I've never cared for the new soft-MMO genre and will never spend a cent on microtransactions but if they have actual expansions and things and chumps buying loot boxes gets me good stuff for free or cheap I'm down. Its hard to make supporting games post launch a bad thing. |

| specialkid8 02/05/18 10:36:22 PM #1 | I finally got around to watching Peaky Blinders and Grace is awful. She starts out with her mission and "falls in love" with Tommy. Then she plays both sides against each other, betrays them both, tries to kill her boss and runs away. Flash forward and shes married and comes back to rub it in Tommy's face. Then she tells Tommy she really loves him after she cheats with him and gets pregnant and wants to leave her husband. She does so and he kills himself and she doesn't even care. Her and Tommy get married and he still doesn't really seem to love her. That's at least partly the fault of his stoic character but still. Flash forward again and she dies; now suddenly she's the center of the universe and he will move heaven and earth to get revenge and mopes about her for months. It seems like we're supposed to like her but she was just terrible. |

Did they splice stuff into a finished movie like Lane or was the script actually edited to fit in Cloverfield stuff? They literally could have just had that interview with plot dude as part of some ARG and that's all you really need from this movie. That in itself was kind of interesting but it had nothing to do with the movie. It also could have used more goofy reality shit. The arm thing and Jensen were cool but they really didn't play around with the idea. |

I wish they would stop just repurposing unrelated scripts and make an actual sequel. Lane was just obnoxious because it had nothing to do with Cloverfield with or without the name. They just slapped it on their and decided it's an anthology series but now they've apparently gone back on that, put another script through their Cloverfield machine, and made an actual quasi-sequel. |

The fact that people still write essays about how amazing and ahead of it's time it was is ridiculous. On a related note, DOOM set out to bring back the old school Doom feel and failed. It feels nothing like the original Doom and is more a hodge podge of old school games inspired by Doom and new games that it is trying to be the antithesis of. Still a fun game but it has a massive identity crisis. |

Inception is completely forgettable outside of some cool set pieces. Interstellar is 3 or 4 pretty good movies rather than one great one. His smaller movies and dramas are far more interesting. |
