Not much of a change or improvement over the first because this is a DS - > 3DS remake oddly enough, but if you never played the first game and have a 3ds or 2ds it's the perfect chance to play a pretty solid rpg with time travel elements

Well, I never!

Played the DS one a long time ago, but I actually never owned it, so I'm picking this up.

It's a phenomenal game that everyone should play.

Plus, all the extra goodies that come with the launch edition are pretty nice too.

Played and own the original, but I think I'll get this one too. I mean...art book...
Not sure I like the character design changes and additions, but I loved the original so presumably Atlus knows what they're doing.

They're charging you for original artwork dlc, and there's a slew of new content dlc that's being released weekly starting on launch day. Why aren't these things just included with the game? This isn't a brand new game; it's a rerelease.

I love the original to death, but fuck this pointless remaster. It's completely worthless in every conceivable way. Pure cash grab.

Why are you saying it's not that different from the original? There's a third timeline with a new scenario, at least one new character, new music tracks, voice acting, and improved graphics. That's plenty different IMO, especially new story.

Bolded is EXTREMELY debatable....

Also, I read a review from someone who played both versions now, that the PC update ruins the beautiful ending the original game had, which sucks for anyone playing RH for the first time.

Still pre-ordered it, though. Dat art book.

Love the voice acting

This one was a no-brainer for me. The DS original is one of the best RPGs I have ever played (IMO), so this expanded remaster was a definite buy. ... Still no idea why they changed the art style, but the story seems to be intact.
