I dont know why everyone complains about the checkpoints. Do you know how easy it was to just blow through every single one without looking back? If a truck starts following you take 5 seconds to hop into the gun and blow them away. I'll take that over a game where one of the core mechanics is making it so there are no enemies on the map before you can really play.

^2 is still one of my favorite games of all time. Ridiculously immersive.

Play them all. All worth it for different reasons. 3 if only to see when Ubisoft started losing their shit. 4 is honestly worth skipping since its a lazy copy paste.

I agree. The movie was good and a good demonstration of how to do a female protagonist right. However the media surrounding it was a clusterfuck and completely outweighs the movie itself. He's still kind of a dick for patting himself on the back though.

You guys do realize that X-Men have still consistently had 5 or more active comics going at once for years now, right? They havent gone anywhere. And the reason ff got disbanded was because literally no one was buying them and the movies certainly weren't helping. There is no grand conspiracy.

It's pretty fun. Destroying everything is a lot if fun but there's not much else to it. In order to get upgrades you need to do really inane challenges like ring races and beat the clock stuff. I lost interest because the only fun thing was dicking around but that is a lot of fun.

Microtransactions are a big fat nothing and I still can't comprehend why there's such a big hubbub about them. DLC, if good, is good. If not, it's nothing to worry about.

Since we're solidly into rebooting 90s stuff now I want a live action street sharks with an eventual spinoff and team up with the extreme dinosaurs.

I've exhaled air through my nose a few times but that's about it. If my friends didn't watch it religiously I would prefer to not see another episode. Like every other adult cartoon its just crass and shocking stuff for stoners. Very few actual jokes with setup and payoff.

Didn't disney literally just make a deal with netflix? That's why doctor strange and rogue one were on their so fast.

So I still have to walk places but I just have to do it in a monster world where I could be horribly killed? Doesn't seem worth the party trick of "teleporting".

They set up an interesting premise at the end of Prometheus, and then just totally ignored it in Covenant.

Yeah it's pretty clear after Prometheus didn't do well and people complained about there not being aliens that they just wrote a completely different movie and spliced it together with the original paradise lost idea. Really would have liked to see what the original script looked like.

It was pretty good but had the same pacing and character issues and even worse tone issues than Prometheus. The david parts were still really awesome though.

Most of them are 7/10 chavs with fake tits.

Just because you read online somewhere that it was "like super deep man" doesn't mean it wasn't extremely forced, contrived, and not well implemented to begin with. And, story aside, the gameplay was subpar.

I thought it was hilarious how much people raved and analysed the game. I bet the developers were super excited that people thought their extremely average and generic shooter was somehow a meta commentary on violence, media, and free will.

A lot of people have zero faith in the writers to handle it well rather than the casting itself. Moffat's pandering was notorious in later episodes of his tenure, so hopefully with him gone they moved beyond that hamfisted cringe and can do it with a bit more deftness. I can understand why a show with a most likely predominantly male audience doesn't want to be told how stupid they are by a character they've grown to love over the years or having said character be used as a mouthpiece for some showrunner's obsession with earning brownie points.

This. It makes sense just fine in universe, but in real life there's a pretty clear reasoning and Moffat has not been subtle in the past. It's when the real world starts interfering with stuff in universe that it gets obnoxious.

I'm fine with it. As long as she's good it doesn't really matter. But the shitshow on both sides is going to be insufferable and the "progressivism" behind the choice is still eye-rolling.

At least Moffat is leaving after the Christmas special as well. The quality of the show should skyrocket.

I wish they wouldn't always make it such big news when the Doctor leaves. It seems like a pretty big spoiler to say the main character is going to die in this episode 6 months before the fact. It's obviously hard news to keep secret but wouldn't it be awesome if the Doctor just fucking died mid season and regenerated?

It was a little too on the nose morality 101 but still fairly entertaining. There's a movie called human race that I think does it a fair bit better even if it is still fairly basic and super cheesy.

^True feathers did not evolve until super late into the reign of dinosaurs and what came before that were simple spines. And even that was pretty late on. It's not about needing feathers; they just weren't invented yet.
