivia barely counts.

Catgirl Sakura

Kitty Paddle+ with a base power of 8.... that deals effective damage to foes using magic. Also Def/Res -7 after battle.

Special Glacies

A slot is Warding Stance with gives +6 Res during combat(2/4/6 most likely)

B slot Guard

C Slot... Dagger Valor! Heh....

Very interesting. Certainly looks like a threat to some of my favorite units!

Jakob in a... I'm not sure. He's wielding a bow which unfortunately means he's going to be the Sakura blocker...

Monsterous Bow+
It's a bow version of Veronica's Tome. That is to say, it inflicts panic on foes within 2 spaces after attacking.

Bracing Blow 2 with gives +4 Def/Res when initing

Live for Honor which is not a B slot I thought I'd see again. But I suppose with badges now being useful, it gives it a new appreciation. A second chance for those who never got Spring Xander!

Witch Nowi

She's a red tome user.

Grimoire Allows her to move to a space adjacent to an ally with 2 spaces, if she has 50% or more hp

A slot is Attack/Res Bond(1-2-3) that gives +5 Att/Res during combat if adjacent to an ally. Looks like a reverse spur.

Live for Bounty except do we really care about shards/crystals? I mean badges sure.... Ah well.

C slot is Hone Fliers, for those of you who can't get Hinoka.

It looks like they're trying to give players easier access to certain skills with this group of heroes. Two of them from hard to get 5* exclusives, and two skills brought back into the game. That second hero is strange though. Either we're getting something absolutely crazy, or a skill restriction is being broken for this one unit.

Annoyingly there's a blocker on this banner as well, but it's hardly surprising at this point. Wouldn't be the first time that color had two limited units were chilling under it either.

Honestly I'm not totally sure what to go for. 3 of these units fall under "Kind of like" and the 4th is probably going to get pulled going for one of them, knowing my luck.

Yeah, I've gotten to the point where, off the top of my head, there's no characters I'd really jump at the bit to summon for. Maybe Micaiah but that's about it. All my favorites are in the game and I prioritize using them over anything else. So I might as well blow orbs on stuff like this because why not? Even if someone like Ayra is powercreeped to hell, I don't care about her so I'm not going to use her.

i'm totally the opposite. i've always liked using a bunch of different units, even if they're weak and i don't like them. so a game like this, where they might give great art or fun skills to a character i dislike or don't care about and yeah, i end up sorta wanting everything. and i don't have any of my real favorites except Marth, who i don't even use because he's completely inferior to Lucina and even she is not really good enough to use in anything remotely difficult anymore.
