In no particular order, I like Jim Sterling, Conan O'Brien (Clueless Gamer, if it counts, which IMO it should), Yahtzee (Zero Punctuation / Escapist), Omegaevolution, KWing, Chuggaconroy, HCBailley, TotalBiscuit, Classic Game Room (forgot the actual channel name)...

Some do news, some do let's plays. GameTrailers and Destructoid are probably the most mainstream gaming review sites I generally like.

I was once told it had a cancer risk, which is why I had been sticking to regular. Not sure how valid the claim is so I should probably look into that someday.

I mean, the fact that it outright blocks a natural bodily function intended to cool you off makes it sound reasonable that it's harmful. But yeah, never bothered to investigate it, just went along w/ it.

Anyways, for me it is Jackson. Probably the closest to a Libertarian president we have ever had.

Uh...NO. Teddys most famous motto was "speak softly and carry a big stick."
Trump is the exact fucking opposite of that ethos!
Plus, Teddy was the biggest trust-buster we've ever had as president and promoted a ton of federal regulations (FDA) and created the national parks system, claiming stretches of nature as public land for the public good. Trump actively is trying to destroy regulations that protect people and give away public lands to private industry, and has a plethora of corporate CEOs in his cabinet.
They literally could not be more opposite.

Not surprised a fan of Genocide Jackson* doesn't know his history too well. Coincidentally, Jackson is a lot like Trump, which is probably why Trump admires him so much. Gotta love that spoils system....

*Ok, "Ethnic Cleansing Jackson" is more accurate, but doesn't roll off the tongue as well

Agreed, even before president he was such an amazing and bold political figure.

Yeah, Teddy Roosevelt is probably my favorite.
Just awesome dude, and seemed to genuinely be trying to help out the people w/ trust busting, FDA, national parks system, etc...
Plus he came the closest to busting the two party system anyone ever has...at the expense of putting Wilson in office (though Taft wasn't any better, so meh)

And for the sake of naming a more obscure President...#2 choice would be James Monroe. Dude was so popular by the whole country that he basically ran unopposed the 2nd election, and one elector had to "go rogue" and vote for someone else just to keep him from being the only president other than Washington to get a 100% sweep of the electoral college.
You don't unite the country that much w/o being really damn good at your job, and the Monroe Doctrine is one of the best lasting presidential legacies we've ever had (yes, I know he didn't write it, he's still the one who delivered it and had the guts to tell the European super powers to leave the New World alone).

Cheese is excellent on burgers. It also is an essential component of cheese steaks and tacos and a popular option as a snack on crackers.
I also like it on salads (feta cheese), plus you know...cheesecake....

Well if you remove things like income and estate taxes and shift them to things like sales and gas taxes then you've effectively pushed some of the tax burden off the rich and onto the poor.

It's not the cheating, as shitty as that is. It's the denial and outright lying about it. Which was also the real issue with Clinton and ultimately why he was impeached.

People should expect more transparency and at the very least to not be lied to by elected officials. Even if they tend to be scummy. Accountability is vital.

Lying about personal life while being in office, even if the event took place prior to election, is a shitty precedent. The paying off was only done during the campaign to prevent news stories and interviews from coming out, so it has relevance and potential influence to him even being elected at all.

Low-hanging fruit. The serious charges will still take time to finish being investigated and prosecuted. In the mean time, this one's pretty much already been confirmed. It's just easy, and the public loves hearing about politician's sex scandals and infidelities. The media always swarms over this stuff, regardless of which party the guy belongs to.

HW implements 3D Zelda games' fake difficulty of "wait for it!"
All the monsters and officers, the best way to kill them is to patiently wait for them to expose their weakness, then attack. It's very passive and boring. Those used to other Warriors games are used to having options to guard-break foes and create your own openings, actively. By far my biggest gripe w/ HW, though I still think it was a really good game.

Sterling's traditionalist as hell. He doesn't even like the Empires series.

Sterling is the series' most high-profile defender. If he thinks it's shit, that's a bad sign. Wish I had listened to him about Warriors All-Stars.
I suppose he is a bit traditionalist due to his clear and nonsensical bias against SW compared to DW (and making it seem like he'd never played SW before given what he thought was "new"), but he still at least gave SW 4 an overall good review in the end.

Why are you saying it's not that different from the original? There's a third timeline with a new scenario, at least one new character, new music tracks, voice acting, and improved graphics. That's plenty different IMO, especially new story.

Also, I read a review from someone who played both versions now, that the PC update ruins the beautiful ending the original game had, which sucks for anyone playing RH for the first time.

Still pre-ordered it, though. Dat art book.

Missed voting in it, but kinda hard to choose an option if I had.

On the one hand...
- I'd always choose playing with my wife and/or best friend since childhood if I could; they always make games more enjoyable

On the other hand:
- Most of the games I like are single player only (RPGs, Platinum action games, etc...)
- My wife seldom wants to play video games and my best friend lives far away now

High school was pretty easy...
Didn't need to spend a lot of time studying or doing homework to make the honor roll, and no extra-curricular activities available interested me.

But damn...college....especially the first year. Calculus and calculus-based physics was way harder than high school math and algebra-based physics and I had to work my ass off studying to get through the first two semesters w/ a B average.
On top of that...did two martial arts, spent a lot of time in the gaming club and was in a few D&D games that'd run for like 6 hour sessions weekly, anime club, ball room dancing, fencing, philosophy club, SCA...
Between all that and studying at the library, literally wouldn't get back to the dorm until like midnight most nights, then had 8 am classes.
Gradually cut back on things after the first year, but it still boggles my mind how the fuck I did all that.

EDIT: Forgot work! Worked on campus 10-15 hours a week, depending on semester. Crazy.

The victim seemed to have issues and was attempting "suicide by cop." The cops arriving could've just stayed back and let him continue trying to deescalate the situation...but....nah....easier to just shoot the guy.

The IOC certainly would like to have a 2nd Olympics and tell everyone they're real Olympics, but that doesn't mean they are. Don't recall ever reading about the ancient Greeks ever feeling a need to make another set of games to make winter sports feel important.

thats cause the greeks never saw snow unless they climbed a mountain which they were scared to do cause of the gods. just cause it didn't happen in ancient times doesn't mean it's not valid. the winter games were invented decades ago and they were an instant hit. not once has the world missed a winter games from happening. if it wasn't that great, it wouldn't have caught on. and winter culture is very important in many countries.

The Greeks literally named the whole event after the mountain that they believed the gods they were honoring lived on.
Not to mention their mythology has the most well-known myth for explaining the changing of the seasons (Persephone).
They knew what snow was. They had mountains. And clearly they didn't really give a shit about either when it came to sports, and neither do I.

just because a sport is in the winter does not make it a fake sport. there is no logic behind that. they are still hard to do, and the athletes are incredibly skilled. I will never understand this idea that if snow or ice is involved that it's somehow easy to do, and anyone can do it, and it's not a sport.

Not sure I like the character design changes and additions, but I loved the original so presumably Atlus knows what they're doing.

My overall tax withholding (federal, state, medicare, and social security) went down by a whopping 2% total. Mind you, I have no idea if it'll actually be 2% next year when I file my taxes and see the end result.

But yeah, totally worth adding $1.5 trillion to the debt!
