My only main hope that wasn't clear in the video is that the dagger weapon forge buffs the hell out of them relatively to be closer to on par with the other weapons. I mean it buffed Ephraim's weak ass lance so you never know.

If it does that, awesome update

Well, if it doesn't do that, there's always next time I guess. I'll still take my healer upgrade happily.

yeah noteable weapons are

durandal/aura/excalibur/naga/tyfring to upgrade to updated weapons

sol katti/mysteltain/siegmund/hauteclaire/fujin yumi/deathly dagger which is basically the same as before

and getting actual access to slaying weapons (woah)

honestly i absolutely havent expected any update to ephraim even having expected weapon upgrades. but i'm pretty glad i havent even given him any skills because fury is going to be pretty bad on him if you decide to give him the brash assault siegmund.

kinda feel like a defensive A skill on him is best with that on him.

Eh, Fury doesn't matter. He'll lose the HP threshold after one combat anyway.

I gave mine TA and lancebreaker and it has been quite good. TA makes him more bulky than Fury against the things he will actually be fighting

Well that's kinda better I guess. Slightly worse for Fury users I guess but yeah not really a dealbreaker imo. My Ephraim has Defiant Attack 3 in the A slot which is wonky as hell but I was thinking "after the first fight he'll usually be below 50% so why not"

Dorcas is the star of this banner I think. He's basically Hector with 2 movement speed.

I didn't watch the live stream, so I'm just going to comment on what you guys have said.

A mixed banner this time, huh? Joshua doesn't look as suave and his Spd doesn't cut it these days, and Lute manages to look older than her GBA self whereas the pattern up until now has been the reverse. Mia looks pretty good, how she would love Regnal Astra.

They finally buffed healers, huh? And cooldown changes? Guess I'll have to wait for the ingame announcements if no one wants to do a coverage here.

Well, those weapons already had superior versions. Naga can become Deirdre's Divine Naga. But all (or most) weapons can become enhanced. Silver Lance+ was shown to have several branches granting different stat boosts.

8% focus with no pity breakers. Units are those in the picture I posted. Not sure if I'll pull, but I'm entering hoard mode now.

I honestly have no interest in that 8% banner. Every color has at least one dud for me so there might as well be pity breakers.

Ephraim gets a weapon upgrade and Eirika doesn't? That's quite strange.

They have somehow decided TT rewards have to be swords, with Clive being the exception.

Seasonal Caeda and Xander are quite odd choices for the banner. No one really wants them!

Lute's gonna drop to 4* and is inferior to my current blue mages (why couldn't she be red, dammit)

Elincia is also one of my favorites and more useful, but i really don't like her art

Ayra, Hector and Deirdre on an 8% banner. my Ike and Celica also have bad IVs.

I'm guessing they'll slowly make more weapons upgradable over time. Like how when other mobages buff characters they don't do all of them at once but slowly over time.

We already had the Black Knight who was 4th. The new banner adds 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th. So they pretty much just went down the list and added the characters with the highest vote totals that weren't already in the game. This also means they are very blatantly skipping Micaiah.

My free roll was literally 5 red, with the actual draw being a 3* Raigh, my least favorite unit in the game probably.

The more I think about the 8% banner, the more likely I will skip it.

Blue : Xander and Caeda no thanks
Red : Don't care about Celica. Have a neutralish Ayra and a bad Ike
Green : I'd like Camilla, but don't want to pull for distant counter or Dierdre
Colorless : Don't want Genny, and I'm doubtful it is worth wading through colorless for a chance at better than neutral Lyn or a Cordelia.

I guess green is the color to pull for, but I think I'm more tempted by Mia or Dorcas

I like all of the new art. The only thing that's off is Joshua's default portrait face, and only because it's the same exact face that artist draws on everyone.

Mias front portrait is fine, its the side that bugs me. Its porbably the same artist that cant draw noses.

Dorcas has a distinctly different style than the other characters. He looks like he was drawn for a 3D game, so thats why hes awkward.

I like Joshs art the best, but yea, his front portrait is a little off.

I think Joshua's poses that aren't the front pose are completely fine, and what little I've heard of the voice sounds okay, so I don't think I'll mind him.

Lute definitely needs more smugness though.

No Miki Hoshii.....ah well, Rider is not a bad replacement.

i really like Mia's Heroes JP voice actor. didn't know she was Rider, just Sakaki. Josh and Dorcas have great JP voices, too. Lute's the only dud there, i prefer her English voice.

I have such an urge to pull, but have to hold out to see what shenanigans IS has planned for the 4th bonus unit.

I'm tempted to pull too but would rather wait until they give us 100 free barrack slots. The banner will still be there. Still might decide to skip it. Mia is good, but Ayra and Athena play a similar role. Dorcas is a two movement Hector but he's a pretty forgettable character.

New BHB. The tried and true just use Hector strategy works like a charm
