Although it's true dinosaurs evolved into birds, the chicken is not the closest relative. Chickens are basically man made which means they're extremely modern evolutionarily. Pretty much every other bird would be more closely related to dinosaurs. People just say that because the juxtaposition of a chicken and T-Rex is silly.

Because it was literally pulling itself in multiple directions? It couldn't decide if it was an old school survival horror game, RE4 2, Outlast, an arcade shooter, or MGS. RE7 had a lot of these elements but it blended them all together. Each section of RE8 feels like a different game, that was developed independently, and you don't know what you're going to get next as you go along. It was a kitchen sink game.

"Too much action" etc. Yea, this isnt RE1 and 2 anymore lol. There isnt a single gaming franchise of 20+ years that is completely true to its origins.

RE has evolved a ton since it started. That wasn't the issue here. RE7 was a breath of fresh air that mixed a lot of old school ideas with new school stuff. RE8 just did way too much at once. It wore way too many hats. It was still really solid but felt like a kind of directionless grab bag rather than trying to build off what worked in the last game.

This is one of those topics where someone pretends like they spent an egregious amount of money on something stupid so we make fun of them right?

I think it just had the most storytelling of the series. It's mostly the same stupid bullshit it's always been. Whether you think more of that is better or worse is up to you.

It's still pretty solid but the past few years of them just buying the licensing for garbage so they can call them Netflix originals has hurt them a lot. They need to put more effort into getting actual good movies, and making quality originals. I think the only reason they still have such a big base is that they're the original service and a lot of people haven't moved on to something else.

It was a really fun game but just not Resident evil at all. A lot like 4 was as well.

Was Italian really number 1? I don't know anyone who would pick that over Mexican or Chinese. Couldn't even tell you the last time I went to an Italian restaurant.

Just watched it for the first time in at least 15 years. Can't remember the last time I cracked up that hard. The cast is absolutely stacked and Tim Curry becoming increasingly unhinged at the end is amazing. The multiple endings are incredible. Can't believe they pulled that back then.

You could even turn it into a fun ceremony for when they turn 13 and have the chip removed. A chip mitzvah.

Why get it removed? Everyone should be chipped. People are kidnapped or go missing all the time. It would also help with tracking down criminals. Everyone being locatable would save countless lives.

I didn't even know insidious had that many movies. Only saw the first and don't remember a single frame of it. Also, someone needs to take away Blumhouse's thesaurus. They can't just keep naming movies "Evil".

Loved all the new godzilla movies It's strange that folks here dislike these films. I'm watching and buying this like I did the last 3 films.

Even the people that like them seem to hate KOTM. I thought that one was an absolute blast. People complain about the human drama in them but literally every godzilla movie ever is mostly humans and the acting in these is at least a lot better than the Showa era stuff.

I enjoyed it. Had some really great horror moments. And although it was completely pointless and unasked for, the lore it introduced was really cool. Also an incredibly beautiful movie. The only really bad stuff was the character writing. But it was written by Damon Lindelof so...

I've always thought people who play Bethesda games in third person are psychopaths but, I'm on PC, I will have third person mode.

I think there's an option somewhere but the default is to play similar songs when it runs out of songs you put on there. Spotify seems to revel in having the most user unfriendly interface.

Definitely worth free. Probably the best of the modern Farcrys. Although that's a low bar.

I've gotten the same thing for saying I don't support either end. So, my questions aren't coming from that. Im genuinely curious how others who claim to not be loyal to either end feel about billionaires.

Admittedly Id be closer to a communist but in a not extreme way. I think people who do more should get more, I just don't think the difference in ends should be so extreme.

I can respect that but I don't agree with the opinion that being wealthy is inherently immoral. There certainly are many wealthy people who exploit others to make money but a lot of the upper crust are just making passive income from their companies. If Jeff Bezos opened up Amazon and then just sat at his desk not touching it, he would still be a billionaire. Would that be considered ethical wealth? You try operating a company like Amazon, Microsoft, or Apple, and not becoming filthy rich. There are a ton of loopholes and exploits many people use to make more money, but I don't think the central idea of having wealth is inherently immoral. But the government definitely shouldn't be kow twoing to these companies and should crack down on things like tax loopholes.
