It will take 2 of her level 3 S/X specials to kill a generic when lined up properly. It is a very unsafe move though. Her level 1 T/Y special heals and level 2 creates a barrier. The barrier can only take a certain amount of damage though. This means that in expert mode she can take exactly 1 attack before it bursts, stunning her and leaving her open to a whole lot more damage. Be careful with it. In any case, yeah. Tons of ways to keep her musou filling up and tons of ways to spend it for AoE magic. She's just a straight up squishy mage and it's glorious. Nobody else in the game plays like her. If you try to just use normal and charged combo strings to fight w/ her, you're doing it wrong and are going to have a bad time. |

In SW2, the point was that her normal attacks sucked, but she could charge musou by hitting enemies w/ her weak but AoE C1 attack. And both of her special attacks were very powerful spells that were different depending on which version you used (1, 2, or 3 button presses in conjunction w/ the special stance). so she was literally a mage. Her specials were INCREDIBLE, to the point that I almost never used her actual musou attack (her spells consumed musou, though less than a musou attack), but her physical attacks were crap. I actually really liked her in SW2, just b/c her design meant she played differently than anyone else. I loved how SW2 XL introduced powerful specials that consume musou (Motochika had it, too), shame they moved away from that in the newer SW games. But yeah, WO games have character switching and lose the specials from SW, so I'm sure it messed up her whole move set / design badly. |

The bosses and other higher ups go before everyone else, w/ the exception of if one person is the one I'm specifically directing the email to, then s/he goes first. You just never know until you find out the hard way if one of your bosses is a petty enough ass hole to care about that sort of thing, so it's best to just play it safe. |

Poor movie probably never had a chance, they should've rebranded or something, the name is just box office poison now. It's best hope is good word of mouth carries it in the following weeks to have minimal drop off and it does well in the long haul. That can happen, just as a hyped up movie can have a huge opening weekend, turn out to suck, and lose 80% of the audience by weekend 2. Nichtcrawler X posted... Pretty sure most people are not really back into cinema mode and they should not be.Yup. Which is why thinking that releasing to online streaming badly hurts ticket sales is ridiculous. If anything, it proves more people will log out or open private browsing to see posts since their topics will be checkered, meaning more interaction between the blockers and the blockedYup. Before I'd see a post or 2 missing, realize, "oh, must be a Mead post. Nothing of value was lost" and move on. Now that I'm missing giant gaps of posts, I'm absolutely gonna check it. As mentioned, I could even be missing seeing posts directly quoting and responding to me. This change CREATED the problem. And that's literally the first and only time I'll ever quote Mead (which he has since done to me as well, which I want to point out b/c I know damn well he WILL be that pedantic and petty, if he hasn't already reported it). I don't know why he's got such a delusional fucking victim complex, but I literally not once have ever quoted or replied to him since he blocked me, until now. I assume there will be some battles where you're alone, so they just removed it entirely... If not, then that's a really odd and unfortunate choice. Because yeah, that was the whole point. Send B to the next place you want to go, switch to B, send A to the next objective, switch to A, etc... Basically no running around the map. |

Not a fan of DW overall, but DW4 is my favorite, then DW3. The enemies don't just stand there and the artificial difficulty has taken a bit of a back seat. It's still there to an extent, but OHKOs being the only genuine threat are a thing of the past. In fact, there's hardly any OHKOs in the game unless your character is severely underleveled in regards to the difficulty you're playing on, much like in past games. Enemies are more aggressive and are constant threats to your health again.I don't think they were ever "easy", there were plenty of higher difficulty battles where you could get 2-hit, 3-hit, or 4-hit. And when characters can attack that quickly w/o a stamina bar like Souls games, you can absolutely get WTF combo'd to death suddenly on the hard difficulties. But I did hate how the mooks got dumbed down and weakened over time. I'd rather have less KOs and enemies be tougher, like in the older games. So...sounds good. The reviews I saw, it looked like the same old useless grunts, glad that's not the case. Heck, I was actually pretty down on the game until release because I couldn't for the life of me figure out what Koei's marketing strategy was. Cut characters, low amount of movesets(and I'm more lenient on clones than most fans), redesigns(which I've grown to like).... But hey, NEW ARTSTYLE!!!I dislike the new artstyle, looks a lot more generic and same-y, and if they wanted more realism they failed on that front, too. Like, Mitsuhide was bald, not a pretty boy w/ long flowing hair. SW has never had clones, so I wouldn't expect them on a cut cast. As for Warriors Orochi 4, it's basically WAS with the DW and SW cast. And the Ultimate upgrade was a complete ripoff. Considering what Ultimate did for the previous game, what we got this time around is a joke.Ok, I'd like more elaboration on this. I hated WAS b/c it was super dumbed down musou combat and really poorly balanced. I love the Deception characters, but it's literally pointless to play a trap setup type style when the reward for pulling it off is being as good as the other characters. And the damn "Brave" system where enemies are difficulty ranked separately. End result seemed to be if you tried to do any side missions off the main path, your commander would always freaking die, so you had to just beeline it every battle to the finish. It's like the thing musou games have always been criticized for, but this time it's actually really really fucking present. So...how exactly is Orochi 4 like WAS? Did it actually have the simplified move sets, stupid phantom KOs thing, Brave rankings, etc...? Krow_Incarnate posted... Jim Sterling is a schlubYeah. I like a lot of his stuff especially w/ corporations and microtransactions. But some stuff really pisses me off. One is his unfair treatment of the SW series. I've NEVER seen him actually make a video review of a SW game, only DW games. He only ever brings up SW to slander both DW and SW as a group and often in the process proves he knows abso fucking lutely nothing about the SW series (such as "DW and SW have always been plagued with clone characters" -- uh, Jim, Samurai Warriors, has NEVER had clones, you fucking hack!) LinkPizza posted... I like it. The one thing Im not big on it blocking. Especially since its hard to do in the middle of a combo. In HW and AoC, you had B to dodge. And it easily canceled other stuff. They say Youngman use Bto evade. But it usually seems to jump instead. And it doesnt make you run crazy fast after use. Other than that, I like itIn the first few SW games, they had an evade button (DW didn't, may have adopted it later). SW2 even introduced dodge canceling and jump canceling for the series (limited to certain characters b/c they all had unique skill trees, another thing that made early SW games way better than DW). Either SW 3 or 4 replaced it w/ a "spirit gauge". When full, you can go into Rage Mode and become stupid overpowered and invincible for a bit, but you can also spend part of the charge to dodge out of being combo'd, so I guess that was their dodge replacement. Does SW5 still have that? |

The base game is fine and all, but the Bitterblack Isle dungeon included w/ DA was by far my favorite part of the game. CinderLock posted... I thought it would be more giant monster slaying and less political drama. Really enjoying it thoughI mean....it is. Plot starts off big, then fades into the background until you get near the end w/ most of the middle of the plot being effectively side quests. You'll encounter plenty of big monsters to climb on and fight. |

They'd rather tolerate a massive homeless population and a middle class perpetually sliding closer and closer to poverty if it means more money for them, than to actually fix the problem. |

He kills any who so much as insult him and even the times he kills criminals, they're mostly already in jail and not a threat to anyone. Plus, Japan in particular is notorious for forcing confessions from suspects so a lot of the people in jail are likely innocent. |

EVERYONE with at least two brain cells to rub together knew what would fucking happen when the CDC announced that starting May 2021 it was Mask Off Dance Off time. Literally had an entire year of selfish morons congregating w/o masks, having parties to intentionally get each other sick for "herd immunity", protesting lockdown and mask mandates, and vehemently refusing to get vaccinated. Gee, I wonder what will happen when the CDC says it's ok to ditch the masks if you're fully vaccinated without requiring verification that you're vaccinated. Just like...use the honor system! I'm sure the millions of people who repeatedly expressed how much contempt they have for public health and safety will cooperate. What could possibly go wrong?! Seriously, the CDC can go fuck themselves and the Biden admin should take a hatchet to their personnel staff and replace them with people that can do their fucking job. Although at this point, even that won't help, the CDC's credibility as an authority is in the toilet. Trayvon was trying to go home and get away from the deranged stalker following him, George was the deranged stalker. Like... even if Trayvon threw the first punch, he was being provoked by Zimmerman. But we don't know who started the fight, we just have the killer's word on the matter. I will never believe the killer's testimony on its own w/o evidence to back it up. You don't see many of them say, "Yeah, I totally started it. It was my fault the fight happened and I ended up killing that guy." Wonder why...? |
