after thinking about it, i think what i really mean is that i'd prefer work that starts as 2 and gradually transitions into 1 after a certain amount of time. progression and eventual mastery with periodic challenges, in video game terms i suppose.

if you don't think it'll ever transition into 1 i might stay away. however, i imagine if you're teaching stuff to/training people, the longer you teach/train it the more it'll become second nature
