Later seasons definitely have a lot of filler and characters getting conveniently hit with the stupid jackass stick but I really enjoy the world building they do, the characters are overall really enjoyable, and obviously the zombie effects and action is top notch. They've already passed on JL2, half the cast has moved on, some burning bridges on the way out, or don't even know if they still have a contract for the franchise.
